She was surprised, to say the least. A father who would gouge his own son's eye out. It sounded horrid! Dani had never had to go through such a thing, her parents loved her with all of their hearts and would never hurt her.
"An interesting story to say the least..." she murmured as she stared at the patch. It didn't seem to hold the man back, at the very least. That was good. But she still couldn't imagine it.
"Where is your brother now?" Dani asked in curiosity.
Jerad chuckled, "He is the one who let you in," he places his hair back to its place and continued to eat and drink. For being a notorious criminal he seemed to have quite excellent table manners.

"Huh. I should have caught that," she giggled, sitting straight up in her chair once more and beginning to eat the food placed before her. It tasted good, in fact. Normally she did not have meals. Working at the pub normally meant she could only have smaller meals, just snacks. Sitting down and eating for once was nice.
And even if she wanted to cook for herself, she couldn't really. Dani was never a good cook. Bread and cheese from the market for her.
"How did you two meet, might I ask?" she looked at both Jerad and Dosise, curious. Dani assumed Dosise knew many criminals. He had to, really. But it was a mystery to her how the two might meet.
Enoch was the one to explain this one, "I used to work for a very well know group of criminals in Paineston, the Black Hydra. I had several jobs that included informing some of his people and gettin them positioned in certain areas." Jerad added, "I had heard much about the assassin that the most you could ctach of him was the tail end of his blood res cloak disappearing in the distance." Enoch continued, "We never really met face to face until I had heard he moved out here in the wastelands. I came to welcome him," Jerad again added, "And I was quite surprised to find that I was welcomes not by a face, but a man in a mask. Something about protecting his loved ones, some crap like that right?" he chuckled and Enoch only nodded. "It wasn't until he greeted me that I realized he was not only wanted by kingdoms and villages but his own organization wanted his head on a stick as well. The price ain't worth it though, the service and friendship of the Red Death is much more valued." jerad continued to smirk.

"Sounds like you both have quite the experience," she laughed. She had to admit, Jerad's smile was quite a handsome one. She had to stop herself from staring.
"I have a feeling you have quite a lot of interesting stories, the both of you," Dani looked at the two, awaiting to see if any more would be told. She took another bite out of the meat, a small bite, before taking another sip of wine.
Jerad chuckled at this and the other girls inthe room were getting very jealous, Dani was steal their spotlight! "Stories? I am sure we have a few, but what about you? I am more interested about you Danielle."

Dani was surprised and blushed a tad. No one ever really called her Danielle. It wasn't as if she hated the name, it just sounded more lady like. And Dani surely did not feel at all lady like. But it was sort of nice, the way Jerad said her name felt nice.
"Oh I assure you I'm quite the boring person...though I do suppose I have one story," she thought. "Basically how I became a criminal."
"My parents were never well off. Even in the small town I lived in it was hard to get by. We didn't have a decent house, lived off little food. And for my eighth birthday, my parents surprisingly got me a little porcelain doll. I thought it might have cost a lot, but they told me that I was their little girl and deserved it.
"A few months later I came home after some adventuring with a friend of mine, to find the house a complete mess. My mother was crying and my father was pacing. Someone had come to the house and messed it up. My parents didn't pay them back when they wanted to. So, with all of our things destroyed and with the things of value, including coin, stolen, I got to work. Went to the leaders house in the middle of the night and shot him in the head with an arrow.
"Though, we still didn't have anything. So I took to stealing. Money, food, anything really to help my family out. I didn't take enough to get caught, and after a while I got better. My parents were against it, but we needed it. They told me not to do it once we were back on our feet, but it sort of stuck with me.
"...I'm terribly sorry, I do believe I sort of rambled on!" Dani stated, her face going a bit more red then it had.
"No, Danielle, it was to a ramblence at all. It was a lovely story. You did what was right to pay that terrible man back with the arrow." he smiled swirly and then raised an eyebrow curious in the girls stories. "Where did you live? A small village around here?" Enoch nearly missed this crafty skill. It was something he had not done for some time. He decided to risk speaking up for her, as naturally as he could he interrupted, " a small village quite a ways from Avaleur I believe. I am not sure the tiny old thing even had a name." he chuckled. Jerad was a crafty one, if he found out information like that about Dani, well it was a rather powerful weapon for him to use, Enoch just hoped she woul understand his interference and not correct him. The again there was no way of telling that Jerad had any purpose for asking Dani these thing other than to make conversion.

