Kairos smiled, skiping down the dirt path, casually. 'Maybe, ill actually like it here!'
The forest lining the dirt path was thick and lush with green leaved trees and bushes. There were beautiful Wild flowers as well. the journey was going well so far. Kairos may only be a 9 year old girl...but she is used to being alone. sure it gets lonely sometimes.... 'but ill be fine....right?'
Cecilia had been told not to go down the Travelers path alone. Or rather, not to go anywhere alone. But she didn't care, she wanted to make new friends.
All of a sudden, she saw someone her age! She jumped in delight and ran towards her. "Hello!" she greeted politely. " What's your name?"
Kairos grinned politly at the girl. She seemed friendly, and around her age, too! "Im Kairos! whats yours?" usually, Kairos was alittle more carefull. But this girl didnt seem like a threat at all.
"That would be great! Thank you!" her grin widened and she tied her log white hair back with an orange ribbon, her bangs loose. Kairos took a few step towards Cecilia, excited to have met a girl her age already. the start of a great friendship.
Kairos look at her, her jaw dropping. "Wow!! I didnt know there was a castle here!!! THATS SO COOL!!!" she flailed her arms a bit, expressing how amazing it was that there was a Castle. "Ive never been in a castle befor! Ive never even gotten close to one."
"w-what?! Your so lucky!!! Ive been moving from town to town, all alone, almost all my life." Kairos was pretty much just as surprised as Cecilia. One was a Human Princess, the other was a homeless half demon.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe my big brother will let you stay in the castle with us! Or better yet.. Maybe I can sneak you in!! Nobody has to know." Cecilia giggled.
"Heheheh! that would be so fun!!! But maybe it would be better if you let your brother know....wait- YOUR BROTHER IS THE KING?!" NOW she was Impressed. She didnt know if her brother really was the king, but its just kinda common sense.
She nodded, her eyes wide. "It would be an honor!" Get in good with the king, be able to cause friendly havoc around the town later without getting in trouble too bad. Plus a new friend, an education, health care, and a solid roof over your head!
Cecilia laughed. "Okay, I just gotta warn you, if he's in a bad mood then don't go near him. But if he's in a good mood then you have nothing to worry about!"
