Adoptable Rules

The point of the adoptables is so that members who need someone else to play a character may do so. For instance, a family member. Or a husband or wife. Members of a group. These things are always optional as NPC's, but sometimes it is more fun to actually RP with these characters. For instance, enemies that fight a lot. Do you really want to sit there and battle with yourself, and have your RP partner have their character sit there and watch? Not really.

Rules for Adopters

• The original creators do not HAVE to give you their adoptable. Sometimes it just isn't a good fit. Maybe you write posts smaller than they are expecting, or bigger than they wish. It probably isn't a personal attack, so try not to be offended.
  
• You can not change or get rid of the information given to you without direct permission from the original creator.
  
• The character you adopt must be in character, you can not go out of character unless the original creator says so. If they wouldn't hurt a fly and you kill someone for no reason, that is out of character.
  
• Everything the original creator created for the character belongs to them. Everything the adopter created belongs to the adopter. The information created by each person can be used on other websites for themselves, but they can not use the other person's information.
  
• The plot that the original creator made for your character and theirs must say intact. Of course, you are allowed to make other plots, but MUST keep to the original one. For example, two people who hate each other who begin to have a growing like for each other. You can't change that and make the adoptable suddenly hate them even more, and never like them.

Rules for the Original Creators

• No complaining if no one adopts your character, especially if you have been turning people down to adopt the character.
  
• You can not order the other person around. The only thing that you control is the plot that you mention in the form, and the beginning bond between the character you mentioned in the form. They can use the character outside RPs with you, they can make more friends, and they can have other plots beside the one you created.
  
• The rules of making a character apply to this. So no perfect or overpowered characters without direct permission from me.
  
• You can have a maximum of three adoptables out. Any more than that you must have permission.
  
• Everything the original creator created for the character belongs to them. Everything the adopter created belongs to the adopter. The information created by each person can be used on other websites for themselves, but they can not use the other person's information.

This is how the forms work. The original creator will write out the form, putting in as little or as much information as they want. Once posted, an adopter may PM them asking to adopt the character. If the character is against the rules I will PM the original creator, asking them to change it.
The adopter will then take the adoptable and finish whatever spaces are left. After making an account for that adoptable, they may post the character sheet in the characters section. After approval, you may begin!
Under plot, post any characters the adoptable knows, their bonds with them, what you wish to have happen in the future, etc. Try and keep it short and sweet.
