It was right after their argument, and Namari was going through the woods to get to Benny. She needed to relax. After the fight with Phillis, people moved quickly out of her way as she walked down the streets of Avaleur. Many knew the expression she wore, and that expression was of a very large anger.
"Stupid Phillis...god damn idiot he is!" she shouted. But someone heard her as she spoke. She was in the deepest part of the woods, where Benny would go to hunt, and she heard a twig snap. She stopped and quickly drew her sword. She heard thumping noises as something large ran towards her. Before she knew it, a full-grown dragon burst through the trees and almost tackled her. She lay on her back as the dragon's face was directly above hers, it breathed heavily. She grinned, "Hello Benny!"
She pet the golden dragon's head and he seemed to smile, getting off of her. She stood up and continued petting the dragon. Benny rubbed his head against Namari's body, almost toppling her over. He was very strong, and well-trained. She could ride him now, which was also a very fun experience. Namari was the first living thing Benny saw, so in his eyes she was his mother.
"I'm sorry I haven't visited enough, it's been so busy after the war. I know you wanted to fight, too, but we still need to practice fighting together," Benny nodded in agreement. Namari had taken up using the magic she had to cast long-distance spells, that she could use from Benny's back. Since her kind were dragon riders in the past, she believed that her and Benny could do it. Namari leaned up against a tree and sat down. "For now let's relax, I had a long day," she sighed. Benny seemed to frown, and lay down next to her. He rested his very large head on her lap, and fell asleep. The elf chuckled, and pet his head.
