Flexing his claws once more, the demon stared at Goria. After a moment or so, Walter quickly created two large black balls of dark magic into his hands, lunging forward at Goria. He released the magic, the balls hurling towards Goria, as Walter lashed out.
Goria smiled slightly at the attack. He jumped into the air and kicked both balls of dark energy at Kavanah, spinning as he did so. As the demon approached, he let him make contact with Goria and then Goria flipped and threw a knee into the back of the demon's head. He landed softly on the ground, waiting. Then he dissolved the hill and used a large amount of power to teleport the remainder of the Fiin in a circle around all of the Avaleur troops. He felt the drain, but would be fine without that power. Surrounded, they had no chance at all unless they killed him. Which was very unlikely.
Yemet and his entire mercenary troop had been hired to go to the island and scout out the place. When they got there, they kept behind the action and just watched. Then another person contacted them via magic and promised a large reward if he should join in on the Avaleur side. Wordlessly, he and his group had circled around, looking for a place to fight. So far, the man in bloody blue armor and the man with weird eyes were the only ones he had deemed worthy. He hated demons and gods, and that winged man used too destructive of magic. The rest were just fighting to save their lives. The one is gray armor was decent, but Yemet could tell that he was holding back at least a bit.
The elf with one arm was pretty good too, but Yemet had yet to decide if she was worthy enough. When the circle of enemy troops appeared, Yemet held his hand up and then moved it forward to signal an attack. Like a pack of silent wolves, he and his troop descended on the Fiin near the area the man with weird eyes had slaughtered enemy troops. They attacked quickly and silently, taking out one Fiin from the back line at a time. Forty seven had died before they were discovered, and Yemet immediately activated his seal for drawing power from nature and used it to launch his seal for increasing his senses to a degree unheard of at the cost of touch. Without pain, he can keep going no matter what. He turned off the seal on his left arm and activated the seal for making his skin as hard as steel, and his back tingled like usual when he did this one. he felt the steady drain of power, but it was so miniscule it'd take an hour or so before his immense reserves of power were drained. Yemet drew the sword on his right, leaving his other sword in its sheath. None but he and his two captains even knew he had a second sword, as anybody who sees it dies before they can tell anybody. Yemet ordered his men to go and fight, to draw away as many enemy forces as they could. Yemet slowly carved a long, narrow line through the Fiin forces and burst through on the other side. Without a word, he turned and sliced the heads off of another two Fiin, then backed away and waited for them to advance on him. If he stood here, they'd be dumb enough to attack. Hopefully the soldiers behind him would be smart enough to move and attack the newly created weak spot. He spared a glance over to his troops. Not a single one had been killed yet, but they were now on the same front as he was. They dashed over to him silent as the night air, standing their ground next to their leader. Yemet smiled. Even at the age of 52, his seals made him young. He cracked his neck and beckoned for the frightened enemy troops to advance, smirking at them.

Walter ignored the hit to his head, spinning around and lunging once more. This time, he engulfed his hands in the black magic and lashed out, using both the magic and his claws to do damage to Goria.
Kavanah threw the dark disc and it cut through the balls of energy. Goria had moved so that disc flew by into nothing. With the other he threw it where the 'god' would land. It would most surely cut into the back of his leg.
Before they had a chance, the army had been sent out of the hill and now they where surrounded. Now it would be a struggle of survival.
Roland fought with all his heart and might, but alas, each time he killed one, two more took its place. Exhaustion began to take it's toll, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw a fellow soldier. It was Ralof, the boy had hardly mended his wounds in time for the battle and sprang into as soon as he could. Ralof was what kept Roland going, he wouldn't stop. Not while Ralof was with him.
