Ivil looked down hungrily at the meal laid before him, after all that time on ships eating decently or next to nothing it was time for a feast just for him, no more fighting over some bread,no more arguing on what to save, and no more race for the rum; as he adjusted his scarf he casted a wary eye towards the door making sure no 'unwanted' partons can in, he didn't want his first meal alone to also be his last, he shook his head clear and began to focus on his food while relishing how it was nice to be on break.
Thinking that maybe he should try this more often he dug into a biscuit and not just biscuit a fresh one! he was so use to stale bread on long trips that he also choked on it and requiring a swig of alcohol to wash it down though this only confirmed him of his own mortality and how much he should cherish life and how he shou- 'Stop thinking and get eating' his mind screamed, and with that Ivil began eating.

Lucky day, lucky day! The guild had been watching safely and quietly at this man. Ivil. A pirate. He could transport the goods, Dosise said, and Dani agreed. So when she came into work that day ti was a usual day. Until she walked out of the kitchen, trays in hand, and spotted him. Her ears perked up, and she quickly took orders and gave people food.
Once she passed Ivil's server, she told him she would take over. She had been there longer and he nodded once she told him he would get any tip Ivil gave.
Dani strolled her way to the table, and placed a hand on it. With a sweet smile she asked, "Hello sir, I'll be taking over as your server for the evening. Do you need anything, maybe a refill of sorts?"
Ivil was halfway to stuffing another piece of bread down his gullet after drowning the first one down with beer he stopped and averted his eyes to the lass getting her hands dangerously close to his food, before he could even react he trying to blurt out something luckily with the bread in his mouth it only came off as a bunch of muffled noises; finally learning to chew and swallow he attempted to wave her off "Stand there an' do a dance?...sorry that's rude..." Ivil's sentenced refused to become understandable as he looked over his food trying to decide on what to eat next, "Oh! some beer please" Ivil made only brief eye contact, still eager to eat.

Dani raised an eyebrow, a smirk across her face. He was lucky he had apologized- she was near yelling at him. "Right away," she smiled, and as quick as she could grabbed one of the beers behind the counter and handed it to Ivil. "So how long have you been in Avaleur?" she asked, as she looked over the man. Wondering how she would bring up the topic of the guild, without actually mentioning it. Near impossible, she thought, but she would try.
Ivil was so engrossed with his food that he almost didn't hear her question but he tried his best to answer "I-" he held up his hand for a brief second as a signal that he needed a moment to swallow, and with that out of the way he continued "Well ye see I've..." he stopped once more as he realized, this may all be a trap, what if she was a guard in disguise? his gaze suddenly shifted away and his rude demeanor returned "Whats it be to ye!? i be here that's all" he leaned somewhat away from the waitress just in case.

Dani raised an eyebrow once more, and opened her mouth to talk back to the man. She shut it quickly.
Dosise wants him, Dani, suck it up. Just suck it up. Don't let this little shit get to you.
She shrugged. "I'll ask you not to be rude, sir, but it was just a question. Making small talk, ya know? I've seen you around at the harbor is all, seems like you like the open sea?"
Seem like you're making small talk, Dani. He'll take it the wrong way, always, but you can always fall back on that. He'll warm up eventually.
