His mouth was dry. His face was red. Hands clenched together so tight that they were ghost white. Tears fell from his eyes occasionally as he sat on a rock in a very small clearing.
Dante was devastated. To say the very least. The love of his life, murdered. He hadn't been to the castle since he found out. He hadn't even been in the city. As soon as he had heard, he ran as far and fast as he could. Once he got to the island he stayed there. There sat Dante, one of the kindest and non-violent person around, angry beyond belief. He was only depressed at first. But, now, he was both depressed and furious. All he knew, was that he wanted whoever did it dead. Brutally murdered.
He tried to contain his anger. He really did. But he was slowly and silently going insane. Dante wanted to find the person who killed Phillis, and put him in the worst pain possible. To do this, he began practicing dangerous spells on the area around him. On tree's you could see vicious slashes, or a fallen tree here and there. He wanted to inflict as much pain as possible.
Dante was tired, though, and sat on a medium-sized boulder to look at the damage he did. And even though it looked like a horrible battle had just happened, it wasn't good enough for the man. Nowhere close.

Roe could feel the discharge of angry magic from even the city. Somebody was using strong spells, and they weren't being very careful. So Roe had departed immediately to go put a stop to it so nobody got hurt. When he got to the lake, he could see the island had a boy on it that is destroying the environment. Roe furrowed his brow, then backed up to the treeline. Then he charged the water, and when he got to a full sprint he jumped and flew over seventy yards thanks to his elvish strength. He swam the rest of the way, and when he got to the island he coughed from exertion.
The boy was furious over something, and his face and eyes hinted at a descent into madness. Who was this kid? Roe sighed, then cracked his back to make himself known.
"Why're you destroying the island?" He asked bluntly, stretching as he asked.
"Because those I will use them on deserve the pain. Best to use these spells on trees than beings for practice," Dante smiled with his tear stained face.
Roe narrowed his eyes. "Young warlock, there are many things you have yet to learn. One of those is that nobody deserves pain, and if you wish to inflict it for revenge then you are no better than they are. These trees did nothing. Practice on air, or summon some dummys to practice on. Or practice on a moving target, like me.' Roe said, hoping the warlock would stop the wanton destruction.

"You try seeing the love of your life brutally murdered. Even if for a split second, you'd have to wish the killer death. Besides, I practice on other things than the trees. They just get in the way, is all."
Roe raised is eyebrow. "One person, eh? Well, little warlock, I've witnessed countless of my brethren slain at the hand of a god. I've watched as my entire race was sealed away and I was enslaved to do this same god's dirty work. I've made friends and watched them die from old age, from sickness, from battle, for twenty thousand years. I watched my own child get his throat torn out as a punishment for not slaughtering an entire village. That village became Tetra. Do not say your pain is greater. I understand better than any living creature how bad the pain is. That doesn't mean, however, that it is right to take it out on other things that are innocent. If you wish to practice, practice on me. I can heal quite fast, and I'm sure I'll give you a challenge. Take your anger, your rage, your frustration, your pain, take it out on me to your hearts content." Roe said, all the while with his arms crossed.
Then, he activated his blood release. His coat disappeared and his hair was immediately shorter. His body got a tad more muscular and he felt his physical abilities increase. Roe activated his thermal vision. Battling a warlock, no matter how young, is difficult if they go invisible. With his eyes, though, he'd be able to always see him. He memorized Dante's heat signature so he could distinguish it in battle.
"My name is Roe. I am The Hunter, The Fixer. Come!'

Dante pouted. Tired and upset, he really did not want to fight. And the whole purpose of going to the island was to get away from the people, to make sure he wouldn't practice on anyone. But, of course, that wasn't exactly going to happen.
"Fine, but I'm tired. You will not know my true strength, I warn you," even at this he was strong, but none the less Dante wouldn't use the spells he had been using. Spells made to cause immeasurable pain. He snapped two fingers together, creating a small flame, before placing the flame in his palm. He then clasped his hands together and drew out his hands, creating a large ball of fire. He split it in half as he rushed forward at Roe, throwing one fire at him while keeping the other in his hand as he ran.
Roe jumped and flipped over the fireball, drawing a sword and slicing it in half as he soared over it. The sword's ability dispersed the magic, and Roe landed lightly. As he hit the ground, he crouched, then lept and spun into the air towards Dante. This is where it'd get tricky. As the warlock approached him, Roe ran directly towards him. When he got within a few feet of the warlock he dropped and did a sliding kick at his feet

Dante jumped over the man and rolled behind him, fire still in hand. Dante steadied his feet before twisting around and throwing fire once more, summoning more fire in his hands after he threw the last fire.
Roe got to his feet as he jumped and twisted, already running when Dante fired the fireball. Roe sliced it again, the cut the fire out of the boy's very hands. As soon as he was done with that, he jumped over Dante with a flip without pausing after he dispersed the fire. With a flick, he had his sword point against the back of Dante's neck.

"Quite frankly I'm bored of this," spoke Dante as he sighed, rubbing his temples. He was already tired, already upset, and having someone best him at his worst state just made him more irritated. He pushed the blade away from his throat, a sort of dark look on his face. "I came to the island to practice away from people."
"I am not people, I am person. And the spells you're practicing... In all my years I've seen ninety percent of them. Do not inflict pain that isn't neccesary, young warlock. You won't find this killer without assistance, which I am willing to provide if you promise me one thing." Roe said as he sheathed his blade and went back into his normal state.
"And then I kill you and someone kills me. An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind ya know?" loren sat up in a tree. It's leaves just about all lost from Dante's spells, only the top half remained, good thing he was in the top half when he was napping. He always did now so that dragon would have a lesser chance of seeing him, he hoped.
Lored looked down at the two, all the while playing with a dark colored feather in his fingers.
"But, Dante, you said you wished to practice away from people, sooooo please allow me to grant you your wish." he descended down the tree and began to walk casually away. He had done research now and knew who Dante was.... He had to get out before another thing like Namari happened. He began to sweat.
