Elle fell silent, musing over Meryl’s words. Non-consenting relations. Every girl’s fear, in one respect or another. However, what she was hung up were his words prior to that. Forced fed what? Introductions to mud? Sounded like Meryl was being blamed for what his paternal lineage did.
“I fail to see how that is your fault.” Elle finally said, sitting up, sitting on Meryl’s hips, legs on either side of him. She crossed her arms in front of her bare chest, looking off with an expression of annoyance.
“Is that where the scars came from? Shouldn’t mothers love their children? It wasn’t your fault. People like that piss me off!” She said, tapping her fingers against her arm. Things like that reminded her of back home. The Council head, who was probably one of the worst people Elle knew. The man hated her, her brother, her brother’s tutor, and anyone who didn’t conform to his ideas. The only people he seemed to respect were her father and mother. Her mother because the old fuck was hopelessly in love with the woman, her father because frankly, he’d easily beat the council head into a bloody pulp if he so chose.
Meryl placed his arms behind his head in the relaxed position while starring up at her with a toothy grin on his face despite her being annoyed she still looked amazing from this angle. "I'm a demons bastard, kin to a species legend to tormentors, rapists, murderers, and monsters. That is enough to make me the scum of the earth. Or to them atleast." Said Meryl playing it off as though he wasn't bothered in the slightest by the way everyone viewed him.
"Yeah, villagers found it relieving to beating and torturing the monster before them." Said Meryl with a soft sigh as pushed himself up softly his fist closer to her neck and covered chest. "I believe my mother loved me...I just don't think she could handle the scorn or the cruelty of this world. Yes they piss me off aswell, but, sadly this world is filled with them....almost every person in this world is like that. What they cannot accept or understand must be destroyed." He said with a sad half smile on his face as his eyes cast away from her.
"You are special Elle. You see the wonders of the world, its mysteries, its unfortunate events, all of it. And instead of running or getting scared or attacking it you accept it with a smile." He kissed the tender flesh of her chest that was left exposed and up to her neck. "Which is why I want to hold onto you and not let go."

Elle glared off to the side as Meryl mentioned the fact that he was spawned from a demon. That didn’t make it right for people to treat him that way. It really riled her up.
“Well, people should learn to learn, not destroy. Not call things monsters or freaks or try to beat down something good. Just because they don’t understand it.” She said, huffing. Meryl kissed her though, from chest to neck, and it seemed to diffuse her enough to bring a smile to her lips.
“Well, I am pretty special. But if we’re being honest you could say my brother taught me how to view the world this way. If it weren’t for him I may have grown up closed minded like everyone else.” She said. That wasn’t really true, she had always been a free spirit. But she may have been more fearful of the unknown otherwise.
Her words brought a smile upon his lips as they danced across the soft skin. "I agree completely dearest Elle." He whispered to her before grabbing the sides of her face and pulled her lips to his in a gentle kiss. He pulled away with a soft grin playing at his features. "Oh? Maybe I need to be kissing and seducing your brother then, yes?" He teased in his playful manner and giving her a wink. "Nah, I think your brother may have brought it forth sooner but that kind of special spirit is born with you. I am thankful I have met you."
Meryl let out a conten sigh as his arms found themselves wrapped tightly around his elf maiden. "What about you? What was your childhood like? Your brother?" He asked having a genuine urge to know more about her

