Namari nodded, gripping her sword. She lunged forward, aiming for where Roland told her to. Before she could reach it, the dragon swapped at her with it's front paw, sending her flying. She hit a tree near by, and lay on the ground. Slowly she tried getting up, and cringed when a jolt of pain was sent to her chest. Looking down, you could see the dragon had created three claw marks on her stomach.
God dammit! she thought as she stood up. Grabbing her sword that had landed beside her, she lunged for the dragon again. This time, she was undetected by it, and she thrusted her sword towards the chest. It sunk in, and the dragon yowled out in pain. She backed up, grabbing her chest as she did so.
Roland ran over to Namari, he placed his arm under her's and grabbed her should so she could use him as support, "Are you ok?!" he looked down and saw her wound, "Oh my..... Hold on if we can get to my sac I have some medical supplies." he assured Namari.
'Luckly Arkelse taught me how to do this awhile ago,' he thought silently. He prayed that he would remember his teachings well.

She gasped, finding it a bit hard to breath. "I'm the least of our worries right now, help Steele and yourself before me! What's the status with the dragon?"
Roland ignored the first part of what Namari said, her wound was the most important thing to deal with. "It's on the ground motionless, doesn't have the energy to move. It will be dead in a matter of moments," he said as he approached his sack. He carefully helped Namari sit down, Anne got out his medic kit that Arkelse had helped him make. He took out the bandages.
"Can you hold this on there?" he asks handing some bandages with herbs on them to her.

Namari chuckled, holding down the bandages and such. "Thanks, Roland. We sure teached that dragon, ehh? I'm going to grab one of its scales and put it into a necklase around my neck once it's dead. To remember the moment, ya know?"
He bgins to wrap bandages around the wound, he smiles at her comment, "Ypu bet we did! I am going to do the same thing nut with a claw, I might harvest some scales for an armor upgrade, cheaper than buying brand new." he ties the sealing up snug, "There we go, that should keepyou in one piece. I wonder what we can find in it once we gut the thing." Roland says as he turns back to the dragon.
The dragon collapsed, motionless. Steele looked like a giant pissed off cat who just had water splashed on him still gripping the dragon's head. His fur was windswept to the left. Steele looked right into the dragon's eyes as it lay dying in pain. He almost felt bad for it. He let his grip go. "Aye, I tink' tis' ones' had it." Steele says to Roland and Namari. He looked back at the dragon and put his pawed hand on its nose. "Sorry hinny, looks like tis' is thee last time." He said to it. The dragon's eyes glazed over. It was dead.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
"Aye." Steele says limping over to Namari. "If ye tink' tat' twas' fun wait till we get ti' its den nd' get all thee treasure. Who knoows we might even find an enchanted item." He shrugs. "Just din't be takin' no more lizards home fir pets." He jokes to Namari. "By GOD hinny, ye need a docta' er ye'll be thee same way that dragon tis', nd' i'm not goin' ti let that happen." He says picking Namari up and throwing her over his shoulder.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
Roland walked over to his spear and unhooked it from the chain. He joined the two as Steele picked Namari up, "You need help with her?" he asks Steele.

"Really now, Steele, I can walk!" She stated, sighing. "Anyways, I'll be fine. I'd like to see this treasure. A doctor can wait," she slapped Steele's back lightly. "Besides, the way you're holding me, your shoulder is digging into my wound."

Rubbing her stomach, she grinned and nodded. "Oh wait, I almost forgot," she carefully walked over to the dragon, and lightly took out one of it's golden scales. It still seemed to glow, relieving Namari of her fear. She took a piece of string out of her pocket, put a hole in the scale with her dagger, and placed the scale around her neck. Tucking the necklace under her shirt, she smiled, "Alright, I'm ready to go! What do you guys figure will be in it's den?"
Roland wondered what could be in it's den as well, hopefully not more dragons. "I'm not sure what we will find, but later I'm going to skin the dragon. I'll use it's scales to upgrade my armor, there will be plenty left over, do you guys want any?" he asks.
Steele cocked his eyebrow at the two. "I see we're fans of trophies now?" He chuckled. "Now I need yall ti' promise, when we get ti thee den ye win't dee anythin' foolish. Like take an egg er somethin'."
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."

"You know how I am about young ones, Steele. If I were to take an egg, it would be to save it. Speaking of, without it's parents can an egg survive on it's own?" she laughed.
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with trophies," he smiles as he takes a smaller claw off of the dragon and puts it in his pocket. "And as for that egg, I have my hands already full with Gabreil. That's my lion cub, just in case you didn't know," he says to Namari. "That little stinker had me chasing him all throughout the marketplace the other day."

Namari chuckled, "I have a pet fire gecko named Peter. Steele helped me find him, and I kept him because he was an orphan. I don't know, I personally think I could keep care of a dragon," she grinned at Steele.
Steele thought to himself. Every time he went on an adventure someone found a life-long companion. He thought about what it would be like having a dragon fight along side with him. "Aye a werewolf ridin' a dragoon." (One word Badass xD) "Nay not really my style, nd' an egg can survive without tis' parent, but life fir it would be hard afta' it hatches. It'd be a lone dragoon havin' ti' teach itself ti' hunt. It'd prbably be unstoppable one day. Well that's assumin' there IS an egg in thee den, in which case we should jus' sell it er somethin'. I hear it's an ingredient fir' ressurection, at least that's what thee bumblin' changa said." Steele shrugged walking on all fours forward. "Gabriel nd' Peter should get ti' getha' sometime. Hopefully Peta' win't make a rotisserie out of Gabriel." Steele laughed.
"Ah'm nothin' like me' fatha', nd' ah'll sure as hell keep it that way."
