Sanaki chuckled "Is that so? or do you solely wish to think that?" he started another large fireball behind the man and launched it directly towards where the man stood "i'll just have to test that now won't i?"
Devan could feel the heat build behind his back, it's was the one flaw to fire magics. He ducked down and turned his head to watch it. It was now going directly at Sanaki. He chuckled, "It's what I know." as it passed over him he put his free hand in the fire. His glove protected him from getting burnt, but the heat caused him to wince in pain. He loved it.
Devan snapped the chain up and down causing a wave to travel threw the chain and would eventually whip Sanaki when it reached him.

Sanaki laughed he let the fireball reach him then merged it and the one in his hand and as the chain whipped him up he lauched the combined force of it makeing it much larger and faster, shouting "Do you now?" he crashed back down onto the roof.
Devan ran back and jumped off the roof to dodge the fireball. He wondered how the man's leg would hold up with all of his weight being supported by it. He may be even so heavy that the other scythe would come unhinged and send them both tumbling to the ground.
Sanaki cursed at the man running away and jumping off the roof and changed the fireball's course to at the least hit the building close to the man, he exhaled and stared at ground wondering where the vampire had gone to when he saw chain "oh yeah......my leg..."he said aloud and sprinted after the man not wanting to have his leg ripped off; as he approached the edge of the roof he grabbed the chain with one hand and prepared to feel the pull on his leg, even if his leg might be injured the man wouldn't last long dangling in the air.
Devan held on to the chain as he felt a jerk. Interesting, he didn't think it would have held. Just as he relaxed however he began falling again. The scythe jammed into the roof had unlatched and him and Sanaki would now be tumbling Down to the ground. Lucky for Devan, however, he was close to the ground and other than a but of pain in his knees, he was fine.
He threw his second scyth towards where the man would most surly fall from.
Sanaki kept cursing as he was pulled closer and closer to the ledge with his free and he dug his rapier into the roof in order to slow his desent, he looked down to see if the man was waiting to attack and spotted the approaching scythe which gave him an idea; switching the hand which held the rapier he pulled the rapier out of the roof and began to fall with his other free hand he caught the scythe by the blade and flipped it so it became his weapon "Well i doubt you saw this outcome" he grinned as he fell towards the man. He wasen't going to kill him just incapicitate.
Devan laughed, "Actually yes I was expecting that." he stepped back out of the way and watched the other scyth fall towards Sanaki with a clump of roof tiles that had broken off. As he waited he prepared to defend from a possible attack. He wasn't going to pursue this fight much longer, wasn't worth risking vampires finding you.
"you have to be kidding me..." Sanaki sighed as the he noticed the other scythe falling towards him, useing the scythe he caught and his rapier he shattered the chain binding his leg. Landing on his feet he sprinted at the man tackling him and rolling to a better fighting postion.
Devan rolled with Sanaki and grabbed his wrists so he couldn't cut him with the weapons. He gave a swift and hard headbutt to disorient the man, fighting hand to hand with a part giant wasn't his best choice.
Sanaki was sure he was going to have a headache in the morning but he had to focus right now, "Bad move grabbing my wrists" he said face-to-face with the man; he opened his hand and dispersed a large flame at a constant rate at the man "seems you must now suffer for your choices" he grinned the man was to ethier let go or die.
Devan let the wrist that wasn't producing the fire go first to make it seem like he was giving up. But with the other wrist he tightened his grip and snapped it down to point at both of their legs. "I make plenty of bad choices, I guess it's just your definition of a bad choice eh."
Their legs began to catch on fire, it hurt incredibly bad but it would heal eventually. With his free hand he pulled out the sword that was in its sheath on his back hip and held it to the man's chest.
Sanaki had been engulfed in flames so many times the burning hardly registered but worse come to worse he knew healing magic like the back of his hand. "You are quite like myself, too many views on things, but one thing is clear and that is that we have reached a stalemate; you kill me and the pain will increase the power behind my fire and return the favour, so shall we cease this 'fun' and walk away like gentleman or add two more bodies to the scene tonight?" he stared at the man for his response.
Devan shrugged, "I don't mind adding my own body to my number," he smiles and flinches a little with his dagger as if to plunge it into the man. "But I don't want my body to be food for vampires.... So we can be gentlemen." he throws the blade to the ground, let's go of the mans wrist, and struggles to get up from the burns.
accepting the man's help and useing his free hands produces a glow that envlopes them both healing their wounds, "Well thats not really an answer i'd expect but i agree with you on that logic" he said.
"Not many people understand me... That is why I am such a deadly opponent. The names Enoch by the way, and you?" he asked folding his arms across his chest.
"On the spot, however one can not stay long without hearing of you, seems you've built yourself a reputation; people spead rumors or even talk aloud of your crimes" he commented thinking back on the hushed voices or accusations on the man standing before him.
