Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
"The island he lives on cost quite a bit to get to. And they are by no means rich. It's ok though we communicate with our letters almost every week." he smiled thinking about some of the last one's contents. "How about you? Do you still talk with your family or friends?"

"I speak with Death once a week maybe, I usually visit at least each month. And back in Cresthunt I am quite popular, so I have many 'friends'. I do have a few very good friends there though, but nothing compares to my friends in Avaleur!"
Roland smiled since he considered Walter a friend he took that as a compliment, "Well that is good that you still see them there. I would run myself into dept if I tried to see my family once a month." he laughed, "Heck I would probably be on the sea constantly!"
"They are studying the properties of levistone in hopes to find a away to stabilize its powers. They sent me back a chunk of the stone when we fought for them and now me and Seth are also trying to unlock its abilities. As of now we have figured out that the higher concentration of air forced on it the higher it goes, as well as air temperature. So we where thinking about a type of castle door that would only open if you used a wind key or wind magic. It would just raise up. And it would be impossible to know what was opening the door unless you knew." he smiled again, "Oh, sorry I didn't mean to rant on like that."

"It's quite alright, it seems like a very interesting idea...hopefully they are able to do it," Walter yawned, but smiled none the less, looking up towards the darkening sky.
It wasn't until Walter's yawn that Roland noticed it was dark. He must have been meditating for a lot long than a half hour. "I guess it is getting pretty late," he got up and gathered his things and sat down on a rock where it was dry. He didn't want to be wet when the sun went down.

"Ahh, yes, but that is when everything gets a little bit more interesting!" Walter was a demon, and was in the pure dark in Cresthunt. So naturally night time was a bit closer to home than the day.

"You'd be surprised," Walter chuckled. He watched the sky as he spoke, leaning against the cooling grass. "My people are just beginning to awaken now."
