Elwood laughed. "I'm just kidding. You have your days but you're a good person, Elizabeth. Or else you wouldn't take in so many people."

"Elwood, thanks. and its a good thing i dont take your jokes seriously!" Elizabeth laughtly lightly, taking the pot of stew off the heat. Now it just needed to cool a bit.

"I'm bored! Where's Gayle?" Mariya huffed, and she sat by the table, bored.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "For all i know, he could be passed out. I told him to get cleaned up and changed. Maybe he is starting to sober up! Give him time, Mariya. He is probably stressed and a little bit confused. The twins should be around here somewhere." sighing she took out some bowls for the stew. "Plus its almost time for dinner..."

Mariya sighed, almost childishly. "Why are the new ones always scared? I wasn't like that." she laughed a bit. "Well, whatever, what's for dinner? The same as always?"

"Stew. We are slowly adding in better stuff though. It went from just cabbage, to beef, carrots, potatoes, and string beans!" She poured some of the stew into the bowls, proud of herself. "I promise that we will start eating better food soon. We dont have the money yet."

"Well, at least it's better than the crusty bread you used to give us." Mariya laughed.

Zalen laughed, walking into the room. "That crusty old bread was the worst!" he grinned, leaning against the door frame, sylus standing close by.

"I seen you walk in with a new guy, Elizabeth. " sylus stated with a small grin. "He looks like he has had one hell of a time..."

Hayden walked into the room. He knocked onto the side of the door to make his presence known. "Uhm-" he coughed before continuing. "I'm here now." he had clearly sobered up a bit, but was still looking rough. He looked at all the unfamiliar faces with confusion.

"Everyone, this is Hayden!" Elizabeth gave everyone a small smile as she introduced hayden.

As he stepped in the room, Hayden nodded his head awkwardly. "Hey." he said simply, as he waved a bit. "Hayden Gayle's the name. It's a pleasure, I'm sure."

Running her hand through her hair, she inhaled deeply. "This is Mariya, Elwood, Zalen, and sylus." these introduction were starting to become bothersom.

Hayden sighed a bit to himself. "I'm still a bit confused about you people, and your system.. The way you do things.. I'm completely clueless.. but I hope you'll accept me as one of you, and that we could all get along." He nodded his head. He really had no intentions of befriending any of them, but it didn't hurt to make a good first impression.
