Rez limped around the dock trying to pick the boat that would be his for awhile, he was still getting used to having no leg, it sucked.
He lost balance for a moment but used a bit of wind to stabilize himself. Rez remembered everything, but had lost nearly all of it, now he just wanted to get away, and find out who he would become now. He would miss Avaleur, but not too much, he would see her again.

Rez limped toward the start of the dock, his wooden peg leg clicking as it hit the dock. He was headed to where you could buy boats and ships and possibly recruit crew. Depending on the boat he would be able to buy he would perhaps need a crew. He sighed, a little sad he had decided not to say his goodbyes to any of his friends, but it would be easier that way...
Ivil had just finished waving his goodbyes to his old ship-mates a small sack of coins secured to his belt, as he took a stroll down the docks "Finally, no more Paineston for me" he sighed walking further till resting his back against a couple of nearby stack of boxes he stared out into the sea, it's cerulean waves almost hypnotizing tempting him to go back on the old ship in hopes of sailing against them once more.
His trance was broken by on odd sound causing him to turn his head to identify the noise, wood on wood no don't about that and it wasn't uncommon in a harbor, people always checking their supplies in case of stowaways sneaking in...or making sure their still in there for that matter; his eyes and ears quickly caught sight of the noisy man and Ivil did his best to stifle a laugh, give the man a hat, a parrot, and poke out one of his and you had a storybook pirate! he soon regained his composure and shouted out "Ye' looking for something? or ye' just strolling?".
((Sorry way to much typing for a simple introduction))
Rez turned around to see the man leaving against the cargo crates. Judging by his rougher appearance and accent, he either basically lived at the docks or he was a sailor. He limped his way over not wanting to yell. "I'm here on business, going to buy a ship and take off to wherever the wind sends me. Know anything about it?" he asked. His shoulder was still bandaged from where he had lost his arm, cuts still somewhat fresh on his face. The two probably looked like pirates! Not just were.
Ivil's eyes lit up at the mention of sailing again "Ye buying a ship aye? well good to know cause ye won't find a soul who know more about the brutal sea than I!" He exclaimed while shamelessly boasting, he crossed his arms before noticing that the man he was speaking too would not be able to copy his movements seeing as he was short an arm "I don't think ye noticed yet but, ye seem to be missing an arm there" he pointed out before glancing down "And an leg to boot, ye think you can still brave the waters? might get tricky for ye" he asked somewhat staring at the damaged man.

Rez himself knew all there was to know about the sea, but he was not foolish, much of it was invalid or negated on the actual sea. This man's knowledge of it would come in total handy.
Rez slightly chuckled, "I ain't no sissy don't you worry. A few weeks it may take for me to fit the feel for it, but after that I'll be fine. So hows about I offer you a position on my crew? I could use someone of your knowledge and skill on the boat." Rez could feel the man had much potential, much of it already unlocked, the rest he would possibly unlock once he saw if he was a deserving person. He didn't just unlock everyone's potential, that would be dangerous.
Ivil laughed at the man's confidence which reminded him of when he was first getting on a ship claiming he will adjust quickly despite the captain's doubts he let him on, but people always adapt which made the man in front of him no different, "Alright then ye best get to adjusting quickly now don't get overboard, i doubt ye can swim short two limbs; also I was waiting for ye ta ask that question, I'll gladly join ye crew, I be Ivil Redliin just let me know what to lift there Capt." Ivil held his hand though he noticed quickly it was the wrong one and switched.