Elle returned the kiss, before laughing as Meryl mentioned seducing her brother rather than her.
“I don’t think you’re his type.” She said, giggling. Though she did just find out Aerin was bisexual. Even then Meryl still didn’t seem like Aerin’s type. “Besides, he has his heart set on someone else for the time being.” She added, feeling so glad for that. It really was about time Aerin started looking into the opposite sex, or same sex, or whatever sex he wanted. She honestly thought he enjoyed being alone. Now just to get him into a relationship, or preferably find a way to get rid of his pesky virginity.
If it is spirit we’re talking, my father says I get it from my mother.” Elle replied, wrapping her arms around Meryl. “Or we could just say I’m special and call it good.” Give credit where credit was due. She smiled as Meryl asked his own questions of her, and she found it funny that they were trying to get to know each other after they had sex, not before, like most people did.
“Nothing too terribly interesting. I grew up on a huge farm. I come from a village that mostly is agricultural. Farms everywhere. Most elves from the village are rather close-minded, majorly religious folk. My family was sort of the odd family. Mama is religious of course, and Daddy is too, but they don’t really preach like the others, and they never go to church. Aerin and I are considered trouble because Aerin doesn’t believe and I just don’t care.” She toyed with Meryl’s hair, taking a bit and beginning to braid it absently.
“Aerin is my twin. I’m technically older. By a few minutes. He was the one most people sort of…outcasted.” She said, frowning. “He’s blind and crippled. He has to use a cane to get around. And the children we grew up with treated him like a freak and the adults…well they were condescending to him and their pity kept them from seeing that he’s a person, and a person who could do for himself. It wasn’t till our coming of age ceremony that he actually earned respect, but he sort of had to earn that through fear. But that’s a long story.” Elle said, releasing the braid and smiling at the mage. “You don’t want to hear me talk all day.”
"Oh please darling, I'm everyones type!~" He cooed with a sinister and sly wink before nodding slowly. "Oh drat and there goes my fantasy of scoring the twins, but nonetheless, I'm happy for him and wish him the best of luck!" Said Meryl faking a disappointed sigh escaping his lips before shrugging it off without releasing her from his arms.
He snickered softly and nodded slowly agreeing with her words. "Yes I agree, You're just special. More worthy to be a queen or princess!" Meryl stated with a sagely nod, he closed his eyes listening to every word she shared with him and wove a picture of what he could with the information given him. He opened his eyes when she finished and smiled to her in a gentle manner thinking how nice it was to have a family like she had or atleast he saw at is interesting despite the hardships her brother had face.
"Your brother sounds strong, a truly respectable man indeed. If only he were a mage then I would surely sway him to joining my..." Meryl trailed off stroking his chin looking to the side. Upon realizing what he was doing he chuckled nervously and rubbed the back his head and turning his attention back to her. "I beg to disagree! Your voice is like a peaceful hymn and I would listen to you speak all day and deep into the night...though you wouldn't be talking but moaning and shouting. You just cant keep your hands off of me after all." Said Meryl poking his tongue out his mouth. "But that's ok because you'll be my wife~" He teased.

Elle smiled, looking off into the distance across the lake. “Yes, he’s strong. And brave. Not that he’d ever give himself credit for that. How many people would sacrifice themselves for their sister when they’re only eight?” She looked back to Meryl, an eyebrow raised. “Well, actually, he is a mage.” She said, head tilted. Get Aerin to join something? It had her interest.
She laughed and gave Meryl a playful swat as he spoke, sticking his tongue out at her. “Plan to make me a housewife? I’ll be no such thing.” She said, placing her hands on her hips, which gave Meryl a nice display of her bare breasts. “I’m a free spirit, remember?”
"A noble soul to brother the free spirit. So very fitting." Mused Meryl with a spark in his eye as he heard that her brother was indeed a mage, he moved one hand free to stroke his chin with some intrigue. "So he is...hm...very fortunate." He said in a soft whisper before kissing her chin.
Meryl laughed himself when he was hit in the playful manner, faking a whine to her. "A housewife? Never! Trophy maybe~ but never a house bound loose clothes fat wife who can only cook! Perish the thought! More like adventurous and always naked whilest satisfying her husbands perverted urges whenever the arise whilest slaying dragons and picking roses wife!" He said again taking a breath having went on in one breath, eyes widening and he instantly had his hands on the exposed mounds groping and fondling before moving onto the nuzzling of her breast. "So soft...mmm...so perfect..."

