((Private RP between Phillis and Walter.))
Phillis walked along the mountains, letting out a small sigh to himself. It felt oddly cold to him, though it wasn't a particularly cold day. It was more than likely due to his lack of warm clothing. He tried to remain indifferent to the fact, but at least when he first came to Avaleur, the one thing that separated him from the commoners was his nice clothing. Now, he didn't even have that much.
He stuck his hand up, continuing to walk, and looked at his fingerless gloves. He never understood why people had worn them like this. What was the point? Ah well, he was wearing them to fit in now.
He didn't really care that he was no longer king, but rather, he rejoiced in the fact. He just wished he could have found some other way to drop the title, some way where he wouldn't miss the few people he truly cared about. But it was too late for that. He just had to keep moving on now.

The knight huffed his was around the mountain, human form at hand. He looked around with boredom, patrolling the area. He spotted an unfamiliar man, with a familiar aura. His eyebrows raised.
It had to be him.
No one was around, so Walter shouted, "Phillis! Hey! What the hell man?!"

Phillis immediately clenched at the sound of his name. He began to run away. Why must he be spotted so often?! Why was it never someone he'd want to catch him?! Like Alice, or Dante? These thoughts were running through his head so quickly, that he didn't even have time to notice an unexpected pothole in the ground. His foot got caught in it and he tripped. He was ontop a hill, and his body harshly began to roll down.
Ugh. This was all too familiar to him. Why did he have to be such an uncoordinated bastard? Upon reaching the bottom of the hill, his body was engulfed by only the most immense pain possible. His healing wounds were probably torn up, and his head was dizzy. He covered his mouth, as the oh-so-familiar taste of blood filed the inside. He threw it up in a moments time. He wanted to move, and get as far away from Walter as possible, but he was far too dizzy to even attempt. He closed his eyes, leaning back against the hill, panting a bit painfully.

This reminded Walter of something in the past, but he ignored it as he rushed up to the man. "Why the hell were you running?!" he sighed, placing a hand on the man's knee and forehead. He then took away some of the pain.

Phillis opened one eye, looking at Walter. He really needed to become more aware of his surroundings, he had barely even heard the man approach him. "Huh? I don't know.. Reflex, I guess."

Walter shook his head in disbelief. "What the hell though, why aren't you dead?" he pulled the man into a big hug, holding back tears. "I missed you, my friend. I thought you were dead. Didn't even bother to see your body!"

"Gee, thanks." Phillis laughed a bit breathlessly. "Just because I'm not dead doesn't mean I'm not injured, alright?" he pulled away from the hug, wincing in pain a bit. He then raised an eyebrow at Walter. "I always thought you'd be glad when I died."

"Of course not! You were a little shit, I admit, but you're my friend! Your death upset me greatly," he smiled softly. Then, he grinned, "Besides, not it just means I won't be able to get away with as much. Namari pays attention quite a bit!"

Phillis laughed. "Of course. That's Namari for you." his voice sounded abit sad as he remembered.
"Mind lowering your voice a bit?" he asked, pointing to his head. "I'm really lucky. I've gotten so many blows to the head over the last few years and I'm still alive, but it wasn't without a price, now I'm stuck with these fucking annoying-ass migraines."

Walter caught the sadness but ignored it, and laughed lowly. "Sorry Phillis. I'll be more quiet."
"That did remind me of a memory of my past though. This kid in Paineston's woods fell down a hill and hurt himself, and I had to make him feel better!"

"Huh? Who was he?" Phillis sat up a bit, upon hearing this. He had a similar memory, but where he had fallen down a hill and received help from a strange boy.

"I don't remember his name. All I really remember was that he was crying a fair amount! I looked a little different then too, took the appearance of a small boy in Paineston. I had darker hair then, same face really though."

Phillis awkwardly recalled this. He tried to pass it off but.. no, it couldn't have been. Had Walter and Phillis actually met a long time before Walter had shown up in Avaleur?
"Was the little boy wearing a red royalty uniform...with the national symbol of Paineston on it...?"

"Did he call you Wally?" Phillis asked his final question, even though he was already 100 percent certain it had been him that Walter was talking about.
