"It has to do with the war. I was wondering, that should it become needed, could you provide a huge cloud cover? It'd have to be large enough so that an entire army could be kept hidden from the sky. Also, it'd be a huge help if you could do fog as well."
If what'cha see is what'cha get, why can't ya judge a book by its cover?
Dadramora smiled. He liked Scooter. "Thank you. Your abilities will come in handy later." Then he turned to the lizard man.
"Who are you again? I'm Dadramora." He stretched his wings and tail out, sighing with the pleasure of his muscles getting worked out. It was also easier to do now that his armor was gone, torn apart by Sani, the dragon he wore around his neck.
If what'cha see is what'cha get, why can't ya judge a book by its cover?
Scooter smiled as they headed to a small inn within the town. It was the perfect place to temporarily rest. He whistled as they walked along throughout the town. When passing various points, Scooter would point them out and tell Gwilym what they were. "And over there is the castle!" Scooter exclaimed, pointing to the large building.
Gwilym felt very uncomfortable as they walked through the crowds, he looked and admired what he could as Scooter explained things. He could tell that Zaleth was right, they were at war. The buildings although repaired well, showed a slight sign of destruction. He then looked at the castle, "It's a pretty nice one." he said, a little too small for a bunch of His like but for humans it was probably good.
Scooter smiled. "I've seen bigger too." he whispered. He could tell Gwilym wasn't 100% impressed. He laughed. "And right here is the inn!" he exclaimed, as they had arrived in front of it.
Gwilym chuckled, Scooter had understood exactly what he thought. He looked at the inn and besides it being a little bit in ruin, it impressed him. At least the size did anyway, who knew what the inside was like. "This looks quite good actually." he nudges scooter, "I'm still going to have money left right? I don't need to have a stay like royalty."
"Hm? Yeah! The prices here are really cheap! And the first stay is free, so don't worry about it! A lot of people here don't have a lot of money so we all help each other out with that kind of stuff." Scooter explained, smiling. "You just have to sign your name in and they'll give you a room!"
Gwilym was quite shocked, "Can't argue with that!" he hurried in and signed the paper quicker than you could say Goragonian. He smiled holding his room keys. He walked back over to the two once everything was sorted out. "Wow, I may just like this place yet." he said smiling. Scooter had begun to make him a little more accepting to Avaleur, before he had arrived he figured it would be a terrible year.
"aw, shucks. Thanks! That sure is nice of you to say!" Scooter smiled. "Well, I should be off. See ya fellas later!" he waved goodbye as he took his leave.
