Oh what happened? What didn't happen was more like it. "I tried to get Steele away from the tower and people, that nearly killed me. I created illusions to try and save my skin and the Skarlett showed up. I tried to kill her and when that failed i pretended to escape, which I actually did do, but then I came back as a strong illusion so I could try and try and figure out more information. I had to stop my act when she sunk her teeth into my neck, I had no way of making an illusion out that. When I left the illusion, well I myself was an illusion."

"Huh...you really need to be more careful about that, Xavier, it sounds like dangerous stuff," she pursed her lips, concerned. Her concerned face soon turned into a smirk.
"So...how exactly did this 'Skarlett' get close enough to you to sink her teeth into you...?" Dani teased.

"She was a blood demon, she could hold you still by the blood inside you. Could even tear you apart by, well yeah." he shuddered.

"Oh. Well then. That's a scary thought...you said was?" Dani asked, tilting her head slightly as she got more comfortable on the couch.

"Well seeing as the castle is no longer being held by those same people, I only assumed.... Maybe you should fill me in on what all has happened," he needed to be updated, where and what happened to Steele, heck he didn't even know if Namari was alive!

Dani nodded, "I'll sneak around in my tabby form. It should be easy enough. Apparently a lot of people enjoy petting stray cats while they chat gossip and whatnot, it's how I go about it."

"That is a very interesting way of doing it. Highly effective I would think no matter how odd it sounds." he nodded pleasantly surprised by her creativity, "Very cunning."

She shrugged, with a smile. Happy that Xavier seemed impressed, even a little. "You'd be surprised really. It's how I got most of my information. Now all I get it from is the pub really, both useful tools I think."

He nodded agreeing, "Yes they are both useful, very useful actually. You are able to get both ends, the types of people that go to the pub, and the ones that like cats, and from my experiences I have come to find many high class citizens enjoy cats."

Dani smiled, nodding.
"It's like an instinct thing. If you see a friendly cat, pet it. I've had very few people shoo me away actually, the ones who do I just listen to them from afar."

Xavier chuckled, kind of a pesky little thing she seemed to be when she wanted to be. He remembered how stubborn she could be that night before he had vanished.
He thought of something and pointed to a book near the fireplace, "The spare key is in there, so you don't have to pick the lock every time."

Dani looked over at the fireplace and nodded, standing up and walking over. She picked up the book, then the spare, turned and smiled at Xavier.
"Thanks," the girl nodded, sliding the key into her boot. She seemed to keep everything there.
"Do you know how to get in if you change back and I'm not around?" she asked.

Now that they were sort of a thing, he had no problem telling her more about what he could do, "Yes, I can actually portal to places." he chuckled, "There isn't a whole lot a need a key for anymore."

Dani thought for a moment before grinning, nodding. "That does make sense then. At least you'll be able to get into your house, that's all I care about!"

He hadn't really thought of it to now, "You didn't have somewhere to be did you?" he hadn't realized he had kept her for quite some time, "You don't need to let me hold you up."

She was about to say that she didn't. It was the weekend after all, she didn't have work.
Then it caught her mind.
"...oh for the love of- shit! I took an extra shift at the pub for today! What time is it?!" she looked out the window. She was supposed to be there by mid-day.
"Ahh dear..." she looked over at Xavier, biting her bottom lip.
She wanted to stay, she really did. She had missed Xavier, after all.
All the same, work was work.

He chuckled, it was funny to see her react like that. "Go then, I don't want you to be fired! Oh and please don't other to lock the door."

Dani nodded, rushing for the door. She swung it open and quickly turned around.
"Dosise, I'll come back and visit whenever I can, and I'll make sure nothing bad happens at the guild while you're like this. And I'll make sure Kyle doesn't kill Dax!" she shrugged. She was still unaware that Dax had been one of the bad guys.

"And also, I'll go look at the books in the library, and get information at the castle! Hang in there, I love you, bye!" she waved quickly, not even waiting for a reply before the door was shut behind her and she bolted down the way, towards the pub.
Please don't let me get fired, oh PLEASE don't let me get fired! she thought as she ran the whole way there.
