Living Daylight
Since the dawn of civilization, a silent war has been happening behind. Two sides clashing with one another, clashing and fighting for their own survival. Vampires, the darker race, those that were once human but now find themselves in a permanent living death, immortal, powerful, ancient. Their thirst for blood makes them predators: only human blood can placate their needs. Predators by nature, they have a highly organized, structured society with strict rules: The Triumvirate - made by the three oldest vampires alive, in charge of organizing the vampire community. The Watchers - a group of skilled vampires that exist to enforce the rules. Younger vampires naturally respect older vampires, and any vampire knows that the order is necessary for their existence to be kept hidden and their survival guaranteed.
Witches have been around for many, many years. Created initially to counteract the action of vampires, they've been around for thousands of years. Using magic at their disposal, they organize themselves in smaller covens, which makes their organization not as well structured as the vampires'. Recently, a few covens have been attempting to organize the witches in a more structured way in order to properly fight against their mortal enemies, the vampires. Nature-bound spellweavers, the witches go by the three-fold rule: everything you do will come back to you three-fold, good or bad.
Not everything is black and white, however. Good and Evil are simply a matter of perspective. There are just as many morally-skewed witches as there are calmer vampires. Their mutual hatred, however, caused issues concerning the balance in the world. That was when the Hunters were created: a group of enhanced humans that were immune to both vampire and witch magic, responsible to keep the world safe from whatever outcome that might stem from the eternal battle between vampires and witches. Hunters, the truly neutral faction in the world, exist to be the judges that will be in charge of making sure that vampires and witches will not destroy the entire world in their lust for battle...
And in all that, humans live their daily lives, unaware of the conflict going on in the shadows. And Hunters will make sure that they remain oblivious. For their own sake.
Living Daylight is a Fantasy Roleplaying Game based on an original universe created especially for the game. In our board, Vampires, Witches, Hunters and Humans meet to create an interesting environment for players to explore their creativity. Be a vampire, a witch, a hunter, or simply a mere human. The limit is our imagination!
We are a bunch of quality writers trying to give our own twist to some of the most famous myths in the Fantasy world. Our RPG is a world that is based on an original background created specifically for our game. We strive to keep a good level of writing and interaction between the several characters, and we're quite active! We've only recently opened, so storylines are still at their very start.
