Sanaki walked slowly around the area of the ruins, he felt an uneasy about what he was doing, he almost lost his eye to it but practice was needed.
He closed his eyes and focused on a statue, holding his hand out the stone figure turned gray and collapsed in on itself, he sighed upon it's collapse, "I hate this magic but i may become useful" he whispered to the wind.
Gwilym had come to the ruins to be alone. The crowds of people, he had had enough with. He had recieved glances that he knew to be directed at him with negativity. He wished the year was over, cause it didn't seem like things would get better...
He sat down on what looked to be a good seat, but as he say it crumbled under his weight and he fell on his backside. He flicked his tongue out in agitation.
Sanaki looked around alramed, was that the statue? or was someone else here? he couldn't afford to have the public know he used this kind of magic, he tried to look like an average citizen till he realized that no one around town had white hair "Oh to hell with this" he said under his breath "I-is someone here?" he called out.
Gwilym got up and rubbed his rear when he heard a voice. He learned around the corner being too shy to answer. He didn't see anyone, but the voice had to have came from somewhere. He very quietly tried to find out the source of the noise by going the it's direction. Soon he picked up Sanaki's scent.
He came to a thin wall where he was almost certain was in between him and whatever it was, smelt like a man. He used his claw to poke a hole big enough to peer through into the wall and looked into it. He saw the white haired man, seemed harms enough, that's when he saw the tiny knob from the handle of a blade in his cloak. He was surprised he even saw it, it was so well hidden. But now he knew that this man was not just a commoner, and why hide the blade? Was he a thief or assassin?! He would continue to watch silently.
After watching closely for hardly any time he noticed books. The man must have been a scholar of some sort, and he had heard the town was dangerous in its wilderness. So although it didn't answer why the weapon was hidden, he saw the need. Helium didn't want to make the man worry as he could see it was as though he knew someone was watching him. He stepped back from the wall and, being shy, nervously called back. "Y-yes," it wasn't loud in any sense and it was his short unsure tone.
Dadramora had learned from a few sources that a man with an aura of power had been spotted here not long before the siege on Avaleur, and he guessed that it was Goria. He had come to the ruins, hoping to find some clue of Goria's ends and means after the siege, but was instead amused to see Sanaki looking around for something or someone. Dadramora probed with his mind and bumped into a familiar entity, that of Gwilym, who then spoke up soon after. Dadramora smiled and hid behind a large statue, listening in on their conversation intently.
If what'cha see is what'cha get, why can't ya judge a book by its cover?
Sanaki's head snapped in the direction of the voice he was thankful that it wasn't his mind playing tricks on but he prayed that whoever it was didn't see his magic take down the statue, if word got out there would be trouble.
"Well stop hiding before i take your wall down" he said, he wasn't going to play games, even though he was shy and nervous he had to make sure that no one saw anything, he felt like he was being watched by more then one person and was on edge.
"It's.. Not my wall." gwilym said as he turned around the corner slowly and uneasy. This man, he must have been wrong about. He was aggressive, so maybe a thief or crook was the right guess.
Dadramora breathed silently as Sanaki and Gwilym started to talk to each other. The tension was thick enough you could cut it with a knife, and Dadramora was ready to intervene should things get violent.
If what'cha see is what'cha get, why can't ya judge a book by its cover?
He was surprised to see him come around corner but quickly got back on track "Not your wall? nevermind that, did you see how this statue collapsed?" he asked pointing to the one he just destroyed.
Was this man some sort of loon?! "I'm sorry, this is not my home..... They are ruins. I imagine the statue broke long ago," he said with raised eyebrow. Was this guy serious?
Sanaki breathed a little easier knowing that no one had seen anything "Well i know its not your home" he replied his expression changing completely and laughing "sorry i had to make sure of something first, but now that its out of the way nice to meet you, I'm Sanaki" he added chuckling a bit, he found it was a good way to suppress his nervous habits.
Gwilym now felt odd about the man, he questioned him, changed his mood in the blink of an eye, and seemed to be hiding something. And not only that, but Dadramora was hiding close by. Hiding close by. Why was there so much secrecy?! "Hey... I'm Gwilym." he said once again being shy and always keeping an eye on the area in which the weapon was at.
Sanaki could sense suspicion raising in Gwilym and hoped he didn't act on it "I see, quite the interesting name" he smiled and noticed him eying his weapon, which was odd since not many people noticed it "O-oh you noticed my rapier did you?" he asked pulling his coat back to bring the sword into full view, he hoped this would distract Gwilym from his thoughts.
Gwilym felt a little easier sense the man openly showed his weapon now. "It's not so odd in my homeland of Goragon." he said he now looked Sanaki in the eyes. "Yes I noticed it, very well hidden I was just spying on you for a little while. Make sure you were not a threat."
"Spying on me? i don't if i should be angry for you spying on me or happy that you don't see me as a threat" he chuckled a bit, atleast he didn't see the statue fall by his hand, but if he was here then why is there still the sensation of being watched.
Gwilym could still smell Dadramora, why he was hidden he did not know. "Ya, sorry about that I guess." Gwilym said not really all that sorry, he was warming up but slowly.
"Its alright i suppose" he shurgged he had no reason to be angry he guessed, looking around he spoke calmly "though we do have another matter at hands" he finally looked in Dadramora's general direction "we have another person here it seems" he was tempted to break everything within a certain radius but he kept it in check.
Gwilym was a bit startled really. Sanaki was able to feel Dadramora's presence, so he Had more to him than you thought. "Yes, his names Dadramora." he replied not looking in the direction of Dadramora but keeping his gaze on Sanaki.
