"Good! Good! You're all doing great!" Namari grinned at the people. Most were older teens, but some were even older than the elf was. Namari had gone to the arena to find out that some new recruits needed a little bit more help settling in. So, she decided to help all of them practice. At the moment, they all held wooden swords as they practiced on dummies. It was entertaining to watch, they all had promise.
"Alright, keep going! Do it in the same order, slash left, slash sideways right, then hit them right on the top of the heads!" the woman called out, motioning the moves with her arm. She looked at her wrist as the trainees started, and smiled softly at the bracelet Steele had given her. I wonder when Phillis will decide on the werewolves fate... she thought, before putting her hand on her hip.
"Okay, thats it, keep going!" she inspected the trainees carefully, making sure they were all correct.
Roe silently watched from the top of the arena, watching the young elf instruct these men on their drills. When Roe was this young, he still remembered having his mother smack him around every time he messed up. He smiled, then decided to add a bit to the drill. Roe picked up a rock about the size of his big toe and hurled it at the calf of one of the soldiers. It made contact, and the man turned on the one next to him. Within seconds, the two were fist fighting.
"Well, let's see how you handle this one Namari." Roe whispered to himself.

The woman's eyebrows furrowed as she walked up to the men. "Alright that's enough! Both of you stop that, and leave it for a real fight!" She managed to step in between the two and grab them by the collars of their shirts, keeping them distant from eachother.
Namari sighed, looking between the two. Calmly but sternly, she asked, "What the hell is the issue? Hell, it can't be as bad as you're making it out to be. The arena is supposed to be something you use to calm yourselves. If you're fighting outside of it there really is no point. There are rules here, and I can't have you fighting out of a match unless it's practice. So please, enough of that."
Roe smiled to himself as she seperated the men. "Very nice Namari." He whispered to himself. He grabbed another couple of rocks and aimed for two men at the other side of the arena, then did the same thing. Except he hit one in the back of the head instead of the leg. Withing a few seconds, three men were brawling with others trying to seperate them. The one he hit in the leg realized it was just a rock and decided to stay out of it.

"Oh for the love of..." she muttered. Who the hell was throwing rocks at her trainees?
"Alright guys, cut it out!" she barked, stepping towards them and pulling one another off of eachother. Before they could lunge at eachother once more, Namari put her hand in a fist and spoke, "As I said before, I will kick you out if you continue to fight. There is no need for this, be gentleman! For goodness sakes, you are acting like children. And I shall treat you as such if you continue."
Roe picked up a fourth rock and lobbed it down onto Namari's shoulder. "It isn't very often men listen to a woman of another race!" He announced from the top of the arena.

Namari did not wince as the rock hit her shoulder. She only clenched her teeth. Thew elven woman turned around and looked for the source of the thrown rock as she spoke. "I honestly doubt that is the case! Besides, I am of high power. Of course people listen to me. So if I might ask..." Namari's eyes landed on the man that threw the rocks. She raised an eyebrow. "...Roe, please stop throwing rocks at my trainees."
"Ah, but it's so fun Namari!" He announced. With that, he lept down and rolled into the landing so he didn't break anything. He loved being an elf! One of the men started swearing at him and challenged him to a fight. "You don't wanna fight me. I refuse to lift a fist to somebody as ill-trained as you men. Try again in, oh, twenty years or so." He said. Then he turned to Namari. "And I meant no offense, I was just curious on how you would handle a few brawls. You handled it well, I must say." The man was still swearing. Annoyed, Roe turned to him. "Listen here human! I'm well over your experience level and am far stronger and skilled than any here! In fact, the only person I'd even lift a FINGER at is HER!" He said, pointing at Namari. "So shut the hell up and get back to training!"

"They're just ill-tempered men, Roe, no need to get in an argument. Just ignore him. Everyone, back to work! no more fighting, next person to try it is kicked out!" she barked out her orders. Everyone went back to training, and she turned to Roe. "So what brings you here?"
"Heard you were here, and quite frankly I actually like you. Most elves are complete asses, even the nicer wood elves. You aren't and beings as how you are the first elf I have met in over three millennium, I figured I'd stop by. Plus, a one armed elf ordering around a group of men is very amusing. Tell me, where'd you learn to use the claymore?" He asked, changing the topic completely.

Namari raised an eyebrow, but it lowered once more and she chuckled. "I learned swordsplay at my old home, since I was to be queen my father wished of me to learn many things, such as that. It was one of the only classes he made me take that I enjoyed. And once I got older I bought my claymore, and my teachers tried teaching that to me. But they did not teach me much, I moved soon after I purchased it."
"So mostly I just taught myself. I knew how to use it with one arm, but once I lost my arm I gave my claymore to the king and got a new sword," she pointed to the sword at her side. "But how I got my new claymore, a friend gave it to me. So, I taught myself how to use it with my one hand once more, to make sure I knew that I was okay with using it," Namari smiled.
Roe examined the claymore at here side. It truly was a weapon meant to cause damage.
"Where is this friend? He seems... Interesting. Not many people would give such a weapon to anybody. Even if they happen to be elvish royalty that ran away from home." Roe chuckled at that. She was a unique elf.
Roe furrowed his brow. "Died in the war, huh? Well, that doesn't seem right. I hope it was a fitting end, though, especially if he gifted you with a blade that can cut through most things. He must've been a good one."
"A general of some sorts then. And yes, there was the one that trapped my people and enslaved me. There was also a few when my people were still allied with the wood elves, so I was obligated to assist them in their ongoing struggles against the dark elves. Other than that, no. Mostly one on one or one on one-hundred. Nothing too spectacular." He replied.
"If I have to be, yes. Most of the time I just dodge and block, then hit them one time in a certain place and watch them go down. I've drawn my sword less than three-hundred times in twenty-thousand years, actually."

"Hmm, quite interesting," she smiled at the elf. "What places have you traveled to, anyhow? Ever been to my home country? I'd be surprised if you didn't, its basically only elves there, and it's been that way since anyone set foot on the land."
"I've been there many times, just not when any of the current elves living there were alive. Maybe four generations ago, when I was trying to find allies among my cousins. It didn't work so well."