“Why is my brother being a mage so fortunate?” Elle asked, “He doesn’t fight or do anything epic. His lame leg and blind sight won’t let him. He makes potions.” She wasn’t sure how that’d help Meryl, but it sounded like he wanted to meet Aerin, and the idea made her nervous. She never introduced a man to Aerin. Ever. It’d have to be serious for it to come to that.
Elle paused and laughed, shaking her head, then rolling her eyes as Meryl spelled out what type of wife she’d be.
“Elves don’t get fat. And what makes you think I’ll just lay back to satisfy your needs? Maybe it’d be the other way around.” She said, blinking as he grabbed hold of her chest and nuzzled her. She gave another eye roll. She took the opportunity to stand up, out of his grasp, and she walked to her clothes, slipping her underwear back on.
“You’re like a boy rediscovering the female form. It’s adorable.” She said, smirking back at him.
He pouted as she stood and escaped his graps but more so at the fact he could no long touch her breasts. "Magic and mages arnt fighters by nature, we are scholars at heart. Pushing the bounds and testing and creating mystery and wonder. Anyone with aptitude for it would be good to know." He said with a nod watching her dress, though casting a quick scowl to Squeekers who was hiding nearby for not nabbing the underwear when she was distracted.
"Oh? Good to know you wont ever lose that amazing figure ehehe. And either way in that situation we both get to scream a bit.~" He cooed with his devious grin as he leaned back on his hands and giving her a whistle of approval as he watched. "Well with you I am, haven't I already told you no one is as attractive and has more perfect curves then queen of the elven maidens, my Elle?" He said standing and grabbing his pants carefully.
He moved to her once again and poked her nose carefully. "And I'm not adorable, I'm handsome." He correcting with a playful wink.

“Well, if there’s something Aerin likes to do, it is learning. If that’s all it takes for you to get interested in him then he qualifies. He owns a potions shop in town.” Elle said, dressing at a leisurely pace. She had no rush to be clothed again. She thought about Aerin’s experiments, and how they worried her sometimes. She worried about what it was her brother got up to inside his office. Especially with the door closed. She always feared he was doing something dangerous. Something deadly.
She smirked as Meryl called her the queen of maidens. He apparently dismissed the fact that maidens were generally virgins as a rule. But it was alright. She liked the attention. What girl wouldn’t? She giggled as he corrected her.
“Okay, handsome. Let’s see you try to make me your bride.” She said, winking back, before she pulled her shorts back on.
Meryl stretched as he watched her dress it was almost as good as watching her strip, almost. Meryl found himself dressing aswell thought this time leavin off his cloak and hood as she had taught him to leave it off around her already. "Oh? You sure about that? Cause I can accomplish this task in a sum of one month." Said Meryl lifting up a finger to emphasize how long.
"Entering this challenge will bind you to me for life as a wife, cause seriously. One month." He teased again let out a playful laugh. "None can resist my charms after all, I am a dazzling mage!" Said Meryl in an overly confident tone at his goal to seduce her into being his wife.

Elle looked at Meryl as he bragged of being able to get her to marry him in a month. She tilted her head, eyeing him a moment, before sitting down and slipping a boot on, buttoning up the sides. A month indeed.
“So, you want me to make a wager that you’ll get me to fall in love with you and marry you in the span of a month?” She asked, finishing on boot and slipping on the next. He seemed rather confident. In fact, he was too confident.
“A dazzling mage you may be, but my emotions are not a dazzling mage’s toy to play with. You must greatly underestimate me if you think you can sweep me off my feet and have me fall in love and get married in a month.” She said, standing now that both boots were on. She picked up her belt, the last article of clothing left, and slipped it on. She nearly laughed. Have her fall in love? Not likely. The last person she had loved had hurt her very deeply. She’d not make that mistake again. If Meryl wanted her love, he’d have to seriously earn it, and she hardly thought he proved to her he even seriously wanted it.
Meryl instantly felt the tension he had created in the air. He rubbed the back of his head and cast his eyes to the floor. "E-Elle I didn't mean....I...er...I didn't mean your feelings were a toy..." He said in a nervous tone as he poked his fingers together, eyes darting up at her then back to the floor like a child having been caught doing wrong and trying to explain himself.
"I am sorry. That was wrong and offensive. I didn't mean to insult you like that." He said coughing and regaining his composure though he rubbed the back of his head. "I only meant that if you want I would work so hard to earn your affection properly and in my earnest attempt you would offer me some pity and permit me a chance." Said Meryl stroking his chin softly before pulling his hood up quickly.

