"My family have never been one to help others without gaining something in return," Namari frowned and scratched the back of her head. "Even in the past. I'm sure the first people in my family were good rulers, it just got worse from there. I apologize in my families name then, Roe." the elven woman bowed slightly. It was only polite. When she looked at the blood elf again she smiled.
"Once my parents are no longer the rulers, though, my little sister will be more kind. Although, I believe that may be her downfall. But the people love her none the less."
Roe furrowed his brow. "You have a sibling? That is rare among our peoples... When she is ruling I may pay her a visit if she is as kind as you say. Kind rulers are always the shortest lived, unless they have good advice." He said. "And as for the apology, none is needed. You are a different elf of a new generation. Their sins are theirs and theirs alone, but thank you anyways." Roe smiled at her. Over the years, his elvish sense of right and wrong had been replaced by pure logical analysis. Another advantage of being old.

"Don't mention it," Namari chuckled, brushing some hair out of her face. "I do hope my sister is protected well, though. She should be. Besides, I can't go back there to help her. My father and my people would automatically name me the rightful ruler. That I might be, but it doesn't mean I want to be!"
"Fair enough, but should they attempt to name you the rightful ruler you may have no choice but to disinherit yourself from your family, as you will have to fill in otherwise."
