A 'Magical' Encounter

[Sanaki]

Sanaki chuckled "I've met various people like you in my travels, most of them were the reason I'm here today i couldn't have gotten this far without their help, so i guess I'm glad your like them" he scratched the side of his head

[Dante Ahti]

"I'm glad that there are a lot of people out there like me in that sence, then!" Dante smiled, clasping his hands together. "You seem like a very interesting person, Sanaki, I really must admit that!"

[Sanaki]

Sanaki laughed "Thanks for saying so, your quite interesting yourself, I'm glad i met someone as friendly as you, also despite you being younger than me, you have a fair number of stories to tell"

[Dante Ahti]

"It's also funny, taking into fact that I've never left Avaleur!" Dante laughed along as well. Turning to Sanaki, Dante grinned, "Do you have any stories to tell?"

[Sanaki]

"Boy, if told you my stories we would be here for days on end but a lot have to deal with violence and revenge so it's somewhat hard to delve into them," Sanaki put his head down for moment recalling the events of his past "but if you would like to hear one anyway I'd be happy to oblige" he said raising his head back up smiling.

[Dante Ahti]

"Yes please! I havent heard a good story in a while," Dante grinned, looking at Sanaki and waiting patiently for his story to start.

[Sanaki]

((Gah! procrastination and me, I'm sorry! I've been so bad on stories as of late so this is not my best one ))

Sanaki stretched and adjusted his position before starting: "Alright i suppose this is my best one, So early in my traveling days i was alone and I'll tell you it was not as much fun as it was later on in life!,but regardless i was walking down a path till i came across this little pup of a wolf on it's side, i ran over and the poor thing was badly hurt, luckily i was learning how to heal so that is exactly what i did, it was still having trouble to recover still so i took the only option i could, i took it with me." he said rubbing the back of his head before continuing

"Now i know that's not the smartest thing to do and trust me MANY people voice their concerns on the matter, but nonetheless i went with it, and of course it got bigger, older and better over time; once it was well enough to stand living on its own i decided to let it run free even though i loved it like i would if it were my child, but believe it or not but it didn't wish to leave my side, so even though i was choking back tears i ran." Sanaki ran his hand across his face in order to hold back his own tears at the memory.

"So i didn't see it for a month or more and unfortunate for me i had been surrounded by bandits looking for money and blood, now i was fighting with all i had but these guys wouldn't quit till death and knew i was nearing the brink of the final dirt nap, as one got behind me and was about to run his sword through my chest he screamed in pain and fell dead behind him with a mouth and muzzle coated in blood was the wolf i had taken care of; now call it magic, fate, or love but i knew that she had followed me for all that time and protected me, and so we both teamed up and sent the bandits running for there mamas!" Sanaki laughed with the memory that was crystal clear to him.

"So after that i said my regret to leaving her for all that time, and i saw in her eye she forgave me, from that point on we both promised to remain together for as long as we could and became one hell of a pair, to the point where we are family and can pretty much read each others thoughts and have never left each other since, oh also we decided on the name Kumi a few years ago which was a process of biting and growling at other names till a happy bark at 'Kumi' so yeah there you go kiddo" Sanaki exhaled a long breath and looked at Dante "So yeah that's how i met my best friend Kumi" he waited for a response

(( It's alright, I don't mind, the wait was worth it! XDDD ))

"That's quite a story!" Dante grinned wide. "It's good that Kumi stayed with you then, isnt it? I would call that a true friendship. It is really cool, though, interesting how you two have grown to understand eachother so well. I hope I get to meet her someday!"

[Sanaki]

"Yeah we have a really good understanding, after all we've seen the world together" Sanaki laughed a little bit before adding "Well why not meet her now? though i going to have to fix my house again when i head back..." since Kumi had found a way out of the house by digging a hole through the basement up but that didn't matter;
he whistled two notes and sat back and waited, a few minutes later Kumi came bounding around the corner jumping into his lap which accidentally knocked him into the water, looking up from the water displeased "Yup this is my best friend Kumi" he said soaking wet.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante stared at the two for a few moments before laughing very loudly. "Ohh goodness, that was quite funny!" Dante grinned. "Hello Kumi! I'm Dante! It's nice to meet you!"

[Sanaki]

"Funny huh?, maybe i shou-" he was interrupted by Kumi's bark which was her form of a greeting, "yup that's her, she is more social then me that's for sure" Kumi barked again in agreement.

[Dante Ahti]

Dante laughed as he spoke, "Hopefully that changes with time! I've never really seen a wolf before, savor werewolves. They're really pretty!"

[Sanaki]

(sorry really lately ....alot of threads but thats mainly cause i was sick i'm sorry)

"Yeah got to talk to more people thats for sure! i'm sure Kumi can help with that right girl?" Kumi wagged her tail which turned more rapid at Dante's comment on wolves before pouncing on him and trying to lick his face as thanks "oh Kumi you suck up you" he said finally getting out of the fountain and trying to dry himself off with fire.

Dante laughed as the wolf licked his face, not falling over but practically holding Kumi. "You two seem like quite the pair!"

[Sanaki]

Sanaki looked at Dante for moment with a confused look on his face "A lot of people seem to say the same thing...then again i suppose its true, and Kumi get off the poor man before you drag him into the water or something" he pulled his coat off and set it to the side to dry; "So what magic are you currently studying? or best at i suppose" he asked sitting back down.

[Dante Ahti]

"Hmmm...best at, is probably attack. And defense. I'm quite the healer myself, and I've been learning how to fly with magic made out of pure wings," Dante smiled, setting Kumi down onto the ground gently.He sat beside the man as he pet Kumi's head. "Basically I'm studying at the university currently about the elements. Did you know that only elementals can use the pure elements, while other races can only use a bit of the elements power? For instance, a metal elemental can cover his whole body in pure tough metal, while as I could only do my fists with metal that is surely breakable after a few hits."

[Sanaki]

Sanaki raised his eyebrows at the mention of flying "flying with magic that's seems like a very useful thing to know...maybe i should be taking that class" he joked "I've always found it interesting on how elementals convert their entire bodies into a form of magic, however i guess if you grow up with it and a part of it yourself it's not that odd" he shrugged a little.
