Welcome to Avaleur, a medieval fantasy roleplay site where anything is a possibility. Face bandits, or knights. Work your way up to become part of Avaleur's castle, or try your luck at being a thief. Own a shop, be a guild master, start a family. The possibilities are endless.
"Now now, wait jus' a flubbin' moment. I meant' light as' in it's hide tis' as yellow as thee golden sun, nd' it's fire shine's like a beam of light. Nd' if ye two are' goin lookin fir' that thing then ye've both lost yer nits." Steele sighed. "Nd' if yer goin' in there yer' goin' ti need a guide ti get ye out thee safe way nd' not ti thee powerful yet lesser creatures way." He says.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
'that makes things slightly harder' he thought himself through the odds. 'my spear is designed to penetrate Rhino's skin, so a hard thrust might penetrate the underbelly, two of us.... slim chances.'
"Namari if you go I will, but we should rethink this." he had come to this conclusion.
"Oi." Steele said. Namari sure was an adventureous one. "Well I have no intention' of dying but tall' go too." He said limping towards the hunting grounds.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari laughed, following the man. "Neither do I, and with all of us going we'll be able to handle the situation!" She grinned back at Roland. "Are you coming with us?" she asked, walking backwards.

Namari smirked, walking forward again. "Alright, Steele, lead the way!" she cheered, hands at her hips. With the two of them with her now, the darkness did not have much of an effect on her.
Steele limped ahead leading the group. "Well ti first thing ye should look fir, tis a giant shadow on thee groond. Thee bloody thing usually flies rite' ova' yer heads in by thee time ye realize it, yer dragoon food. It's hide is harda' ti peirce than a double armored Wind-wolf. What ye need is ti have a strategy nd' team ti beat tis' thing. Ifin ye do, I'm postive there be a whole hoard of goodies in its den, but watch out, tis' thing hasn't been aroond' tis long fir no reason. Tis a smart devil."

Namari nodded, smirking. "This will be fun! I havent fought much more than beings around Avaleur." she rubbed her hands together. "We'll be able to handle this though, guaranteed."
Steele facepalmed. "Hinny unless yer not afraid of heights, necessary injuries, and size ye din't have a chance at all. Tis' thing kills nd' raids fir a livin', it tis' a malevolent bein' not ti be messed with. Nd' if ye look at our team, I'm not at all likin' our odds of survival." He sighed. He hated being injured like this. "We need a plan hinny, er were marchin' straight ti a hopeless barley."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
"Well here's my idea, we travel on ground till Steele hears or smells that we are getting close, then we will have to try and stay close to the trees and other large structures. It's underbelly is it's weak point. We want it to fly, it's our best bet of getting underneath. Once flying I can annoy it by throwing my spear at it's belly, while you guys get underneath and try for the heart when it lands. What do you think?"

"That could work," Namari nodded, and added, "I don't know, though. It seems too simple...there is probably going to be some problems that we'll face."
"No, there will most definitely be complications." Roland says, "But I think it we stick to this basic plan it could work. I mean if you guys have anything to add, or a better plan completely, than you should speak up." he smiles, he would prefer a better plan.

"Ye do that, nd' it'll jus' pick ye off one at a time. Like I said thee bloody thing' is smart." In the distance a loud roar could be heard. "Aye we're close."