Goria smiled. This was getting fun. As the bird boy and the demon attacked from both sides, Dadramora had taken the opportunity to strike from above. A three- pronged attack would do a lot of damage if taken. Goria let the black disc cut into his leg, and immediately used a spell no other mortal could use. With a slight amount of magic, he turned the matter that was his blood and converted it to energy. The difficult part would be containing the explosion, as every molecule of matter was really just condensed energy. Goria funneled the explosion up and out, engulfing Dadramora and throwing Walter away from him. They wouldn't be a threat for now. The bird boy was the target. Goria turned, and with his blood created ten exact duplicates of himself. All would use as much of Goria's power as they needed to continue distracting the demon as well as Dadramora. With those two taken care of, Goria lept up and started fighting hand to hand with the bird boy. He took precautions and covered his body in a film of energy to prevent any secondary effects the bird boy would want to inflict on him.
Sanaki's rapier pierced another enemy as he held his ground "Me? i think I've gotten caught up in one or two, but i served as a healer only, what about you?" he blocked an incoming sword before looked in Rez's direction "hey buddy long time no see, how ar-" his words stop as his eyes widen in horror upon hearing his voice "oh my god...Rez....you didn't.....did you?" he stared as the enemy in front of him was killed, "please tell me you didn't do it man" he began to laugh nervously.
Sanaki flinched at Namari's question he forgot she was there "H-huh? o-ho n-nothing much j-just perhaps he may h-have u-u-unlocked a power to g-great for his b--body or himself in g-general, nothing t-to w-w-worry about I'm sure".
He fidgeted around hoping to dance around to question "C-cause y-you know it was s-sorta sealed for a r-reason, and i.....sorta may have kinda.....unlocked it?" he lowered his voice to a whisper at the last part."B-but you didn't unseal it or something like that right?.......right?" he added looking nervously at Rez.
The man wasn't sure if Namari's question was for the both of them, but he answered anyway, "I myself, this would be my first war. But collectively I have been in countless."
This next technique was much more difficult, at least to start. He needed to figure out the contents of the Fiin armor. Was he figured it out he coul manipulate it. He got it and crushed the armor a few were wearing. They were crushed along with their garments. Rez stopped that as it began to be too much of a drain than it was worth. To many difficult steps. There were too many enemies to take multiple steps.
Now he coated his body, besides his head, with a weird metal (essential all of the metals in one) and decided to fight like this from now on.
Kavanah noticed Goria covering himself in a film of protective magic, so he did the same to himself. Like before it pulsated throughout his body. He waited for Goria to get closer and he drew his twin dark and light blades. He slashed with the right up at Goria's left shoulder and jabbed the left toward his hand that was coming towards him.

The demon was so angry, black magic was shown covered all over him. He ran towards Goria, now not facing him, and pushed himself even quicker forward with his wings.Walter lashed out with both hands once more, slashing at Goria's back.

"S-so you have then...fuuuck" Sanaki sighed "well might as well make use of it right, I'm sure you can handle it!" he replied lying like a snake "I'm am visiting the library later it seems...." he added keeping it under his breath.
Rez could hear most things around him, nothing went unnoticed. "You couldn't stop it now. Not just you, we couldn't stop it now..." Rez assumed that's what his friend meant by saying the library later.
He punched with all his might and the Fiin's shield shattered sending the poor warrior soaring into his comrades, knocking them over. 'What have I done?' he thought to himself. But that itself was a lie, he was not himself.

Namari raised an eyebrow once more, but continued to fight. Two Fiin's tried striking down on her, but she used her sword to block one, and a small green magic shield blocked the other. She countered, slashing at the enemies quickly.
Roland and his small band, now much smaller, struggled to maintain their ground. The Fiin so vastly outnumbered them that the exhaustion coming from fighting this long now made the Fiin stronger than they were. A spear lunged toward the panting and unguarded Ralof. Roland jumped infront of the blow and blocked it with his shield, another spear lunged in however, this one piecing Roland's breast plate and stabbing him in the ribs. Ralof caught his fallen comrade, blood flowed from the wound, it must have been bad. Roland couldn't move his arm that was closest to the wound, it hurt too bad. "Ralof, what are you doing?! Do not worry about me... You must keep going, for... The men, for you.... For me." Ralof just held him for a moment as the others fended off the Fiin around the two. "Now!" Roland ordered. Ralof gentle set his commander down and with pain in his eyes turned back to fight the Fiin.
