He pondered his leave as he skipped flat rocks across the still waters, the sun setting. There was snow on the ground, and the water near frozen. Dante did not know if he found it more appealing, or less appealing to leave Avaleur. He wanted to get better at what he did, and yet, he still had people here. Phillis was gone, yes, but he still had his friends.
Dante skipped one more rock across the water and watched it sink after a few hits. With that he slumped down onto the ground, laying in the cold snow. One thing was for certain- he would be staying for a while yet. The man let out a small sigh, not one of annoyance, or frustration, but of being tired. He didn't get much sleep, too worried about what would happen. He had been out of town during the storm, and when Avaleur had been attacked. It came much a surprise when he got back.
With pursed lips Dante sat up, and got onto his feet. The man brushed the snow off of his legs and hair, before looking up. The sun was nearly set. He smiled, leaning up against the rock next to him, watching the last glimmer of light disappear over the water.
Judith had been roaming around by herself, annoyed by the cold weather. It really put a damper on things for her. She was unable to wear her most favourite outfits, and now had to cover herself in long coats, and stockings. Well, whatever. I still look great. She thought, as she flipped her long black hair.
As she continued looking around, she saw a boy. A very cute boy, indeed. Hmm.. she smirked to herself, approaching the boy, as she faked a worried looking expression. "Excuse me, sir." she batted her eyelashes. "I seem to have gotten myself lost.. Do you know the area well?"

A raised eyebrow and Dante turned around to look at the girl. She seemed worried. With a smile he chuckled, with a nod. "Like the back of my hand," the man reassured.
"Are you lost?" he asked as he turned his body to face her, hands in his pockets.
Judith gave a one sided smirk, as if she was laughing at herself. "I'm so silly, huh~?" she forced a blush. "Oh my, it's my first day here, you see, and I'm already lost.."

"I'd be happy to show you around, or get you to where you have to be," he smiled, shrugging slightly. "Can't have pretty girls like you getting lost." It was true, she was pretty. But his heart still ached for Phillis. To Dante, this was a mere encounter with a young lady whom was lost. Sure, he liked both genders, but that didn't mean he wanted to jump into anyone's pants any time soon. Even if she was cute.
"Only if you want of course. My name is Dante, and yours?" he asked, holding out a hand to shake. She seemed like a nice girl. But something was pulling him towards her. He didn't know what.
(( lol I assume being a succubus would make males drawn to you, would that be correct in a certain way? ))

(( Alrighty : D ))
Dante smiled warmly, before placing his hands back in his pockets, and looking around. "So where were you headed? I'll get you there, and show you a few places along the way."
"Hmmm~" Judith thought for a minute. What was the easiest way to get this boy alone? "I was thinking of some place to stay over night.. I really did just get here, all alone. I don't know what to do.." she faked teary eyes. "Oh, I'm so hopeless.."
She was lying of course. Her family was staying at an inn closeby, and she was always rather good with directions. She knew exactly where she was, but before she knew it, she was trying to get time with this boy.

"Hey don't cry, cheer up! The pub in town has rooms to stay in, if you don't have any money I can pay for it. Set you up there. Or you could stay at my house, I have an extra room now that you can stay it," He had cleared out his sisters room, and placed her things in a closet. The only things left in the room were things you would usually find in a spare room.
"So cheer up, everything will be fine," Dante tried to speak as reassuringly as he could. He hated seeing girls cry.
Judith wiped the fake tears away. "Y-Your house? I think that would make me most comfortable.. To stay with a friend.. If you don't mind.." she tried her best not to smile. Everything was going so perfectly.

"Sure, no problem. We should start walking, it'll be night before we get there," He smiled, placing a hand on her back and beginning to lead the way towards the city. The sun had nearly disappeared over the water as they made their way there. "So what brings you to Avaleur?" Dante asked, removing his hand from her back while they headed up towards the city.
"Oh, I used to be from Paineston." Judith began to explain. "Some things happened and.. Well, I thought Avaleur seemed like a nice place, so I came here instead."
She remained silent for a moment and then decided to continue the conversation. "Have you lived here your whole life?"

"From birth," he grinned with a nod. "Like I said, I know the land like the back of my hand. For the most part, at least. So I hope I am helpful towards your learning of the city." They neared the gates to Avaleur. The sun nearly gone.
"I do hope you'll like it here. I mean, it's been through hell lately, but it will hopefully get better. The people are generally nice, and it's fairly multicultural."
"Oh, yes? Most of Paineston is human. How rude of me to assume!" She laughed a bit, flipping her hair. " I am human." she stated flatly. She hated to admit to her succubus life.

"Terribly sorry! I should have remembered that Paineston was mostly human," he chuckled, but a pained look crossed his face. How he missed Phillis, even after all this time.
They walked into the city, which was not very busy as night had come. They passed by little of interest, though as they walked a few things caught Dante's attention.
"That's the infirmary, and the church," he pointed to both individual buildings. "And the pub," he pointed once more. Dante pointed up, where you could see the top of the castle, "And there's the castle."
"The castle here's much bigger than I imagined. Avaleur itself is much bigger than I thought, actually! I imagined it to be quite small." Judith observed as they walked by.
Judith shook her head. "Don't be sorry! We can try again tomorrow of course! It's so dark now. Being outside is too scary in an unfamiliar town." she faked a little pout.
