(( I suppose this is the night before the ''WOLF ATTACK'' thread! ))
Hands thrown in her pocket, wearing a baggy hoodie, Dani quietly and slowly walked through the alley. It was narrow, and dark, eerie even. It smelled damp, and of death. Not the place you want to be at 12 o'clock at night.
But, it was the shortcut home from work. All she had with her was her dagger and a few coins. She listened around her, and heard footsteps. The alley was empty from what she could see, and most steps would get loud, and then quiet. She would tense up as they got loud.
The neko girl sighed quietly to herself. I'd transform into a cat, but then I'd have to leave all of my things here... the thought displeased her, sadly, and she decided to carry on with her walk.
She was about halfway through the alley, when she heard footsteps behind her. She stopped, and heard the person continue. The steps got louder and louder, and Dani knew someone was sure to pass her.
Uncomfortable, she moved to the side and leaned up against the wall, hands in her pockets as she watched the ground, waiting for the person to pass.
Raymond walked foolishly, carelessly through the alleyways. He played with te string of his bow while he walked. He wasn't aware of the dangerous people in the alleys. Sure his cousin had told him all about it, but it hadn't really hit him yet, a bit blinded by how good things had gone already.
He continued to walk, he payed mind to his surrounds, he was on an important mission after all, but he was not as cautious as he should be in these times.

Dani peered up as they grew near, and she was surprised to see someone around her age strolling around the alley. He definitely did not belong here.
"H-hey...you really shouldn't be in the alleys at this time of night," she called out, lifting up her head with a frown on her face, eyebrows furrowed.
As quickly as Raymond could, he took off the bow from his back, loaded and tensed the arrow in its string. He looked around seeing no one he lowered it to the ground but kept it tense just incase. Whoever had said that they had decided to either remain, or become hidden. Perhaps he overreacted but from what his cousin had said... He could trust few.
"S-show yourself.... Please." he said his eyes darting aroun searching. "I don't mean any harm." he let the sting have a bit more slack.

Perhaps I blend in too much... she thought to herself, removing her good and stepping away from the wall. "You might not mean harm, but the alleys are much too dangerous to be taking a casual stroll around," she stared as she stood in front of the boy, raising her hands. She didn't much like him holding that bow aimlessly.
He put his bow and arrow away as he saw hopefully no threat in the girl. "I know, but in these times a boy must take on dangerous things. Sometimes a casual stroll through an alleyway tormented by a giant is not the best idea, but neissisary..." he had perhaps sai too much in those statements but he revealed nothing important. Nothing that would unravel anything to her, or any other ears in the darkness.
Raymond raised any eyebrow... His cousin had wrote about a criminal who towered over people and mangle the body's of his victims in the alleys. But maybe that was a secret... Hopefully he hadn't ruined anything.

Curiosity killed the cat. And now he had her attention. Her ears perked up, and a sly grin crossed her face. Crossing her arms and standing so she was a mere inch or two from his face, she spoke slyly. "Oh, is that so? And why's that?"
Raymond's personal bubble had been slightly broken and he was even more uncomfortable with the questions. He leaned back away from her. "The important hero kind." he made a face that clearly showed how he felt. Uncomfortable.

"Aww, you trying to play hero?" she leaned in closer. She had no problem with personal space, and this guy clearly did. She wouldn't go closer than she was, but it was tempting. She liked teasing people.
"Well, that does sound interesting...I'm not sure why my ears shan't be slowed to hear it, though," Dani backed up, shrugging with a wink of her eye. He wouldn't tell her, she knew. Though the suspense was killing her.
Raymond stood up straight again feeling a whole lot better not being so close to the Neko girl. "I'm not trying. I am. I have to, and it is not a fun, happy go lucky thing. I feel as though I am this place's only hope sometimes..." which was weird, he thought to himself, he had only been here for a short time...

"Ohh? And why's that? It's not your job to help the place, it's the people in charge. They seem to be doing a fine job of it, after all. Ever since that King died there hasn't been any troubles," Dani stated.
She had nothing against the King. He never knew him. It just seemed bad things happened when he was ruling, and nothing had happened at that point.
Raymond began to say something. He even opened his mouth. But stopped, he could not reveal any secrets. Not any an alley anyway! That could be horribly foolish. "I suppose your right." he said after some thought.

Dani stared at him for a moment. "...you were about to say something. It's here, isn't it? You have a problem talking here? Common, I'm real curious and you're pulling my leg here. Really."
Raymond closed his eyes, it lasted longer than a normal blink, once he opened them they illuminated with a soft light blue color. He looked at Dani and saw her for what she stood for. He saw that he could trust her, but curiosity began to get him as he decided to look further, but just as Magnus said, it was too much for someone who wasn't an Almorite. His eyes rolled back and his body followed as he fainted and began to fumble to the ground.
