Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
The werewolf looked in awe, he'd never seen an elf before. "Is it true? Are all elves good with bows? How come they have such weird eyes? If a human and an elf-" The blond one pushes the little one out of the way. "Listen. We'd love to help you but the only business we do around here is with coin." He says. "Balius wouldn't like us taking in travelers without a good reason." The werewolf on the ground says. It was amazing. Werewolves were ferocious and vicious creatures, yet when they were controlled they were drastically less aggressive.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Chase thought for a moment. They were right back at square one again. "Well alright....but if they ask what you're doing we're not helping." He states again. "I'm Chase, this is Olaf." He says pointing to the small one. "And this is Razor." He says pointing to the one on the ground.
"Now that that's all out of the way you should probably know this forest is practically a desert. You could be lost out here for days if you don't stay with us, but you'd probably be eaten before day comes anyway." He says. "Come on..this way." He orders picking up a scent. The other werewolves follow, Olaf continues to observe Namari. "You're not from Avaleur are you?" He asks.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
All three werewolves stop and look at her as if she just spoke some foreign language. "Fide what?" Razor asks. "I bet she's just making it up." Chase says. "Shut up let her talk." Olaf says really interested. "Go on, what was it like in...Fidelite." He says it like he's imagining a golden kingdom.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"Well, different from here. The kingdom was completely made up of elves. If you werent an elf, or were only half elf, you were looked down upon. My kingdom was fairly rasist againsed others, to say the least. But, they still respected other cultures. Fidelite was very big, and beautiful, it was crafted a very long time ago. It is very clean, and filled with plants and animals."
"No way." Chase says. "She's just making everything up." He continues on the trail that Steele left. "No one can be racist and respect other cultures. He rolls his yellow eyes.
Razor follows, "It sounds pretty cool, I guess..." One could tell Razor believed it was all true. But with their lives they'd never come close to living in that kind of paradise.
Olaf was very amazed at the image Namari described. "What about you? What was it like for you there?" He asks.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"It's not that we respected them per say, it was that we didn't kick them out if they wanted to live in our kingdom." Namari shrugged. "As for me, well, I was their princess, so for most of my life they treated me as such. So my life there was mostly good"

Olaf's eyes went wide with admiration, "Woah you're a princess? We-why in gods name would you leave!?" He asked. "You had it made where you're from, why would you ever want to leave to come.....here?" He asks.
Chase turns around. "Like I said, she's a fake. If there's one thing Balius has taught anyone is that you can't trust a skirt. Our home is here, she's just filling your heads with non sense."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari laughed, turning to Chase. "You don't have to believe me. But first of all, why would I lie, I have no reason to. And second, it really doesn't matter if any of you believe me or not. I don't mind"
Continuing her story, she stated, "My father killed someone I really cared for, so basically I ran away from home and came here. But, I also suppose the royal life is not the greatest. I wasn't really happy. At least here I can do what I want, and not have to worry about grace and manners. It's not like I don't have those things, I'm just not forced into it now."
"Yes cause living a life of luxury was SO difficult right?" Chase says sarcastically. "I can't imagine how you would live off of such hard ship like sleeping in a soft warm-bed. Getting whatever you wanted whenever you wanted must have been just so devastating." Chase rolls his eyes. "Stupid broad. Ye' should have stayed. But no you just had to have more didn't you? The one thing you didn't get and you just run away from your whole family as if they never mattered to you at all..." Chase gives a low growl.

Namari smirked, "Complete luxury is just a word painted gold. Sure, I had stuff. I had a warm bed. Didn't have to worry about those things. I won't argue that. But I didn't have friends, my father hated me, my boyfriend was killed, and quite frankly I didn't want to rule over the kingdom. Sure, ruling over a kingdom would be cool, but one slip-up and you'll be killed. Hell, assassins would try to kill me just like that."
"I slept in the church for a year, maybe, before I was able to get enough money to afford a small home. I worked for it. It feels a hell of a lot better working for what you own rather than getting what you want automatically. Don't complain about what you don't have until you've lived both sides for a while. Trust me, it can change your opinion on the matter. Besides, different lives are different for everyone. I'm good for what I have now. On the other hand, maybe you would love to be a prince. It really all depends." Namari smiled.
Chase looked at Namari at a loss for words. One would think he looked at her with contempt. There was no way a kid would ever understand what Namari went through. He was just too young. "God you're hopeless..." He shook his head and continued.
Razor looked at Namari. "Don't mind Chase..." He says and goes on all fours to catch up.
Olaf stays by Namari. At this distance one could see Olaf was the youngest out of the three. No more than 12. His fur wasn't at it's full length. He speaks quietly so only Namari would hear. "Chase's mom and dad got killed by a vampire in the city months ago. They say Balius stole him at the festival, a lot of us were." He looks as if he was looking up at a role model. "The scent is getting stronger, I think we're getting close." The deeper they went into the forest the creepier it got. Noises were coming from everywhere, predators all around were just waiting for an unsuspecting traveler.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari nodded, "It is easy to see why he wouldnt understand my side of the story. I hate my parents. All he has is grief."
Namari silently drew the sword at her hip, as to make sure she was ready for anything. "How can you all concentrate with all of this noise? I mean, I have sensitive ears and it's giving me a headache, but you're ears I am pretty sure are more sensitive."
"We're pretty used to it. At first it was scary but as long as we stay together the creatures out here won't attack. Plus they know better than to attack a werewolf." Olaf says. "That's why you'll never see a werewolf travel alone." Yet Steele did this quite often. "The worst out here are hydra's and hunters. Hydra's are asleep this time, but the hunters are more ruthless than bandits. They hate anything that is different."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"I've met a few good hunters. Though, the ones I know probably don't go out this deep into the forest." Namari chuckled. "Do you suppose we're getting closer to Steele yet, if I might ask?"
"Yeah we're getting close. I wonder what he's doing all the way out here anyway. Camp is that way." Olaf says pointing.
"Olaf!" Chase barks. "Did you just tell this outsider where our camp was!?" He growls. "She could be a spy for all we know, Balius would have your hide for this."
Olaf's ears lower. "Well she's not a spy!" He growls. "And how do you know that? We don't know squat about her except that she's a runaway from Fidelite." Chase says angrily.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"Spy, yeah sure, did I ever ask where your camp was? I've only asked where Steele was." Namari shrugged. "If I was really a spy I would ask for Balius, and try getting you all to lead me to the camp itself. If you want to trust me more, ask me anything and I will answer it as truthfully as I can."
