Avaleur's One Year Anniversary

Exactly one month from now, it's happening! And to celebrate, I will broadcast a live streamed video of myself talking about the site! The video will feature one surprise element, plus a small message to each member, a talk about the site, questions and answers, and another topic!

The other topic will be a sort of contest. Not towards each character, though, here are the categories:
Best Love Story of the Year
Best Major Plot of the Year
Best Site Skin of the Year
Best Group Moment of the Year
Overall Best Thing This Year

Exactly two weeks from now you will not be able to vote. The two weeks left you will be choosing out of the list of most picked things for each category.

I have one problem though...I do not know any free live streaming websites. You have to pay for 'livestream', so does anyone else know any free websites to live stream on? For the secret event, I need to have it live, with you guys able to message me while I'm videoing, and you guys being able to see me as I'm videoing.

For anyone busy during the time, I will be putting the live stream on youtube, so that everyone can get a chance to see the video, and what I said about them.

One more thing: Along with a PM of the contest, please send me a PM of the time of day during August 16th that you are free. This can be any time in advance, at least two days before the live stream. This is so that I can make an average time and hopefully get everyone I can to see the event live!

This site was created on my BIRTHDAY!!!!

Needless to say it's probably the best present I've ever gotten. Seriously, It doesn't feel like a year has gone by.
It seems like yesterday Denzel, Dante, and Seth were scaling a mountain while Steele was stalking them trying to make new friends.

Wow how times have changed. I miss first generation Avaleur, when all our characters were kids venturing out into the world. Now they're all adults with issues lol. Well that's Life in a nutshell haha.
I wouldn't mind going back to those first generation days though, where the site revolved around School.
True Fact: I have NEVER changed the banner lol, I keep forgetting to.'
I'll make new characters even, now that we have all the adults and more characters the site can finally grow. Imagine life as Olaf going to school and stuff, I smell an anime lol.

Namari I can not express all the gratitude and respect I have for you. You've worked so hard to create this site and keep it running,and you're so good at creating new and fun ideas for everyone. i love this site, hell it's still a baby site too. One year old can you believe it? Someone blow out its candles lol.
I do think it's time for growth, we should take some notes from Gaia online and other RP's to see how they got their start and how they grew.
That way we can apply it to Avaleur and have a bustling economy.
Then we can sell it to google or something. Pay-to-win baby!

No but in all seriousness, this site has kept me happy throughout my Junior year in highschool. Usually I always got very depressed during the winter, (Sophmore year was so bad I was contemplating suicide. Course I WAS at a new school and didn't know anyone.) It's helped me so much with my typing and story telling skills. My goal on this site is to always keep everyone as entertained as possible.
My only regret is making Steele suffer as much as he has. I honestly feel bad for the guy now, i just don't have the heart to keep torturing him

There is soo much I want to reply to in your comment, but I am planning on mentioning them in the stream itself! XD Oh and by the way, never mind, livestream IS free. It just scares you first into thinking there's only one option, to pay ^^"

I have been getting involved with other websites to gain us exposure. I've been coming out of my shell the best I can to get us more members. Hell, I joined two other sites. One of which isn't the greatest in the sense that I placed an RP up, and over a week later no one has replied. Damn :I

I've been researching other RP sites as well, asking questions to other sites and such. We're basically doing it right, especially now that I've been advertising a lot more.

If ya don't want to make Steele suffer, give him a happier life after the shit happening now! LOL

So the rest of the things you commented on Steele, I will reply to at the stream. Lets hope it all goes well! : D
