She nearly gave a small shriek. One second and he's got blue eyes, staring at her. The next he's about to collapse on the ground. She quickly got under him, struggling under his weight. He was probably heavier than her without the armor, let alone with it.
Gotta get him in the shadows... she thought to himself. It was much too dangerous to be out in the open. She shuffled over to a small dead end, near pitch black. It took her cat eyes a bit to adjust, but they did none the less.
She carried him on her back, his feet dragging on the ground. She settled him against the corner, before taking out her dagger and sitting next to him, observing the area. Dani looked up and in front of them, making sure no one spotted them. And to their luck, no one was around. Dani looked at Raymond quickly with worry. What the hell was that about?!
The boy slowly began to come to. At first his eyesight was blurry and what he could see seemed to spin around and twist around. He moaned as he felt his head. "Uhhh," was really all he said as he forgot where he was.
His mind came next and he looked around a bit confused, he saw Dani, "What happened?" he asked.

She looked at him and placed her dagger back, sighing. With a smirk, she stated bluntly, "Your eyes went blue. You fainted. And I had a hard time carrying you out of sight. What was that about? Both the blue eyes, and fainting."
He closed his eyes doing the eye thing again but not opening them to show their color. He felt none around... He could speak. He opened his eyes to them being normal. He sort of laughed, "I'm not really sure what the blue eyes stuff is. Some pretty sweet magic stuff, but I did it to find out if I could trust you. I fainted because I'm not suppose to be able to do any of it, and I tried to do to much on top of that." he chuckled trying to get up but leaned a hand on the way as he was still 'dizzy'.

Dani placed her hands on his shoulders and forced him to sit down. "Wait til you can stand before trying to. What else did you try and do?" she asked, curious. "And do you believe I'm trustworthy now?"
Raymond was very easy to be forced to sit down as his legs where all wobbly and weak. "I was trying to look deeper into you was all," he turned red a bit embarrassed... But all I needed to really know I found out." he shook his head up and down, "I can trust you."

Dani raised an eyebrow. Look deeper into her? She did not know what he quite meant, but he seemed embarrassed so she did not further press it.
"...there are no ears to hear around here but mine and yours. If you don't mind, I'd like you to explain what's going on," she asked, leaning closer to him. Not near as close as she was before, but enough that a very quiet whisper would reach her ears. Not that she would need it. Her ears were picking up everything near them.
"My cousin has been kidnapped, stolen by dark ones that wish to change his very being. Their ultimate goal is to take over the kingdom and after that I do not know. I do now however that by taking my cousin they have opened a massive door of opportunity, one I am sure they will walk through soon. So upon receiving a letter from him, I came here as he asked. To help and prepare."

Dani raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Will you be warning the castle? The people? They need to start an army, or something! Oh goodness, I've only been here a few weeks, and there are people trying to take over Avaleur..."
Raymond shook his head, "Telling the castle and people is too risky, my cousin said I could trust very few with this information... He said that everyone's character should be questioned, that it was hard to tell who was really who. But I think he told me that just because he wanted me to be extra careful. I think he already knows who to trust and who not to... At least I think." he paused, "But I have been trying to form a rebellion." he smiled.

Dani furrowed her eyebrows. I understand the people maybe, not all of them are good, but shouldn't he inform someone in the castle? She shook it off, and continued to listen.
"Who's in the rebellion at this point?" she asked, leaning against the wall as she looked out at the other street in thought.
"Only a few farmers and a man named Magnus and his people. The Almorites." he answered. At this point he could stand so he did, above, in the sky's, a lite sprinkle of a rain began to develop.

One of Dani's ears flicked as a drop landed on it. She placed her hood up, looking up at Raymond. She thought about what he was talking about. A rebellion. "Are they planning on killing the queen?" she asked, suddenly worried.
"There's no heir...last time, the hand of the king became queen. The hand of the queen is missing, I've heard. There is no heir if she dies. If the rebellion defeats the dark ones, what will we do? That last tournament didn't turn out too well, I heard."
Raymond shrugged playin with the string of his bow. "I don know any of their detailed plans... And the rebellion will restablish this place how ever it sees fit. I am not apart of any of that. I'm just here to prepare things for my cousin's return."

"Who's your cousin?" she asked, eyebrows furrowed. This whole idea confused her, even slightly frustrated her; Things were fine the way they were. And now these dark ones were going to fuck it up, not to mention how the rebellion might try and change things after.

Dani raised both eyebrows. So this man's cousin is the hand. Interesting.
"Ahh, but now someone in the rebellion does not know," she stated plainly, chuckling. "Though I guarantee I won't tell anyone, no worries. For one, that would be rude. Two, I have no reason or motivation to do that. And three, I feel there is no point in spreading secrets."
Raymond frowned, he had thought for sure she would join. "So it is true what they say... As long as they get a good show the people of Avaleur don't care what happens." he shrugged, "Well thanks for your time I guess, don't strain your eyes watching others bust their hides to try and save people like you."

Dani nearly snapped. "Excuse me, mr smart-ass, I wasn't invited to join your little rebellion. I'm not going to just invite myself in. I can take care of myself, by the way, no one's saving my hide."
She was nearly as mad as how mad she usually got with Dax. She hadn't seen him in a while...what happened to him?
"Don't jump to conclusions. Besides, you never mentioned what being a member of the rebellion implies. Tell me that, and actually invite me, and I'll join. Hell, for all I know you could have not wanted me in it in the first place," she stood up and crossed her arms.
She was calming down a bit, but she couldn't help it. She had a temper. Raymond didn't seem like a bad person, quite the opposite. So she figured he didn't mean to make her angry, or at least
It took Raymond everything in him not to smile, so far the act had worked! Now he really knew she was interested!
He made a face like he was thinking things over, "Well, I dunno, but if you think you can... Pretty much I am building a rebellion to combat the dark ones when they least expect it, prevent massive destruction, and save your home." he shrugged, "Nothing is ever set in stone in a rebellion, but we could use all the help we could get." he offered his hand smiling, he hadn't been able to hold the act any longer.
