((feel free to join anybody, but do know that this is a critical part to Zaleth's development as well as his back story. Please don't do anything TOO random))
Zaleth waited on the island, ready for battle. He had his spear in his right hand, his sword in his left, and he had used the forbidden spell to fuse his two sets of armor together. He was at his most powerful under a half moon that was visible in the day sky, just like it was today. He had already sent the diplomatic response to Min and had put that out of his thoughts. Right now, he was meeting with the man who had caused him to be where he was in his life now. Zelrath, his brother, the murderer of the Avenger of Min. His father. He sensed his brother, half Min and half Han, approaching through the water. The Han controlled water and metal, leaving the fifth element of fire to the Rey. Fire was the hardest to control, but the easiest to grasp, so they took it willingly in the Great Seperation.
The form of a man, half naked with only a pair of pants on, rose from the east bank of the island. Zaleth turned and examined his half brother. His skin was slick with the water armor spell that was a high level spell to use. His body was scarred and his face was covered by a mask. He was well muscled, and wielded the twin blades of water. They were called Hath and Resh, Death and Destruction, and were extremely powerful.
"Hello Zaleth." He said to Zaleth. Zaleth clenched his teeth together and resisted the urge to attack. The ones who were very adept at water magic were very effective at counterattacks, while the metal users are good at defense. This was a match of speed and strength vs. defense and agility.
"Brother." Zaleth squeezed out. He pointed his spear at his brother and then rose steadily into the air. With a start, both warriors flew at each other and traded a blow with the other that shook the very island itself. Both were using their maximum power. They exchanged blow after blow, using magic and steel in an attempt to overwhelm the other. Zaleth landed a jab with is spear in his brother's left thigh while his brother stabbed him in his chest, fracturing the rib it made contact with.
Both backed away, breathing heavily. "You've gotten better since our last battle Zaleth. You're at father's level now." He said, laughing. Zaleth felt a burning rage inside of him breach the surface. With a roar, he flew at his brother. He ignored the pain in his chest and attacked with a furious ferver that Zaleth didn't know he had in him. His brother took a few more blows, all weakened by the water armor, before shouting and driving Zaleth away with a pillar of water that slammed him into the ground. He gasped for air, then coughed up some blood which got pooled in his helm. He tore it off, letting the blood paint the dirt below him. His long, blonde hair flowed down after being kept up for so long, and his face was revealed. He had one blue eye and one green eye, and a scar ran down the left side of his otherwise flawless face. He had a square jaw, but he was missing the canine on his left upper jaw.
He stood up shakily, then the adrenaline kicked in. He sensed the spike before it actually revealed itself. Zaleth jumped into the air right as a giant iron spike popped up from the ground. It was followed by a thousand thin blades. With a start, he sliced and dodged them but still got hit by quite a few of them. After the attack, Zaleth was bloody and cut apart. The armor healed by itself, a quality of the earth armor part of his armor. Blood dripped from his finger tips as it found its way out of his armor and into the air.
"Don't tell me that's what you call max power? I ain't even at sixty percent yet. Fight me. Fight me! Give me a challenge none have been able to fulfill in my life! Come Zaleth! FIGHT ME!" He screamed. He charged at Zaleth, swinging and spinning, all while using magic, inflicting even more damage on Zaleth than he already had done to him. Zaleth started to fade into the darkness that is death, unwilling in his departure. As the world began to fade, an image popped into his head. An image of his father, laughing. Then an image of his mother hugging him. More images floated into his head, and then Zaleth found a renewed vigor deep inside his soul that gave him more strength in his beat and abused body than he ever thought he could have. With a shout, he pushed his brother back.
A yellow aura surrounded him, sparking like electricity. His hair floated, and his eyes had turned a reddish color. All of his cuts had sealed, and his bruises were gone, like this new sudden rush of power had healed him in a way. His brother laughed. "Yes! That's it! Fight me! Try and kill me!" He cried hysterically. Zaleth just stared, then tilted his head forward a tiny bit. A sharp, fast blade of air sliced across his brother's mask. It fell apart, to reveal an electric blue eye among a throng of hair. His brother laughed manically, then readied himself. The battle had finally, truly begun.
