Phillis couldn't resist. He had so many places he hadn't explored yet, but something about this church just kept calling him back. He gave into the sweet temptation.
It was like a new home to him. It was everything he loved in a place. Elegant, beautiful, cozy and it was somewhere that accepted him.
He walked into the church, he was nowhere near as hesitant as he'd been the first time. He was confident this time, and very accustomed to it. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes.

She sat, tired and broken, at the front row of the church. her head rested on the backing, eyes shut, with her arms hanging off. Namari's claymore was nowhere in sight; this was the only place she would not have her sword.
Someone walked into the church, she realized when she heard footsteps. She pay no attention, and ran a hand through her hair, her eyes still shut.

"Didn't think I'd see someone like you in a place like this." Phillis said, as he sat on the other side of the room, still close enough for the two to talk.

She nodded, smirking, "Can't blame you for that. If I were you, I'd believe the same." Namari paused, then added, "Though you look to be the kind of person to come here...you seem like the royal type."

Phillis was silent for a minute, surprised by her choice of the word 'royal.' He laughed awkwardly. "Yes, well, I would probably assume the same if I were you."

Namari turned her attention to the boy and nodded, smiling. "By the way, do you know a kid named Dante...?" Namari frowned, eyebrows furrowed. "The brat froze me to the ground for a third time, thinking I was gonna hurt him. I'm getting a tad bit pissed off."

Namari stared at Phillis for a bit, emotionless. "Cute?" she asked. After a few seconds, she stated again, "...cute?" She leaned back in her seat, and looked at the statue again. "...cute." She grinned widely.

"well, uh..." Phillis turned bright red at the question, he was speechless. He turned away, twiddling his fingers. "That sure is a nice statue up there." He said awkwardly, He suddenly felt uncomfortable due to Namaris teasing.

"Yeah...Peter...he loved the church in town, felt it was the only place he was accepted. Well, I never heard from him again after I left my country." she gulped, pulling a strand of hair behind her ears.
