Namari shivered as she made her way down the alleys. It was midnight, pitch black, and yet some people were still running about. Probably criminals... her breath was shaky as she let it out, rubbing her arms.
"Can't you make fire?" Namari smiled at her little pet fire gecko as it sat on her shoulder. He buried himself into her hair as if wanting to go to sleep. She chuckled and continued to walk onward.

Kyle limped down the usual ally, unhappy. He had no luck what-so-ever with his job. Not only that: it was a cold dark day, he was tired, hungry, cold, and in pain. his body shivered as a draft of wind went down the ally. "dammit... This town...ugh." he didnt have much to say about this town so far.

Namari stopped walking, and sighed. She slid down a wall, and sat against it. "Peter, come on, I know you can produce fire.." she grumbled to the gecko. Peter crawled out of her hair and stared at her. Namari rummaged through her bag, pulling out an old book she would never use. She placed it on the ground and stared at Peter, waiting.
He stared back, and finally looked at the book and breathed a small ball of fire at it. The book instantly caught on fire, and started to burn slowly. Namari smiled, rubbing her hands together. "We'll warm up here for a little bit," she said to Peter. He nodded his head to agree.

A Light. Kyle tilted his head and headed towards it. as he got closser, he realized that is was a burning book. An orange glow spread around the ally, and kyle relaxed at its warmth. Finally, he realized the girl with the fire gecko. "Did you make this fire?"
