Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
"Because I do not stand for revenge killing. It changes a person completely, and it makes it far too easy to kill somebody else for pathetic reasons. And trust me, I am more than capable of doing it, as I have yet to show anybody the true extent of my power." Thats when (is it Loren or Lored?) spoke up Roe used his eyes and detected an increase of body heat. This man was nervous for some reason.
"Hold on, stranger. Why are you nervous? Did you play a part in this warlocks lovers death?" He asked right off the bat, wishing to derive an answer immediately.
Loren turned around, "Nooooo way, I may have hated his guts but he would have been a much better puppet alive. And I am nervous because a dragon is kinda looking for me as his chew toy so I would rather not be in large open clearings for long ya know?" He sighed, "And he is a sorcerer, at least call him by a more appealing title, or maybe his name," Loren rolled his eyes.
"Dante, is it? Hmm... As for the dragon problem, I'd recommend abandoning all clothes and covering yourself with mud for about, oh, one hundred and fifty years."

Dante looked down with a big grin, trying to hold in laughter. He finally looked up and spoke to Loren, "The only dragon real close to Avaleur is Namari's. Did you piss her off somehow, then? Or have you traveled far and wide away from the dragon who wants your behind?"
Loren was now at the bottom of the tree. Did everyone know everyone at this stupid city!? "Huh? Oh I don't know hard to tell when they can fly wherever they want you know. I haven't traveled too far though." he smirked, "I think I could take it anyway," he joked and laughed nervously.
"Oh you just have to live a little is all. Have some fun in this life because life is short you know." he smirked as he still played with the feather. That was when Loren realized he was still trying to get out of here before anything got out of hand again. He decided to wait just a bit longer so he didn't seem too anxious to get away.
"Establishing your name, that is what you do that last the longest." he twirled the feather and looked at it admiring it's outer beauty but its inner destruction ability.
"My time, or compassion, or sacrifice. I am the only one that deserves any of those things." Loren replied. He looked up and now that his attention wasn't all on the feather, realized he was telling stuff he might probably could get into trouble with.

"I'm sure you would change your mind if you loved something," Dante chuckled, running a hand through his hair. He stared at Loren for a moment, before shrugging, "Believe what you wish. But if you ever meet someone you care about, whether it be a friend, family member or lover, you'll realize that love makes you ignore the ugly in people."
Loren shook his head, "Ending my childhood was the best decision I ever made." so people would never learn. Oh well, he had talked and waited long enough to not make it suspicious. "But you wanted to practice away from people so I will grant that wish." he smiled and began once again to walk again, hopefully for the last time.