"You can help me pick out a ship'" he smiled, "Now I know all the pros and cons on paper but I want the advise from someone who really knows." he explained.
Ivil looked at his unshaken hand and shrugged it off 'no one can say i wasn't being polite' he thought to himself, the ships that were currently on sale the ships consisting in size and wood for the most were large which always commanded dominance in the sea but always got the most attention which made Ivil question something, what were they even going to do on the open seas? better late than never to ask right? "Oi capt? what are we even going to be doing out there? i best know ahead of time before i pick aye?" he adjusted his bandanna as he spoke.
((sorry for my overly late response i took a few too many 'naps'))
((lol its fine, ugh I feel like such a jerk I missed the hand shake lol oh well))
Rez pondered this thought for a moment. "Whatever is needed I suppose, which technically well classify it as piracy. So to further answer your question, everything and nothing." he chuckled wondering if the man would understand. When Rez was finished Ivil will have a strong head to match his body. If he could teach him anyway. Not saying the man was stupid but there was always room to improve and something told Rez his mind could improve greatly, but that was just according to stereotype, he would learn if this hypothesis was true with spending more time with the lad.
Ivil cocked his head at the statement, somewhat understanding what the captain was talking about, or at least thinking he understood it he assumed he did and carried on " Er, alright capt. then let me takes a look" Ivil eyed over each ship at the dock giving some 5 minutes and others 2 seconds, sometime giving some a few knocks or a critical eye examining each detail, finally arriving to a conclusion he smiled broadly and yelled back "Oi! capt. this ones looking good!".
It stood 5 other ships away it wasn't decorated, had no embroidered words, or anything to display high value, it took a normal look with nothing special something people would easily overlook, it was nether a huge ship nor was it a small one, the wood on it looked somewhat new displaying that it wasn't patched or worn "she been waiting for a while it looks like" Ivil commented looking up and down at it, the ship was...simple in his words and that's what he loved about it nothing special yet he eyes beamed in delight like a child in a candy store.
Rez smiled, he liked the simplicity and still dominance it seemed to have. "Alright!" he tossed a sack of coins to Ivil, there was a good amount more than needed for the ship. "Go and buy it, the rest is yours. Think of it as commissions. I'll board the ship and get ride of any unnecessary cargo and find out what else we will need to buy," he began to limp towards the ship. He had a great feeling about this already!
"A-aye Capt right away!" Ivil said as the bag of coins flew towards him, luckily he managed to catch it, it would have been unfortunate if the money had fallen into the waters, any lad who had done that in the past was most often found dead the next day.
After an hour of bartering over the ship with the price constantly rising and falling, deals being proposed, and little white lies with subtle promises of death on both ends Ivil trudged his feet back towards the ship, he had managed to get a better deal but when they arrived back in town all drinks would be on him, "I'll never try bartering again, no man should ever hav' to talk so much" he sighed; as he boarded the ship he called out to Rez "Oi capt! we got her now ye just hav' to name her!".
The door to the captain's quarters flung open and Rez walked out, his leg clicking in the floorboards of the ship. "Leviathan, she will be known as the that from now on." he looked out at the blue waters, "everything square with harbor? Are we set to embark? I got the rum, food, sails, rum, and just about everything else." he smirked.
Ivil was halfway to pulling out his twin swords when he realized it was Rez sighing in relief he sheathed them , "Leviathan aye? sounds about as good a name as any" he replied trying to keep up with the barrage of questions "Yes, yes, alright....you sure you haven't dipped into the rum a little early Capt?" he let out a hearty laugh at his own answer before composing himself once more, "yes we are ready to leave any time just give the word" Ivil quickly mounted the crow's nest, the water's were good and calm now was the best time to head out.
Rez chuckled, "Nah I haven't touched it yet, just got extra. Alright, prepare to make way for Lyicain!" he shouted up to Ivil as he pulled out the sail and began to strap it to the mast.
"Aye Capt!" Ivil quickly scouted for any incoming or out going ships that would cause problems, may get in the way, or cause a crash, though the thought made him chuckle some what not even five seconds out and already sinking though....he had seen it happen...though they probably went a little 'overboard' about it.
Checking that the sail was tied in right he glanced back towards he last place he touched ground on, a shame he didn't catch a look round' town, as he went to turn back around a glint on the harbor caught his eye and then made them widen Paineston guards! how did they here so fast?! Ivil ducked down a little but hopefully not enough to rise caution from the captain; oh well they won't be able to catch him now will they? Ivil merely smirked.
((sorry i lost internet for a good while and i'm a little slow))

Rez looked over at where Ivil had looked and ducked. He smirked, the fact that he had a 'fan club' reassured Rez. "Must have been doing something right." he called up chuckling.
The captain raised the anchors and then they were off. Using a bit of wind magic to get them going faster sooner.
Ivil snapped out of staring at the guards hoping for them to kneel over and die suddenly when he heard the capt calling, "Aye, a little too well i suppose" he replied. Grinning Ivil watched as the guards shrunk until they were almost out of view leaving him to rest back and look forward to a new crew and new chapter of his life.

Once they reached Lyicain they would be able to purchase all the neccissary gear and pick up a crew. There there would be people diein to see the world, not to mention some of the best products money could buy. May see a doctor there and get a much better peg leg, maybe a metal one rather than wood. Oh the possibilities seemed endless. And ass he looked over at the horizon, sea at the bottom, sky at the top, everything truly seemed magnificent. Finally freedom.
