Repairing Bonds ((private rp: Knights and Crux))

Roland was the first to arrive to the town halls gathering chamber, he was early as usual. It was quite cool inside despite being so hot outside so the choice to have the gathering here was smart.

Xavier the new knight had told him that there would be a gathering repair bonds with the Crux, he hadn't even known bonds had been damaged, so now he waited.

Xavier entered with the Crux, it had taken a while to find them but he had done it. He brought them into the town hall where a dining table was set up for them to much on the large variety of food that was on it. He turned to the Crux, "Here you are, I am sure you know Roland already, Her Lady Namari will be here any minute, as well as the other knights I am sure." he said as he bowed slightly.

Roland couldn't help but smile at his friend when he entered it felt as though it had been forever! He was excited to talk with him and possibly invite him to a friendly eating competition.

[Ryn]

Ryn entered the town hall, it was a relief to feel the cool air. This was by far Avaleur's hottest day this year. Ryn looked around, it was strange, they'd been invited by the Queen of Avaleur into townhall for a reason he did not know.
He looked over the table, a huge feast of gourmet food. It began to make Ryn think, why all the hospitality?
Ryn looked at a dark corner of the ceiling for a moment, his long tail twitched, and then he presumed to look at the table full of food.
Walking with Ryn of course were his most trusted officers, Nat, Vex, and Leo.
They were all well dressed.
Vex had blue stripes instead of black. Leo looked exactly like Ryn only he was not as athletic and his hair was spikey, he was Ryn's cousin.
Walking next to Leo was a small male Crux that looked to be in it's teens. It eagerly looked around both very nervous and excited.

Ryn finally noticed Roland, one of his best friends. A big smile came across his face,
"Give a man a spear and he becomes a warrior, give a warrior a lion and he turns it into a war machine, but give a kingdom young knight from Tetra and he becomes it's greatest knight!" Ryn laughed before giving Roland a friendly hug. It'd been months since they last have seen each other.
"Roland how have you been, it is great to see you again. You remember Nat, Vex, and my cousin Leo and-"
The little Crux poofs right in front of Roland and begins shaking his hand and talking very fast.
"Commander Roland, if you want me to call you that, let me just say that it is a huge honor to finally meet you in person, i mean i've seen you before but I just never talked to you, i mean i would have talked you don't get me wrong it's just that you were always so busy with saving the town, i mean what you did in the battle against the god Goria was some of the best work I have ever seen, i mean i know im only 14 and haven't seen much but-" Leo shoves the Crux to the side.
"Okay and you're done....sorry about him he's supposed to be my shadow for a week and it" He looks at the Crux "Has NOT been pleasant."
The little Crux looks down.
Nat clonks Leo over the head.
"Now look what you've gone and done, you've upset the boy." She turns to Roland.
"Very nice to see you again."
Vex simply nods to Roland, as if he is unimpressed by him and is above it all.
"To what do we owe this honor to?" Nat asks.
"Oh she practiced all night trying to say that." Leo says holding his head from where Nat hit him.
"Can it you!" She says.
Vex sits at the table looking over all the food, still acting like he isn't impressed.
"It's okay I guess...." He says taking a napkin and tucking it in to be proper.
Ryn facepalms..."You guys...."
"I'm just saying if you're going to go to a fancy dinner you could try to not talk like woman who just read a book on dinner speaking for dummies."
"WHAT'D YOU SAY!?" She says getting angry and pulling on Leo's hair.
"Aieee ow ow ow I'm sorry I'm sorry..." Leo whimpers in pain.
"That's better..." Nat releases him.
"Oh...to what do we owe this honor to..." Leo mocks Nat flopping around.
"OH THAT IS IT!" Nat punches Leo right in the stomach.
Leo falls right to the floor.
The little Crux bursts out laughing while Vex picks up a fork as if he doesn't know which ones the correct fork to use.
"You guys....." Ryn shakes his head and facepalms.

[Walter Grace]

Walter held in a laugh as he walked through the door. He placed a hand on Ryn's shoulder and grinned, "Hello my friend! It's been a while," looking around at the Crux, and Ryn's expression, Walter tried to hold in his laughter more.

