It was mid-day, and in town the sun was shining bright as anything. In the marsh, it was dark.
Namari hated the dark.
It scared her, which was funny because of her high stature in town, but it was true. Trying to get over her fear, Namari walked deeper and deeper into the marsh, becoming more frightened with each step. Her pet was at home, which made her feel even more lonely. Her shoes were soaked, she was cold and unhappy, but by the time she wanted to go back she knew she was lost.
"DAMMIT!" she yelled, clenching her fists and gritting her teeth.
"Tsk tsk tsk." Steele chuckled (werewolf form) "Tis not like a noble knight of Avaleur ti curse in dangerous parts of thee Marsh." He said sitting atop of a tree. "Tis a surprise fir sure." He joked.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari looked up, and relaxed to see Steele above her. Chuckling, she replied, "I wouldnt count it as a curse word, really. And to be honest I can't tell the difference of any part of the marsh, so if this part was the most dangerous I wouldn't know."
Steele laughed. "Tis marsh is a real barley ti survive in hinny. I usually come here ti clear my head, how'd ye end up all thee way out here?" He asks dropping down from the tree, limping a bit. Getting a closer look one could see he had recent scars across his body and one long scar across his face.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Steele turned his face away embarassed. "I er...got inti' a barley with that bastard Balius. If it twasn't fir Phillis nd' thee dark winged angel I'd be dead." He says.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari scowled. "Steele, you shouldnt go looking for trouble!" She sighed, shaking her head. "You're not hurt too bad, are you?" a look of worry crossed Namari's face.
Steele smirked. "Actually thee fight started because I told him' I was one of thee new knights of Avaleur. One thin' led ti another, he hit me, I hit him, next thin' I know I'm bleeding ti death on thee ground." He felt his side where his ribs were broken. "I'm fine now, mostly, much better than I twas' yesterday. First time changin' since thee incident."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari smiled gently. "That's good then..." she looked around, trying to find out her surroundings. She opened her mouth to ask how to get out of the marsh, then firmly shut it. She did not like asking for help. "W-Well, if you're fine, then I suppose I will be off..." Namari smiled, waving as she walked away. Without her realizing, she started going in the opposite direction of town.
"Hinny are ye tryin' ti head fir yer death?" Steele asks. "Ye keep headin' that way nd' ye'll be in thee light Dragon's hunitn' grounds." He says. "Even I wouldn't go there alone." He says limping up to her.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari frowned at Steele, and stopped walking. "Please stop walking, you'll hurt yourself..."
"I've never heard of any dragons in Avaleur..." Namari scratched her head, and then grinned. "Well, I've never seen one before, so I'm going to go look!" Namari grinned, and continued to walk towards the dragons hunting grounds.
"Oi." Steele says, his ears go down. "Yer jokin' right?" Steele says. "Thee bloody thing will find ye in thee moment ye get close to it." He cautiously warns her.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"It'll take my mind off this place though. You said light dragon, which will settle me down!" Namari looked back at Steele. "You're welcome to come if you want. Though I would rather you didn't with your injuries."
Steele tried to walk forward but was still severely injured from the fight. "Sorry hinny, I can't go with ye on tis' one." He reluctantly says. "Jus' promise me ye win't end up Dragoon food." He jokes.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

Namari chuckled. "Well, in all honest I'm not going alone. I'll have to go some other time." she shrugged, a blush running across her cheeks. "I may be strong, but I have no clue what I would be facing. Best to go more prepared."
Roland was trekking through the marsh looking for something of interest, truth was he was hunting, not for a beast but a plant. He was looking for the Giant Avaleurian Mushroom, he had read in what was left of library that they where spectacular to behold.
It was getting darker the farther he went into the marshes. He came up to Steele and Namari. "Hey guys! What's up?"

Namari grinned at the boy, "Hello Roland! Steele and I were just talking about the light dragon that's that way." she pointed to where the hunting grounds were. Namari felt even more relieved than before with both Steele and Roland there.
