Talia walked through the dark, cold, forest. No sound could be heard besides the crunching of twigs and dry leaves underneath her feet. Closing her eyes Talia imagined herself wading in water. At first the water was still then with each step she imagined the water rippling, in perfect rings, across the smooth glass water. A small smile spread across Talia's face and her small wings started to flutter lifting her an inch above the ground. To do what she was just doing in her day dream would be a marvelous little activity to pass the time (seeing as Talia had nothing better to do).
Humming to herself, Talia hovered over the ground going off in search of a small pond of sorts.
When Talia finally found a pond it was already sunset. Instead of lowering her spirits about being lost or uncertain of her location deep in the woods her mood only seemed to improve as she poked a toe in making the surface ripple. With a little shriek of laughter Talia jumped in sending splashes a ripples everywhere.
Enjoying herself a little too much the half fairy didn't even bother to look up at the sky or even at her reflection to see her eye color. When she finally did get a little sidetracked did she realize the sun was starting to set. With mud between her toes Talia marched out of the pond and sat under the nearest tree she could see.
Talia waited for a bit in silence, thinking about how she'd get back. Truthfully, she was lost. She was a little scared but also somewhat excited... That is until she heard foot steps.
"Hello?" Talia called which might/might not have been the smartest idea depending on what was out there making noise beside her.
