"No, I know everything." Phillis sighed, blowing a piece of hair out of his face. "I just prefer to remain ignorant, even if only in faith."

"It was not entirely what you think Phillis, a seal is easily forged when you go through the right people."

"I don't care anymore. It's over." Phillis shrugged. "No hard feelings. I'm dead now."

That was one way to think of it... Maybe Phillis was happy it happened, perhaps he hated being king. He went off his hunch, "You aren't totally upset with what happened are you?"

"Not really, no." Phillis answered honestly. " It's sort of an opportunity to be free again. Parts of it suck, yeah, but I can't be a good king to Avaleur because I truly am not loyal to Avaleur. I would have betrayed them eventually. It's better things happened this way."

The attempt on Phillis was most likely because they figured he wouldn't betray Avaleur so this news shocked him a bit. "Well then I guess I am happy for you." he chuckled not knowing what to say.

Phillis laughed. The first time he had in awhile. It sort of hurt to laugh actually. Well, physically, at least. His stab wounds were still pretty big. "Why, thank you."

"So what do you do now, besides dress horribly, eat horrible, and smell...horribly," he didn't see how this was any better.

"Aha." Phillis laughed, rolling his eyes. " Living the dream, eh? It's not all bad though. I've mostly been focusing on recovering before I leave Avaleur and then I can stop wearing these nasty clothes."

Xeon raised an eyebrow, "And where will you go?" he asked.

[Phillis Von Christ]

Phillis shrugged. "Doesn't matter. I'm welcome just about anywhere except for Paineston and Avaleur."

Xeon smiled softly and sadly, "I suppose that is right, should you not be at the docks then?" he asked.

"Too risky." Phillis laughed, an empty laugh. "I don't know how I'm going to do it, but I'll manage."

"No, risky is traveling through these wildernesses. Trust me, give a pirate some money at the docks and you will be gone much faster and with much less risk."

"Are you sure?" Phillis asked. Although everything seemed risky at this point.

Xeon nodded, "Very certain, just act as though the money you are giving them is all you have left and they will take it with pleasure thinking they have robbed you. But if you don't give them 'everything' they could end up taking everything."

Phillis shrugged. "There's still a few things I'm a bit attached to here. I don't really want to leave forever, you know."

Xeon nodded completely understanding, "Oh yes than pirates are completely out of the question then. Something else will have to be arranged."

"It's fine for now. Don't worry about it." Phillis waved his hand, as if making all his problems float away. "I'll figure something out on my own. I usually do. It won't be for awhile anyways."

Xeon patted the boy on the shoulder, "Well I am so glad to see you are alright. You have no idea how upset I was. But perhaps it will be best if I forget I saw you, take care Phillis," he nodded.
