"There are many wild beasts up there that force us to keep up our guard, but even us elementals cannot fend off a pack of rabid wolves. We lose one or two a year on average. Because of those damned fire elementals." Myra said that last sentence with pure venom in her voice.

"The fire elementals aren't that bad...they just fear change," Jordan frowned, and shrugged. "I'm sure we could convince them to let you all come back home."

"None of us would return even if they offered. We are our own people, separate but still bound by our lineage. They didn't fear change, they feared the power. We were born with it, a special gene in our genetics that gave us the ability. They exterminated us all when we were shown to be stronger than even the above average elementals, without even a glimmer of remorse. Ice and metal were the only two tribes that opposed the near genocide, and even helped the remainder of us to escape. The other tribes were just as frightened as the fire tribe." Myra said all of this as she ate the apple to the core. With a sigh, she incinerated it into ash and scattered it to the wind.
"So what're you doing out here, um, wow... I don't remember your name." Myra said, slightly embarrassed.
"Oh! I can help with that!" Myra exclaimed. With that, she got down on her knees and summoned fire to her hands. She put them over the lake and two pillars of fire erupted into the water. Within a few seconds, she had heated a small portion of the lake up, leaving a hole of cool water near the shore. The fish caught in the heat fled towards the nearest source of coolness- the small circle. Myra sent a small shock of electricity into the water and controlled the flow to only affect the circle, and about twenty fish floated to the surface of the water. They weren't dead, only shocked by the electricity.
"There ya go!" She said, noticing he had nets with him.

"Oh! Why, thank you my friend!" Jordan grinned, netting the fish. He then pulled out a few buckets from his large bag and filled them with water by melting his ice. He placed all of the fish in the buckets, and they swam in circles. "Thank you very much, I'd try that using my water abilities but I do like hunting the old fashioned way."
Myra laughed. "Well, if you froze the lake in a circle I could just electrocute them all in the water. But if I had my bow I could get a few by bow fishing for you. Maybe, I can help you from now on?" She asked, hoping the boy said yes. He was the only kind one besides her father, as far as males. She liked him so far.
"They wouldn't like that. They aren't used to fish. The only reason I know how to do that is because my dad showed me in a small pond we had. But I'd love to work with you!" She said, absolutely enthusiastic about it.
"Well, they'd probably just burn the plant stuff. I'm one of few who can control their body temperature, but I'm thankful for that. But as for the forest creatures if I had my old bow I'd be able to help, but I lost it on the way here. Oh, but thank you for the offer Jordan! The only thing my people are really lacking on is people." She said

"Hopefully you gain more then," Jordan chuckled. "I could give you a bow if you want? I make them out of wood, I try making them like the elves do. They look quite lovely if i do say so myself." Jordan was always helping those around him, as best as he could. So he was very willing to help the girl in any way he could.
Myra furrowed her brow. "Well, I know how to make them, it's just that I need certain things to make a bow I can infuse my power with. Yew wood, dragon heartstring, which I have, and then a blessing from a dragon. With those, I can launch heat seaking arrows, flaming arrows, electric arrows, or i could launch a lighting bolt. The possibilities are endless! But, I can also help by shocking the muscles in forest creatures for you. Very easy to catch when they can't move." Myra chuckled at that.
"So, why do you wanna help an elemental from a different tribe? That isn't usual, ya know."

Jordan grinned, then shrugged. "I don't know. I do not believe there should be any ill-fate towards any elements. Or any race. We're all the same, ya know?"
"Well, equals I guess. But nobody and nothing is the same. However, you are the first ice elemental I've met and I have to say that so far I like you." Myra said with a smile.

"Really? Well, I'm glad to hear that! My father's an ass though, which sucks since he's the leader of Hielo," Jordan let out a huff. He shrugged none the less, and smiled. "But I know a lot of good ice elementals."
"Well I'd like to meet them someday, but maybe when you're father isn't the leader." Myra said. Then something moved near the forest line. A dear! Instinctively, Myra sent a small bolt of electricity and shocked its muscles into paralysis. "Gotcha!"

Jordan smiled, "Nice hit my friend!" He then pulled off the bow from his back, and grabbed an arrow. He aimed it quickly at the dear, and it landed dead in it's heart.