Dani was a bit surprised but did not let it show. She knew very well that Dosise knew the name. It was Stacy's home as much as it was hers.
"Everyone just called it home, really," she shrugged, and it was true. Rarely a day she heard it be called Littlebay. Not many travelers, either. It was just home.
"That's really the only story I have, though. Everything else is basically boring," Dani shrugged, trying to stray the subject away from the town.
Jerad nodded as if to understand the two, "A small and simple village. I see." Enoch was relieved.
The big man who had let them in came into the tent, "Sorry to interrupt you brother, I minor riot as happened again and there is a few disciplinary measures that need to be looked to." Jerad sighed but not one of annoyance, no it seems alike he enjoyed the news, "Very well, would you to care to join me?" he invites them as he stands and grabs a vicious looking battle axe from te assortment of weapons.
Joining jerad here and now would give them an excellent reason to not return here after. He reattached his mask and got up, "We will acompany you, of course after it we will have to leave." Jerad nodded, "I understand." he rested the axe over his shoulder and they walked out and towards the riot. The people fighting that Jerad passed stopped and watched. It was as if he had powers to control all of them just by his presence. They reached the center and the fat man was on the ground grunting not being able to get up, his arm cut off from the elbow. The sword that did it was in the ground. Jerad looked around, "Who did all of this?"
Another man was pushed forward and into where they were. His face was swollen from punches and blood was spotted around his body. Jerad looked down at the fat man and then back up at the one who was pushed in. "Lift your right arm." He did it and as soon as it was lifted his forearm was sent flying into te crowd, blood spilling from his woud as he dropped to the ground in pain. Jerad's axe blade now had blood on it and he looked around, "Clean this up,"
The fat man grumbled something as he looked at Dani but it went unnoticed as everyone began scrambling to put this back together.

The young woman was tempted to stick her tongue out at the fat man, but decided against it. His arm was cut off, she was sure that was enough. Though, she did feel bad. He would have still had his arm if she hadn't decided he was an ass. Even if he was.
Though it was true. Jerad believed in the literal term, an eye for an eye.
"You are quite powerful, Jerad," Dani noted. Clearly he was, if the people around them obeyed his every command. "It is impressive, to say the least."
Jerad laughed turning back to Dani, "You have determined that how exactly Danielle? You have only seen me cut one arm from one man." his brother helped the fat man get up and his friends thelped take him away. He had lifted him up like he was nothing.

"The battle was silenced right as you showed up, so I would assume you are powerful. In leadership, or in strength. Or both," she stated as she looked at Jerad with a smile.
"You have good eyes then Danielle," he smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Very good eyes, not just to look at but very useful too." he compliments her as he looks into her eyes.

She blushed slightly once more, a smile crossing her lips. Dani giggled, "Thank you Jerad, I appreciate the compliment."
Was he purposefully trying to woo her? It was sort of working. All the same Dani thought this more fun than anything. Getting mixed up in a man like that would only mean trouble, she figured.
He smiles, "My pleasure." he turns to Enoch now, "Alright, time for you two to go? I understand and please next time you stop by my domain don't forget to see me again." he and his brother returned on the way to his tent.
Enoch breathed a relaxing breath of air finaly they were done talking to him, and no problems arose. "And that is our 'friend'." he said chuckling a bit.
"Always.." he states as he walks up to Dani. Jerad had kept them sepperated, always having one of them on each of his sides. "You did good," he reassures her.
