A 'Magical' Encounter

[Sanaki]

Sanaki nearly dragged his feet as he walked into the center of town, it appeared that people were getting back into the routine of things as the 'hustle and bustle' of their daily lives picked up,
Sanaki looked among the faces, for someone he could talk too he had to be more social in life however half the people were rushing to other places in town and the other half were already in a conversation.

Giving up for the time being he sat on the edge of the fountain manipulating the water and other elements in his hands as people continued on with their lives.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante walked around town, enjoying the view. Avaleur was becoming more and more fixed up, to his delight, and the boy decided to take a small break.

He sat at his usual spot by the fountain, reading a book, when he heard the sound of water moving. Turning around, he spotted a man manipulating the water. He smiled, walking up to the man. "Hello!" he smiled.

[Sanaki]

Sanaki jumped at the sound of someone greeting him causing the water to explode in his hands, and looked up at the person addressing him, blinking a few times he responded "U-um h-hello, uh who are you m-may i ask?" he replied curiously.

[Dante Ahti]

"My name's Dante, pleasure to meet you!" the boy grinned, holding out a hand to shake.

[Sanaki]

Sanaki looked at his hand before shaking it, it was going good so far which was highly unexpected but he wasn't going to complain "S-so brings you h-here" he said indicating the town, "Besides that its a nice day out" he added not wanting to sound dumb.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante chuckled, smiling brightly, "Just taking a walk to relax. Fixing the town really takes it out of you. Hopefully the town is alright for a while, I don't want everyone's hard work to go to waste. What brings you here, then?"

[Sanaki]

"Me? I'm out to well...talk to people" Sanaki shrugged "I got s-some advice to be more...s-social" he tried his best to make eye contact though it was harder then he imagined, "but, yeah the town is looking better now" he glanced around examining the buildings.

[Dante Ahti]

"Yeah! Hey, I think you're getting better at being social if you're able to talk to me then!" Dante grinned, sitting down next to the man.

[Sanaki]

"Yeah i guess so" he rubbed the back of his head "O-oh! and I'm Sanaki by the way" remembering he hadn't given out his own name, he looked at Dante for a bit for talking "You use magic as well it seems its easy to see in your eyes" he said calmly "Good to know I'm not the only one" he added chuckling.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante grinned, "Yeah, I'm really heavily based around magic. I got accepted into the university early, even though I'm underaged. It's pretty cool, I'm still one of the most advanced students in the class!"

[Sanaki]

"Ah very good, i happen to teach highly advanced healing magic there from time-to-time when they request me there, i've yet to be beaten in it" he said proud of himself, "Looks like we're both quite practiced in magic, but what got you into magic at first?" he asked becoming more curious then shy.

[Dante Ahti]

"Well, my family has always been heavily strong in it," Dante leaned back, looking at the sky and smiling. "So I was basically able to do simple magic before I could even walk. I really took an interest in it when I realized what I could do with it. I mean, at a young age I was able to beat older boys at it. People called me the 'prodigy of magic'"

[Sanaki]

"Your family AND being called a prodigy? my your quite lucky, I've always been wandering the world since a young age so i never had a family,except for my wolf Kumi, make sure you never forget the kindness they've shown you" he smiled, he loved hearing about people's lives even though his shyness kept him away from people, he loved to learn about them and their past.

[Dante Ahti]

"Oh, I definitely wont!" Dante grinned happily. "What places have you wandered to?"

[Sanaki]

"I've been all over the world it seems...i think i may have the book that i listed them in on me" he patted and searched his pockets before producing a small leather book that looked tattered and beat up from constant use; "There i think that should answer your question, i always made sure i wrote down the place i traveled too so i wouldn't get turned around" he handed the book over.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante took the book, flipping through the pages quickly, reading each place. "This is really interesting...there's a lot of places here, my friend...heck, I've barely been outside of Avaleur, besides when I died!" The boy laughed, closing the book and gently handing it back to Sanaki.

[Sanaki]

Sanaki tilted his head in confusion "Yes for the longest time wandering was my passion but if i heard correctly,you've died have you? that's not something you hear everyday that's for sure, may i ask how?" he thought maybe the sun was getting to him.

[Dante Ahti]

"Yes, did you ever hear about a massacre that happened in town? It was a while ago, almost a year maybe. The girl was half vampire, unable to control her powers. She was a friend of mine. Trying to save everyone, she came back to her sences for a few moments and stabbed herself. I used a forbidden and fairly unknown spell from my sisters book to give life to her. At the same time, it was my life I had given," Dante smiled.

"But a few months later she died in the tournament. And her lover, a demon, went to hell to bring her back. She refused to leave without me, and that is how her and I are alive today!" Dante grinned, clapping his hands together once and grinning at Sanaki.

[Sanaki]

"Oh that massacre? i heard about it people still whisper among each other about it, that's quite noble to save your friend even if it cost your life, but i guess it all worked out in the end so there is nothing to worry about" he smiled back "however don't be so hasty to throw away your life even if it's for a friend, some things are just meant to be."

[Dante Ahti]

"Hey, ask anyone who knows me. I don't know what it is, but I always have to help someone, no matter what," Dante grinned, shrugging. "I'm determined to help others. Friends, family, anyone really. It's just in my nature."
