Height: 5 '11" When human. 7'2" When werewolf
Appearance: (When human) Ranulf has medium length shaggy grey hair that he usually keeps covered with a hat and bandana. His eye color is a very light brown and he has scars on his cheek from previous battles. His body tone is athletic but smaller than the other weres in his pack. He generally wears a brown short sleeved jacket with no undershirt. He wears a bead necklace as a reminder of his past. Out in the forest he hardly wears any footwear (Mostly because of his lycantrhope) but in town he wears brown shoes.
(When werewolf)
He is a very rare white furred werewolf, he has razor sharp black claws and paws. In the forest he wears steel plated armor and leggings that stop at the footpaws. He wears steel wrist guards and still wears his beads. He's much more agile and quick witted than the other weres in the pack.
Weapons: Uses a steel sword (When human) Uses his claws and sword (When werewolf)
Magic: Knows an adequate amount of healing and restoration spells which made him valuable to the pack.
History: Ranulf had a pretty normal life as a child. He was human, had two parents and a little brother. Throughout his childhood he showed interest in magic and attended the Avaleur public school. In school he was a solid student but what stood out for him was his compassion for others. This made him great at leaning the healing spells within the school. While out at night hunting and exploring with his little brother in the forest when he was 13 they were attacked by a very large creature, unknown to them a feral werewolf. While protecting his little brother, giving him time to get away, he was ferociously bitten on his shoulder. Other hunters arrived in time to chase off the beast but Ranulf had already been infected. Werewolves were never seen around the Avaleur area, so no one knew what it was. A month later while studying late night after school he changed for the first time under the full moon. (Making him the 1st person to destroy an Avaleur school room) At first he thought he could keep it a secret and hope to find a cure or learn to control it, but as the full moons past it became harder and harder to keep a secret. At times it would seem the bloodlust tried to take over even in daylight. Somehow the town discovered that he was a werewolf and, despite the outcry and protest from his loving family, he was nearly killed and driven out of town . At the time when everything seemed its darkest he met Balius. Balius offered him to join the pack and since Ranulf had no place else to go he accepted. There Balius taught him how to control himself and how to avoid going feral. In the pack he befriended Steele and was well respected because of his healing capabilities. Though Balius never respected Ranulf and always "put him in his place" whenever he had the chance, he never harshly punished him.
Being more sympathetic than the other weres made him looked down upon but through the years he showed he could hold his own and developed a brotherly relationship with Steele.
Currently he is Balius's Cheif Officer, 3rd in command.
