The thief

[Kyle Black-Sky]

Smirking, kyle carefully and swiftly moved through small crowds of people. There weren't many people around, but it would do. As he moved through the crowds, he slyly snatched money and other valuable good.

"ah, there is no place like the city." grinning, he sat on a bench and put his right leg over the left. he rested his arms on the back of the bench.

'hmmm....where should i hit next?' he thought to himself, scanning over the shops and the people.

Felicity skipped through the plaza. She hummed to herself lightly.

She saw a man sitting on a bench. A man whom she hadn't met before. She smiled as she gently levitated towards him, landing on the back of the bench. "Whatcha doinnnn?"

He frowned for a moment, but quickly regained his cool composer and smiled, closing his eyes. "I'm sitting on a bench." he replied smugly.

Felicity smiled. "So you are!" she giggled. "You're silly!"

He laughed and looked at her with his grey sly eyes. "Names Kai. Im new to town." he was playing the game of: Be kind, and get as much info as possible. Its what people usually do anyways. He was very tempted to flirt though.

"I'm Felicity, nice to meet you!" She exclaimed, sitting down. "Where are you from?"

"out of the area... A nice city. Has lots of knights and stuff." Cracking his neck, he yawned. "It was a long journey for me though. So, whats a pretty thing like you, doing in a place like this, pretty butterfly?" he admired her hair, eyes, and wings.

Felicity giggled. " I'm just exploring. Do you like Avaleur so far?"

He seems very kind!

"Its alright so far." he thought for a moment. "not alot of people though." he raised his eyebrow and looked at the people walking by. 'unfortunate for me really...' kyle sighed and created a bit of frost on his clothing. Being an animagus was difficult, and because he was a wolf animagus, he got warm faster then others. "What do you think of avaleur?"

"I think it's a very nice place. Sometimes bad things happen, but it's a very peaceful town overall. It would be better if we had a ruler though."

Smirking, he nodded his head. " If you had a ruler, more bad things would happen. things like war and poverty. I once knew a group of thieves, and they attempted to live with a ruler of their own. They failed, and all of them died. Their leader drove them into the ground. " he frowned when he mentioned the thieves. blowing the hair out of his eyes, he looked at felicity and smiled again, his grey eyes visible now.

" If a ruler was assassinated, what would happen? war. Thats why i came here, really. Where i came from is at war."

"That's a pity." Felicity said. "But we're a small town now, we'd have no reason to be at war and even if we were attacked, nobody would know the difference, only the boarding kingdoms and they'd be delighted because it would mean more land for them."

"well thats a rather grim way of thinking of this town. You wouldnt care if it was taken over in a small war? you would have your freedom taken away, and probably more then that. Avaleur really isnt that small." he grew serious, and transformed into his wolf state, revealing a bandaged foot. He wanted to be in his wolf form for awhile.

"I guess you're right. I probably wouldn't care but that's because I'm one of the few who could get out of here before that happened."

"hmm.... i see." kyle thought for a moment. and then stood up, barely putting pressure on his foot now. "well, i have a job to do."

"What job?" Felicity asked, curiously.

Kyle held his breath for a moment. " I'm a thief. Not only that, i run in the black market. but you must not under any circumstances tell anyone. Only you, and one other person knows. The other person who knows saved my life."

Felicity nodded, a little surprised at the story. " I won't tell a soul." She said, smiling eerily. " Mums the word."
