"...do you think staying in the forest would help? Staying in your werewolf form help? And, Steele...if you loose it one night, I promise you I will do everything in my power to not harm you and to make sure you don't harm anyone. I promise. I'm sure you'll be able to fight this, but if by some chance all hope is lost I will do everything in my power to keep everyone safe. Including you," Walter did not look at the man. He knew that Steele probably did not want Walter to see him get teary-eyed. So, he looked around at the blood-covered walls as he spoke.

"Of course I'll help you Steele, you're my friend! Sure, we don't always get along, but what do you expect, both of our races are naturally violent and like to have power," Walter smiled, leaning back against the wall.
"And...I promise I won't tell Namari. But sooner or later she'll find out about it, I hope you know. When she does find out, it should be you telling her. And even when she knows, I'm sure she'll just be happy that you and her are together again."
Steele chuckled, Walter sure was different as a human. It was funny, whenever they were human they were friends, but whenever they changed they were enemies. "Ah' owe ye' me life' hinny. Ifin' it wasn't fir' ye', thee' guards would hev' killed me fir' sure. Ah' jus....didn't mean ti' kill thee guard..." He says looking at the guards mutilated body. "Ah' hope ye'll firgiv' me fir attackin' ye."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"Of course, Steele," Walter smiled. He was ignoring the pain in his shoulders, that was all the damage done really. "And you owe me nothing. It was a friend helping a friend. Besides, even if I hated your guts I'm still a knight. They broke the law, I had to defend you either way."
"As for killing him, you went feral. Everyone will understand. I'm almost positive by this point Mr. Ryan will be kicked out of the guards in no time, either," the demon sighed.
"Aye' tis' not Mr. Ryan ah'm worried aboot', there will always be people like him....it's thee pack ah'm worried aboot'....thee youngins at oor' camp ell' be wonderin' where we are...course ah'm sure Ranulf ell' be there ti' take care of em' till' ah' get oot' of here....Phillis still owes me..." He chuckled. He yawned, to his nocturnal sleep schedule it felt like 3AM. "Well Walter, ah' can't promise much, but ah'll try in find Denzel nd' bring her back."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Walter, surprised, raised an eyebrow. After a quick moment he smiled softly, "Thank you, Steele. I'd appreciate that. But, unless you're going overseas for some reason you probably wont find her. And as for the younger kids in your pack, I'm sure they will be okay."
Walter ran a hand through his hair as he thought. He then gave out a large grin as he spoke, "You know...if I had to guess, Namari's probably pissed at the two of us. I mean, two of her knights in jail? I think you're safe, but I'm sure she'll have my head once I'm out!"
"Have yer' head? Ah' jus' killed anotha' guard, IN JAIL." He laughed a little, even though he knew that poor guard's family would be devastated. "Geesh' tis' oor' duty ti' protect thee' people, nd' it seems moor' are gettin' killed everyday...on top of that ye' got tis' weird creature, ye know thee' creatures with thee' huge ears, long tails, nd' big feet? Anyway ye' got tis' guy goin' aroond' sayin' how King Phillis is failin' thee Avaleur people nd' how he should be thrown oot' of thee' throne...Ah' tell ye' that guy's goin' ti' mess aroond' nd' cause a barley. Then Namari will REALLY be pissed off throwin' a radge'."
"Are ye' talkin' about that weird fellow with the red hair and the weird eyes? Ya' know, the one orange and one green one?" Another werewolf, now human, says. This one was obviously a bloodline like Steele, and possibly childhood friend.
"Aye that's thee one." Steele replies. "Thee lad..er thing', speaks the truth though. Somethin' IS goin' bad in tis' city. I can't even go into the city with me' coins anymore." The other man said. "Yes' cause ye' definitely go into thee city anyway..." Steele sarcastically replies. "Says thee' guy who goes feral everytime he hears thee' word steak!" "Oi'! That was once ye' gowkless idiot! Nd' ti' be fair ah' hadn't eaten in days." Steele says. "Nd thee' time at the rain festival?" "Ah' was stabbed in thee freakin' back! Ye' would go feral too if ye' knew felt thee' stress ah' was unda'." "How aboot' thee' time when ye' were thirteen nd' it was yer' first matin' season nd' ye-" "Ye' swore ye' would neva' eva' talk aboot' that moment!" Steele's whole face was red with embarrassment. The werewolf chuckled and then looked at Walter. "Let's jus' say a teenage werewolf nd' a helpless female traveler should neva' go togetha'." He burst out laughing. "Enough! Shut up!" Steele barked but it did nothing to contain the werewolf's laughter.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Walter chuckled slightly. "I wouldn't worry too much, Steele. Although, I'm sure Namari would LOVE to hear that story!" the demon winked at the other werewolf.
Chuckling once more, he turned to Steele. "And who's the person talking shit about Phillis? I've never heard of em. What's his name?"