Roland laid on the ground, his breath was already short from fighting, but it seemed to be getting shorter. He wasn't adept at healing, in fact their medic had died much earileir in the battle. He could only sit and hopeful wait out his death to see, hopefully by some miricale, victory.
Yemet's group of mercenaries were fighting quite well, having lost only two men so far. If they remained at a ratio of 2:376 then it would be a fun battle. Yemet watched calmly as the man in blood covered blue armor fell, wounded badly. He sighed, knowing that an inspirational leader was neccesary for victory. Without a word, he bounded over to the wounded man and knelt next to him. Yemet activated the seal on his left arm, the one for drawing power from nature, and the one for instant regeneration. He set his right hand on the man's head, and he didn't even struggle because of the weakness of his body in its current state. Again without a word, Yemet healed both himself and the man in a matter of a few seconds. He watched as a few trees lost their color, one of them even died, but the man and himself were okay.
The man was still weak, obviously needing a break. Yemet picked up the man and slung his weapons over his own shoulder, carrying the man on his back. "Rest." is all Yemet said to the man as he bounded over to his mercenary group. He ordered five men to guard him as he rested up for a bit. Yemet knelt next to the man and leaned over into his ear.
"You are a good fighter, a good leader. Don't be a fucking dumbass and throw your life away to protect others who are meant for slaughter. They can afford to die, but should the spirit of an army be torn away then many more will die. Learn this lesson, young warrior, and take my words to heart. I rarely give them to anybody, let alone in the middle of a battle." With that, Yemet stood and drew his sword again. Then he turned and activated three seals at once. He drew his other blade as his skin became as hard as steel, his speed and physical power rose to more than six times what it had been before, and he sacrificed his sense of touch to increase his sense of hearing. Immediately, he couldn't feel his swords or the armor on his left arm, and wouldn't feel pain from any wound. He could also hear the miniscule sounds, just like a dogs hearing. Yemet turned and immediately heard the strain in the voices and grunts of a group of Fiin. Without thinking, he bounded to them in a few seconds and slaughtered all ten in less than fifteen. Yemet turned his attention to a battle between a few men on the other side of the battlefield, and smiled as he took note that one of them seemed to be leading the enemy army. Take him out, the rest falls apart. Yemet sped towards them, getting there in a minute, and lept into the air slashing at who he thought was the leader. When he cut the man though, it dissolved into a few drops of blood. Yemet looked down, and saw there were quite a few of these. He sighed and when he landed, started fighting two of them at once. They were much more skilled than the Fiin soldiers were, and Yemet soon found himself at a stalemate with them.
Goria laughed as the bird boy drew his blades. Goria created two exact duplicates of them, and took Kavanah's fighting stance. "Your move." He said. He felt a slight increase in his power as one of his clones was killed, then another by the demon. There was a man with new, yet great, power fighting off two at once, and Dadramora was nowhere to be seen. That's when Goria felt the shift in power. He glanced east, and with a boost from magic, saw that Miyol and Gonra were making their way towards Isiolde. With them, the battle would actually shift into a stalemate. Avaleur had too many strong warriors on their side to make it anything but. If he had known it would be like this, Goria would've hit Paineston first. As it was, he sent the rest of the clones after Walter. They may not be of Goria's power, but six on one would be an interesting battle. Goria turned his attention back to Kavanah. "Well? Are you going to attack or not?"
Roland, although healed, struggled to remain conscious. He managed to stay awake while the warrior spoke to him. There was a lot of truth in what he said. But Roland would never change. He would always be willing to sacrifice for his comrades. Now he would just have to rest and get in as soon as he could.
