Gwilym pulled a fresh and large carrot out from the ground. He didnt waste much time sinking his teeth into the vegtable. Now normally he wasn't a greens guy, but today anything would do. Gwilym wasn't sure if eating this was exactly smiled upon, but he was famished. His journey to Avaleur was through the desert and there wasn't per say nutritioness meals out there.
Scooter noticed Gwilym eating the carrot and couldn't resist approaching him. "Hello, friend? How is that carrot? Does it taste fine? I planted it myself! Is it good?!" he questioned, excitedly.
Gwilym tensed his shoulders up hearing another's voice. At first he was afraid he would be scolded. But as he turned he saw a kind looking man, and when Scooter began to talk, he was no longer worried in the slightest. Gwilym began to speak but all that came out was carrot. He shut his mouth quick and finished chewing before he continued. "Oh, yes! This is the best carrot I've tasted. Most of the time they aren't as fresh let alone moist when they reach us. My home is in the desert. So you planted this?"

Scooter clapped his hands together, happily. "That's wonderful! I'm glad you like it! See, nobody has ever told me what they thought of them, so I'm glad I caught you! Yes, I planted the carrots all by myself! Well, I had a bit of help at the end, actually, but I look after them everyday to make sure they grow to perfection and are suitable for people to eat!" He explained quickly. "You live in the desert? Is it hot there?"
Gwilym smiled. Everyone asked that. "In the day yes, but at night it becomes freezing cold. And I do believe you did a splendid job on the carrots." he decided he liked this man, as he did most farmers. He seemed real, "The name's Gwilym Onyx." he said with a head nod.
"Oh, what a unique name!" Scooter exclaimed. "G-wi-lym on-yx. Oh, it's fun to say! How interesting! My name is Scooter Fairholm! It's nice to meet you!"
Gwilym snorted as he began to chuckle. "Ya not many people have it. But Scooter seems as a it is an uncommon name as well. Very unique I'd say." he held out his clawed hand.
Scooter shook the mans hand. "Gee, thanks! That sure is nice to say!" He smiled. " You sure look tired, have you rested much lately? You should make sure to get the right amount of rest. It's not good for your body if you don't, you could pass out or something and that wouldn't be good. You wouldn't have any energy at all, you know. Did you just get to Avaleur? Did it take you long to get here? Is that why you are so tired? "
The man began to shake his hand and Gwilym just smiled as he ignored his other comments for now. "We Goragonians don't shake hands." he chuckled as he clasped Scooters hand and pulled him in for a bro hug. He let go of Scooter laughing, "Yes I suppose I did just arrive, although, I guess I haven't exactly arrived yet. Haven't made it to town yet....." he yawned. Gwilym hadn't noticed till scooter mentioned it, but he was tired. And evidently he looked it too.
Scooter blushed at the sudden hug. He hadn't been expecting it. "Y-You should definitely rest more! It's bad for you health! Do you know which way town is? Do you have a place to stay? I could show you around, I would hate for your health to suffer due to lack of rest."
Gwilym looked up, thinking. "Ermmm... No I don't know of any place to stay. I was thinking about making a cabin in the woods." he chuckled, "But I guess I would need rest first before I did that." he looked back down at Scooter, "If you would show me around that'd be great!"
Scooter nodded with a smile. "No problem! It would be my honor to show you around! Is there any particular place you'd like to know how to get to? I know my way all around Avaleur!"
Dadramora had been flying over the lands outside of Avaleur for quite awhile, stretching his wings after the week or so of rest from the siege of Avaleur. He yawned and looked down, then noticed Scooter and a strange green lizard man thing. With a smile he dove down and landed next to Scooter.
"Hello Scooter. How're you?" He asked, ignoring the lizard man.
If what'cha see is what'cha get, why can't ya judge a book by its cover?
"Hello, friend!" Scooter exclaimed to Dadramora. "Have you met G-wi-lym on-yx yet?" he asked, still having fun saying the name. He pointed to the lizard man. " Do you two know each other yet? You should meet each other! And be friends! And then we'll all be friends!"
Scooter gasped dramatically. "Well, this is Dadramora." He pointed to him. "And Dadramora, this is G-wi-lym on-yx." he pointed back to the lizard man. "Now become friends!"
