Roland slowly made his way up the mountain using an older spear as a walking staff. He had beads of swear on his brow that would occasionally run down his face and drip into the dry ground. He wasn't even wearing his hot and heavy armor but the heat was so fierce and the sun's rays so heavy that it caused him to get a real workout.
Who was the nutball that said he should take up meditation?! "Ya, real relaxing..." he huffed out as he walked, "Now I now why they all look so tired... They ARE!"
He had been walking for hours as he wanted to at least get a good mediation spot. Something about good vibes, all he wanted was some shade.

Free, at last. Walter soared through the air, laughing, finally free from his cell. His arrest for attacking Phillis was dismissed. He was luckily still a knight, and although at that moment Phillis and him did not really see eye to eye, Walter was just happy. He was allowed to use his demon abilities now, hence the wings.
He did all sorts of flips and tricks, excited to be in the breeze. Then, he spotted a fellow knight. With a big grin, he dived down. "Roland! Hey!" the demon shouted. He recognized Roland, even without his armor on.
The demon landed in front of Roland with a grin. "Hello my friend! How are you doing? Jeez, you don't look so good. Too hot or something?"
Roland stopped and wiped the sweat from his face, "Ya maybe a bit!" he laughed, "It's ok though if my map is right and the plants aren't lieing then in getting close to water."
Roland looked at Walter, he was in his demon form but very... Energetic and hyper, a bit weird for a demon. "Happy to be out of jail?" he asked. If was the only thing he could think of to cause him such pleasure to change his whole demon attitude.
"Trying to get away from the madness of the town and the headaches of the recruits. It seems that unless I take up meditating somewhere distant in the wilderness I may never get time to relax." he laughed, it may have all sounded a bit exaggerated but truthfully at this time Roland was never without someone to train, watch, teach, critic, help, or just being clung to be one of the little town children.

"I think you're the only loved knight in town. Trust me, it's no surprise you're stressed! I wouldn't worry too much, its right after a war. It will calm down eventually," Walter looked at Roland once more with a grin on his face.
Roland huffed as he decided to carry on with his hunt for a good spot. He wouldn't however give his friend the cold shoulder, "You are welcome to join me, Walter. And all us knights have our places in the eyes of the people I suppose, they are ever shifting though."
"Ya so far it isn't mine either," he said in disgust. He was sweaty and even more exhausted than when he was before. It wasn't that he minded getting sweaty and tired, just not when his goal was to be relaxing and feel rejuvinated.
Roland stopped and turned a bit red in embarrassment, "I am not sure, I think it just kinda hits you...." he then began to laugh, "I know too much about war! And not enough about the other things, like this. But I do believe you just sort of sit and let nature call out to you, let it call on your spirit, or chi, of chakra, or whatever and let your soul answer back."

"...I don't even know if demons have souls..." Walters eyebrows creased even more. He really had no clue. "Well, hopefully. I don't want to not get to experience things just because I'm different!"
"And if that is the case than I am sure you will just experience it different as well." he said reassuringly. How could he have forgotten about that, to mention something like a soul when he knew very well demons may not have them.

Walter grinned. Roland seemed to be trying to make him feel better. "If I can't ahh well, I'll just pretend to meditate!" he winked at his friend. "Are we getting close?"
"Well, these plants that are appearing now are pretty dependent on a constant amount of water so I would say we should reach some sort of water, be it falls or a creek, soon."

"Great! I feel like I need to rest and stretch my wings and legs soon, let alone I'm sure you must feel even worse!" the man shrugged as he looked on up ahead.
Sure enough, a small stream appeared that ran down the mountain formed from the meting of snow on the top of the mountain. It was crystal clear and probably quite chilly. Roland put just a bit more pop in his step as he became eager to, first drink, and second finally meditate. "Oh I can not wait for this," he exclaimed.

"To relax or meditate?" Walter chuckled, keeping in step with Roland. He found the sight quite beautiful, actually, and he too was excited. Hell, he was just excited to reach there and relax. He loved looking at places and examining them.
