"Ive never been able to talk to people ,really. People would tell their kids to stay away from me... Then they would curse at me and such. It isnt my fault that i was born what i was." Kairos shrugged, but continued to smile. "At least i have a friend now!"
"Wow! Its huge!!" It was really overwhelming, but exciting at the same time. As they got closser, Kairos wondered what it is like to live in a castle. Her ear twitched. Something wasnt right. Maybe it was just her imagination though. Smiling, she asked Cecilia: "What is it like, living in a castle? It must be great. People caring about you and tending to most of your needs."
"Oh. I would actually find it very entertaining." she swished her tail."I'm half fox demon. I'm kinda a kitsune. My name is 'at the right moment', in... Latin.... i think? Anyways, i find things to do really fast. Whether it be playing tricks on people, or studying. You know how tricks and stuff have to be 'At the right moment'? That's where i got my name from." Kairos wasn't good at talking to people, but she was trying. She wanted Cecilia to know her a bit better, in hopes to have a closer friend.
"Studying is alright for me. It gives me more knowledge so i can do my magic!" Kairos demonstrated with a ball of fire in her hand. " Im learning as i travel. Because i live on my own, i need on my magic so that i can survive. It keeps me warm, it cooks my food, it helps me catch my food, it lights the way...It protects me." She let the flame dissapear. "Do you know magic?"
Cecilia nodded. "I can only do one little thing." she said, she waved her hand in a circular version. A small train of various colour followed it. She giggled. "It doesn't do anything, but it sure looks nice."
Cecilia nodded. "We have to sneak in though. They don't know I'm gone, so be very quiet. We're going to climb this pillar." she said, pointing to it. It had few small ledges on it. The perfect size for the young girls feet to step on.
Cecilia quickly climbed up the pillar as she had done many times before. " okay, here's my window." she whispered, pointing to an open window. She climbed onto the ledge in front of it, landing safely. "Be careful at this part." She warned the girl in whisper.
Quickly and silently, Kairos did as Cecilia did. She wasnt as fast as cecilia, but she got to the window eventually. "h-help me up." Kairos held on tightly to the window ledge, holding one hand towards cecilia.
Kairos breathed heavy. "Y-yeah.... May i have a glass of water please?" She forgot about her sickness. It drained her energy pretty fast sometimes. Kairos was a bit unsure about what exactly to tell her new friend. Perhaps it was better to wait, and see.
Cecilia nodded. She grabbed a bell from her nightstand and rang it three times. A maid soon appeared. "Yes, Princess?"
"A glass of water for my friend, please." Cecilia commanded. "Alright, Princess. One moment." The maid scurried off, soon coming back with a tall glass of water. She then handed it to Kairos, bowed politely and left.
Taking the cup, she carefully drank it. "t-thanks. Sometimes i get....really tired- and thirsty." kairos exhaled. "where do you want me to put this? and its a beautiful bedroom you have."
"Anywhere," Cecilia said, as she sat down on her bed. There was a nightstand beside her. "And thank-you! My bedroom in Paineston is much better though."