"No worries. You guys wont get in trouble, I'm sure. You're just acting normal!" Walter grinned, sitting down at a seat, yawning slightly.

Roland chuckled at it all. I mean what could he do? He could start saying something to Ryn before the little one was all over his arm praising him for things that were not entirely his, and then there was of course Nat and her short but not too dangerous temper. So for a while all he found himself doing was laughing.

He had gladly returned the hug from Ryn and now that things settled a little he spoke, "Thank you Ryn, but it was not just me. Heck, I'm lucky to be alive really. If it wasn't for sole of the great healers we have here I would have been long gone. He looked down over to the little one, "You can call me whatever you like, as long as it isn't Ro-Ro." he smiled, "But what am I to call you?" he asked the boy.

Xavier had wondered if Dax would be here, and since he didn't walk in with them he would still assume he was somewhere, hiding in the room. It would be pointless to look for him and honestly probably reveal him to Dax as Enoch as well. He would just brush if off and just watch his words.

"The queen I am sure will be here any moment, but you may begin to eat whenever you wish." he smiled politely and motioned to the table in which one of them had already begun at.

[Ryn]

The little Crux's face lit up as Roland spoke to him, it was as if he was talking to his hero.
"My name is Jak sir, I mean not Jak sir, but just Jak, but you probably already knew that." He had a big smile.
"There maybe that'll teach you." Nat says to Leo.
Leo got up holding his stomach.
"Ow.." He groans.
"Oh that didn't hurt." She says.
Vex picks up a plate and goes around picking up certain foods, trying to organize his plate, though his eyes tell a much different story and his stomach growls loudly.
"What do you make of all of this?" Leo says as he and Nat look over the table.
Nat makes a gesture for Leo to be quiet and they looked at Lord Dosise for a moment.
"Be careful, that one has blood on his hands..." Leo says.

All the Crux head to a seat, Ryn and Nat right across from where the Queen would be, while Leo, Vex, and Jak sat across from Roland.
Jak kept staring at Roland while Leo began frantically grabbing food left and right. Vex ate a bite of meat and then wiped his mouth all properly still acting as if he is high above everyone else.
Ryn began to pile on the food too, the kingdom really went all out on this feast, and from what Ryn had heard a young shape-shifter was the head cook.
Nat joined in.

While all the Crux were beginning the feast, Dax was in hiding snooping around Town Hall. He was assigned by Ryn to watch over the feast, but Dax had something entirely different in mind.
With a grin on his face he sneaked past the dining room and into the main hall way. He had to get into the main archives of the town and plant some convincing evidence. He looked down the halls, there were guards everywhere. If he wanted to get in the archive hall, he would have to turn out the lights and sneak past them. Teleporting was too loud and messy, sneaking was the way to go since Dax knew how to blend in with the shadows, being a Shadow Crux himself.
The power generator was in the basement, a simple flip of a switch would shut the thing down for a few minutes.
Dax made sure to keep a special eye on the leader of the guild, something told him he knew that he was here.
He chuckled to himself, this was just a small step in his overall master plan.

Back at the feast,
"Really Roland? You almost died?" Ryn asked. "I'm guessing Gabriel....."

Namari walked in quickly and with a sheepish smile, "I'm sorry I'm late, everyone. Thank you for coming, and welcome to the castle!" The elf walked up to her seat and sat down, still smiling. "I'm glad you all could make it, though."

"No Gabriel is fine, he wasn't in that battle." he said quickly so that the queen then could have the floor.

Xavier grabbed a piece of fruit from the table, an orange, and began to carve into it with his knife. He did not care what the Crux said about him, the past was past, now he must focus on the future.

Roland decided to be the one to really break the ice, not with the beating around the bush but actually getting on the path to the point of the gathering. "I am sure you are a bit confused as to why you where asked to come here today," he said trying to speak clearly so all could hear him. "And I do not wish to keep you waiting but perhaps I should offer if you would wish to discuss it during, or after the meal." although saying it so everyone could hear he directed it to Ryn. He had been careful not to yell it though as he knew the ears of the Crux to be sensitive.