Elle listened to Meryl stutter a bit as she fastened the belt, before turning to face him, one hand on her hip. She listened to him work his way through an apology, clarifying himself better and correcting what he had said. She watched him pull up his hood, then let the silence spin out for a moment or two. She stepped up to him, reaching up and pushing the hood back.
“Apology accepted.” She said, giving him a little smile. “Stop putting up your hood. I like your face better in the light, not the shadows.” She added, before she turned, stretching.
“And there’s no law saying you can’t try to win me over.” She said, looking back at him. If he wanted to try to win her over, he could try. She wouldn’t stop him. She just hoped he was in for the long run.
“I don’t mean to be nasty. It’s just…well, I fell in love once before and the boy hurt me very badly.” She said softly, crossing her arms and looking down at the grass. “It was hard. And I just don’t want to be that hurt and that embarrassed again.”
The silence made Meryl squirm like a mouse cat in a trap, oh it was painful wondering if he had made her upset. He almost had to pause and ponder why it bothered him so much when he thought she was upset with him but it was interrupted when she spoke and he let out a sigh of relief. "You kinda enjoyed that didn't you?" Asked Meryl tilting his head to the side after having his hood removed again. "I wont put on my hood again around you."
He watched her and listened to her words intently a soft nod as she spoke. "I see..I am even more sorry they way I said it." He stated feeling even worse about his latter remarks. He smiled softly to Elle and cast his eyes to the ground slowly. "I've never really contemplated getting someone to like me like that, and if you did eventually like me in that way you wouldn't have to worry about being hurt," He said placing his hands behind his head and looking up at the sky with a smirk. "Hurting you would be just too much work, would be easier to just nap and stick with you for the long run ya know?"
Post by Luella Vaettir on Mar 14, 2014 17:24:13 GMT -5
Elle looked back to Meryl and blinked. Easier to stick with her than hurt her? She supposed that was true. If he did hurt her, maybe it wouldn’t be intentional. Not like the first time…
“I think just sticking with me would be better in the long run. And speaking of running, I should get going. I’m going back to my brother’s shop to actually feed him something. He’d probably starve himself to death if it weren’t for me.” Elle said, stepping up to Meryl and giving him a kiss on the cheek. She liked the mage. A lot. Maybe there’d be something there with them after all.
Meryl gently grasped her waist and pulled her against him giving her a good long kiss goodbye. "Well I suppose if you have to..." He said as he pulled his lips from hers, his eyes half closed as he watched her face. "I could take you there...and if you don't want me to do that, atleast let me send Squeeker with you." Meryl stated and gave a whistle and Squeeker hopped out of the tree and the wind swirled around the drakeling and its size changed and he was big enough for one to ride.

“Well, if you want to come you can.” Elle replied, looking unsure. “But…I’d prefer if you didn’t go into the shop. I don’t want Aerin to think I’m introducing a man to him. I don’t really do that. And if you do go and meet him on your own, don’t mention me. He’d probably dislike you forever that way.” She said, giving Meryl a weak smile. It’d be best if she introduced Meryl herself as her boyfriend…if that was what he’d be. Otherwise Aerin may not be impressed with the man. “I only say this because there have been times in the past that men went up to Aerin to…brag about being with me. He has a sore spot with that. So do I.”
She looked over as Squeeker scuttled out of a tree and flew down, magically shifting to a bigger size. Big enough for her to ride. “Oh wow!” She said, eyes widening. She stepped up to the drakeling. “I didn’t know you had such a talent Squeeker!”
Meryl nodded and stroked his chin softly. "I don't want to burden you too much, so I wont follow you there or go to your brother." Snickered Meryl with a wink before folding his arms behind his back slowly. "Fret not my dearest Elle, I wont bring you up if I ever meet your brother. THat honor is yours to bring me up if I should earn that right."
Squeeker nudged her hand with his snout and instead of his normal squeeking he let out a soft growl expected of a drake of his size. A breath flaring out from his nostrils as he gave her a toothy grin. "He will take you home."
