Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
Delliks looked around and at the others... It seemed to him that it was time to head on out. "How long should I keep this in before I find you again?" he asks Leif.
Leif laughed. "I have a lock on it, so all you have to do is take it out and it'll return to me as soon as its purpose is completed." Leif said. A child hugged his leg.
"Leif... Can we go now?" She asked. Leif smiled and chuckled, then squatted down and hugged her.
He shrugged his shoulders, he looked at the boy and little girl a little sadly, "Sorry boy, but I'm not a hero okay?" he said that part mostly because the little girl looked at him with puppy dog eyes as if to say, 'but we need you to help us still.' "You have Jordan, he is a good chap, you'll be fine. You don't need me." he tried to at least reassure them.

"Good chap? Thanks," Jordan said a little doubtfully, but chuckled. The little girl clung to him tighter. "But yeah, I'll help these people get to the city, and get shelter til they can go home if they don't live here."
Delliks looked around, a bit of him told him he should stay and make sure they all made it, but he just didn't feel it. Why help these people further? Besides he was never any good at this kind of stuff, sure he could talk the talk, but he really didn't know anything about kids. In fact they sort of freaked him out!
He nodded to Jordan, "You guys stay out of trouble alright? Keep your heads high, no one wants to mess with a bunch of half clothed and dirt covered people, they would think you could skin em in a matter of seconds." he chuckled, "Alright, I take my leave." He headed out of the broken cage, toward the woods, the crunching of the snow under each step he took. He sure hoped they all made it to town...

"Getting them all to town at once is a good idea. Less than ten of them, you know," he shrugged, looking around in thought. "Do any of them live in Avaleur, do you know?"
Leif shook his head. "Naw, I tried to take out these guys myself but I didn't know there were so many. I myself am from Paineston and haven't been any further than the gates of Avaleur." He shrugged after this, then picked up the child at his leg. "But we may as well go to wherever it's closest." He said disdainfully.
Leif whistled, and everybody started to head for him and Jordan. "It ain't that, I just dropped a lady off there and went to find out what was going on here." He pointed to a trail of dried blood on the back of his head. "This is what I got in return." He said. "I just hope we have somewhere to put these guys when we get there." He said, motioning for Jordan to lead the way.

"I'm sure we can ask around. If not I've got enough room, enough blankets and such," Jordan smiled, securing his hold on the girl in his arms and beginning to walk. "Is that head wound of yours okay, do you know? We'll run by the infirmary first so that anyone with injuries can get them checked out."
Leif chuckled. "I've had worse. That's what I get for working in a forge and hammering horseshoes onto horses." He said, herding the people in front of him so Jordan was in front and Leif was in the rear. "Let's get this goin'." He said.

"I work at a forge, though I've never worked with horses. Ever get a good kick in the face?" Jordan asked, grinning cheekily as he made his way down the path. Luckily for the group, this path was connected to the ones leading to Avaleur. And luckily for Jordan, he remembered how to get there.
"Chest, shoulder, head, feet, pretty much everywhere. Only reason I ain't dead is because my dad is the brother of a healer." He said plainly. This kid knew where he was going though, so that was a good thing.

The elemental nodded, "That must have been awful handy. I've not been harmed in my shop at all, really. Well, other than whenever I accidentally let go of a bow and it hits me in the eye. Luckily I haven't been burned, at least."
"So where do you all live?" Jordan yelled out to the group itself, to get them more comfortable with him.
"Burns aren't bad. Just a little scuff compared to a horse kick to the face." Leif stated plainly. He awaited their responses, and they all surprised him. They ranged from Avaleur to Hollow to Tetra, for a particularly young child that seemed like he could take Leif if he tried.

Jordan listened carefully. He could get a carriage and escort anyone in Guerre to their homes. Across the seas might be a little more difficult, he could always give them money. He didn't use his.
"Don't worry, everyone, we'll get you home safely!" he smiled, looking around the forest and continuing down the path, making sure the road was clear.
Leif smiled at Jordan, then sent out a burst of magic in a straight path forwards. Anything metal, meaning human or thug, that was large enough to be disturbed by this would immediately get sent back to Leif, alerting him of any upcoming danger. He searched the next one hundred yards, then kept up the magic in a thin layer, meaning only larger things would get detected. He detected nothing as he kept walking, but wild animals didn't usually have metal on them.
