*Name: Theno
*Age: 21

*Appearance: Theno is only 5'8" tall, so he is a fairly short man. He wears simple pants and a red shirt when he isn't in battle, but when he is in battle he summons a full length black robe with long sleeves and a hood on the back. When he wishes to remain unknown, he puts the hood up and it shrouds his face in darkness.
*About: Theno is an outgoing youth, wanting nothing more than to have fun and protect those he cares about. To that point, he constantly trains himself to make himself stronger and better just to protect his loved ones. He is, however, alone in a sense. He is the only person he knows of that can use light and dark magic in their purest forms. He thinks it has something to do with the weapon he can summon, a sword that has changed slightly over the years.
*Weakness/Fear: Theno is very unexperienced when it comes to fighting even though he fights well. He also has had to figure out his own powers, so he is rather limited in what he can do so far. His real weakness, however, is his willingness to protect his friends. He will gladly disable himself in order to save one of them, so any he fights could use this to their advantage.
Location: Hollow
Weapons: A sword that he can summon. Nobody has been able to explain what it does or what it means for him to have it. It has changed over his life, usually recurring with an important event. Right now, it has a simple handle with a guard that has three prongs, each at a right degree angle pointing down with a dull point to better protect his hand. The blade has a very slight curve and it is very slender. It has a slightly serrated edge at the tip to cause more damage to weapons and flesh alike, and the blade is a whopping four feet long. This makes the weapon almost as long as he is tall, but it still weighs nothing to him. This makes it easy and difficult to wield at the same time.
Magic: He uses light and dark magic in their purest forms, but only has about four spells for each respectively. He has had to invent each, but he has discovered that if pushed too far he gets an alternate form. It covers him in yellow light and allows him to levitate above the ground. It also surrounds his sword in light, giving it another foot and a half in length. It increases the power of his light attacks while infusing light into every stroke of his sword. This form is extremely difficult to maintain for longer than a few minutes, however, and he is training it to last longer. He doesn't know if he has a similar form for darkness or not, but he thinks his training will eventually reveal it if it exists. But he can only get so far by training himself.
History: He doesn't remember much from before when he was fifteen, knowing only his name and that he has a unique sword. He constantly hunts for clues to his past, spending the last six years in Hollow. He is a blank slate for now, but who knows what the future will reveal to him.

Aww man! Anyways, update: This is a list of Theno's spells, to give people an idea.

Light's Fury: hundreds of balls of golden magic erupted from the tip of his blade and made their way quickly to the ground. When they made contact with something, they would expand rapidly to thirty feet in diameter and explode soon afterwards, sending shrapnel in every direction. Usually it killed whoever he was fighting against with the magic bursts, but the shrapnel usually did them in.

Wave of Envy: A massive u shaped blade of light is launched at high speeds at the enemy. It is huge, twenty feet in diameter and fifty feet high, and it has a slight homing ability.

Light Fang: A small blade of light extends off of the tip of his sword at a curve, making it look like a fang is at a right degree angle of his sword. It is used to puncture enemy's.

Small Passion: Like wave of envy, except it is many small u shaped projectiles. Very good homing, but they don't do much damage by themselves. Should every single one hit, though, it does about half the damage as Wave of Envy.

Light Speed: His ultimate attack, it covers him in light. Actually, read his character description. It's the part about his light armor, and when he fights with it he is very fast and strong with physical attacks. Light based attacks are stronger in this form, while darkness cannot be used at all.

Dark Rain: A ball of dark energy is launched into the sky, parting the clouds and sending a large rain of meteors made of condensed dark magic make their way down to the enemy. Very difficult to dodge, and it does a high amount of damage if the enemy gets caught in its field of destruction. However, it takes up fully a quarter of Theno's total magic reserves, so it is more of a quick finish or a last resort.

Eternal Darkness: Theno extends dark magic in all directions into a sphere. It makes the inside of it pitch black, and nobody can get out of it via teleportation or through the walls. Theno can see inside of it, but not the enemy. At least, not without help.

He also has some other spells these are his major ones. The smaller ones are general ones, like a ball of light or dark magic launched at you, a single blade of light, etc. Use your imagination if you fight him.
