Alex nodded and tensed his hand just slightly, staring in amazement as the water ball changed shape into a block. He tensed more and got a jet again, so moved his hands away from his face. He kept tensing and relaxing his hand, becoming familiar with with each shape and how to do them. After a few minutes, he figured that would be good enough and, changing the water back to ball shape, let Kumi drink from his hands.
Sanaki chuckled at sight "now its important not to change shape to much or the water will become unstable and hard to control and may turn on you as well, so watch how much you change its form" he warned while running a hand though his hair.
"Well you can cast all the water away or throw your arms apart which will break apart the water" he informed "but be careful you don't tense up cause that creates a blade and launches it" he warned stepping back just in case.
"Very much so, what element would you like to move on to next? earth or wind?" he asked scatching Kumi behind her ears while he watched his student for any signs of fatigue.
"Alright alright lets try earth you'll most likily be more powerful with this one if you use your powers with it" Sanaki had used earth magic before so this would easier then teaching water "this ones alot easier to perfect then others and the principle is simple one hand to make objects float two hands to move the minerals like clay, dirt, etc and to use both you simply need to will to change the objects" Sanaki demostrated once again by lifting various pebbles by raising his hand shifting them into neddle-like forms with a twist of his hand and launching them into a nearby tree by swiping at the air; Sanaki quickly procedded to raise the earth near the tree by lifting both hands into the air and engulfing the stones, and let the earth return to normal by dropping his hands.

Alex stared wide eyed at the tree. "Whoa. That was cool." he said, excited to try. He copied Sanaki's moves exactly, and managed to get it on the first try. Repeatedly reshaping a rock, he said to Sanaki, "This is so cool!"
"glad you think so, i had a feeling you would get this one one easily enough, just don't go overboard and start uprooting trees or something like that" he chuckled the boy was by far the best student he ever had and was glad he was also a friend. "useing the earth is one of the best defenses use if your ever confronted with an enemy, you can play with that as much as you like then we'll move on to wind magic" he added while he cracked his arms.
"No no its alright" he replied laughing "nothing a little healing magic won't fix" he added showing his glowing hand and gently placing it on his foot "we should probably start learning this after you learn the elements" "alright lets finish with that last element" he contiued after his foot was better.
"Yes i'm an expert in healing from a paper cut to a spear in the chest really" he proudly stated "now wind is both easy and difficult it can follow the water ball rule or the earth rule the preferance is up to the castor and is dangerous if the two rules get mixed, when useing that water ball rule you can set up multiple sources of wind and use them cast gales, breezes, or wind fast enough to cut you and is the most popular because, if you master that water ball you can master wind quickly; second is one that put into simple terms makes your hand the wind, by moving your hand to various angles and closing and opening certain fingers can unlock more possablities then the ball one, but is very difficult to master or even use" Sanaki showed each of these carefully as he explained them. "I trust you that you can do this but i want you to be careful, one wrong move and you could creat a tornado" he was strict with this warning he doubt that the city could handle a tornado right now.

Alex's eyes widened in fear at the idea of him managing to completely destroy the city. "Um... I think I'll stick with the ball one for now.. Just to be safe." He laughed nervously before starting to concentrate. He focused his energy on creating a light breeze just around him. What he got instead was a strong gust that knocked him flat on his butt.
"Hey! are you alright?" Sanaki shouted as he ran over to help "i told you it was pretty powerful" he added as he offered he hand to help him up. (sorry for the late reply)

Face red, he took his hand and stood up. "Thanks. I'm alright, just a little surprised and really embarassed." he said while brushing dirt off his clothes. "Ok, lets try again." He concentrated again, but this time not as hard. Still, he got the same strong of wind as the first time. He was knocked over again and Sanaki, who hadn't had a chance to move away yet, did too.
About face-deep in dirt Sanaki managed to mumble "thats ok it just takes a little getting use to..." after getting up and dusting himself off he turned to his student and said "watch closely" he put his hands together with his palms faceing away from him and slowly exhaled creating a light breeze and lifting up the boy and putting him down in the process; "you just have to will these things to happen like all magic willpower is a big part of it" he lectured "try to picture the outcome you want to become reality in your mind" he added while checking up on Kumi.
