First Lesson **Private RP**

[Alex Magoro]

(RP between Sanaki and myself)

Alex sat on the ground petting Nara, waiting for Sanaki to get there. He had arrived early so he could have some time to himself.
"I wonder what he'll teach me first..?" he said to the cat. He was a little nervous for his first lesson; he hadn't been to school since he was 13, and new nothing about magic. "I'm sure everything will go well though. Right Nara?" he smiled and scratched his cat behind his ear, smiling more when he started purring.
'He should be here any minute now.' Alex thought.

[Sanaki]

Sanaki had settled into a jog he was fearing of running late, Kumi was trotting next to him she was restless so Sanaki decided to bring her along; as he approached the meeting spot he could see his new student waiting, he cursed himself for being late. "Hey sorry for running late!" he noticed the cat curled in his lap knelt down to Kumi telling her she had better behave.

[Alex Magoro]

Alex stood up at Sanaki's arrival, receiving complaints from Nara. "Oh, don't worry, I was early."

[Sanaki]

"Oh i see its good you arrived early" Sanaki said while panting a little "i may as well introduce you to my compaion Kumi here before we start" he added while ruffling the fur on her head.

[Alex Magoro]

Alex smiled and said, "Wow, she's beautiful! And this is Nara." he gestured at his cat, sat a few feet away from Kumi, glaring.
"I'm very excited to see what you have to teach me" he added.

[Sanaki]

"Cute kitty" Sanaki replied tapping Kumi on the head as she started to growl, "we certainly have a lot of ground to cover in magic, is there anywhere you'd like to start first or just begin with the basic elements?" Sanaki said in the middle of a strech.

[Alex Magoro]

"Well, to be honest, I don't really know anything about magic. So I think we should start with the basics." he smiled sheepishly.

[Sanaki]

"Alright since there aren't written parts of private teaching theres no point in lecturing you on how magic came to be, so will get right dow to the fun stuff" Sanaki started with a grin. "We'll start with fire which can be quite simple; extend your arm then focus your energy where you want the fire to go, careful not to over extend the range, then focus imagining a burning heat and then, fruitation" Sanaki followed his words and produced a fire near his finger tips much to Kumi's amusment. (oh my sorry for such a long post)

[Alex Magoro]

Careful not to cheat by using his eyes, he did as instructed and: nothing happened. Frowning, he tried again, this time with more success. He look at his mentor with a smile and said happily, "I did it!"

[Sanaki]

"Nice work kiddo, you got it faster then any of my other students at the schools, at this rate you'll be top-notch in no time" Sanaki proudly stated. "Do you want to continue or practice a little more with fire?" he questioned while petting Kumi.

[Alex Magoro]

"T-thank you!" Alex stuttered, surprised by the compliment. "Um, whatever you see fit. You're the teacher after all." he said, again feeling uncomfortable having to make the decision.

[Sanaki]

"Oh! right, oops" he had forgotton about that part "lets focus on water magic this time, i'm not as skilled with water as i am with other types of magic, but there is one rule i and some others follow; and thats start with a ball" he stated forming a small ball of water he kept suspended in midair, "this helps to use the other forms water takes such as: jet, spike, blocks, walls, etc" Sanaki explained showing each one "however you have to keep your hands relaxed to create the ball then make them tense to change the form" he hated water magic he useally only succeded in soaking himself with it. "Alright try it out" he urged

[Alex Magoro]

He nodded, a little nervous as he had never tried water magic before.
Cupping his hands in front of him, he once again did as instructed. And again, his first attempt had no results. He tried a few more times, but still nothing. He looked at Sanaki in despair, asking with his eyes for help.

[Sanaki]

"Alright don't worry, here" taking his student's hands he moved them so that the palms faced outward a bit more, "some people learn it in diffrent ways; try now" he said backing away "and keep your hands relaxed or you may end up releaseing a jet of water instead of a ball" he warned.

[Alex Magoro]

Concentrating, he tried again. This time it worked, but in the way he had hoped. Apparently, his hands weren't relaxed enough, and a steady stream of water was hitting him in the face. He couldn't figure out how to stop it, so he froze the water with his eyes.
He stood there for a moment, soaking wet and staring at his mentor. Then, he burst out laughing.

[Sanaki]

Sanaki nearly doubled over laughing the situation was just to funny to hold it in "well...at...at...least....i-if...you..ever.......ca-catch on fire.....it won't be that big of a deal!" he managed to gasp out while laughing; once he calmed down he took off his trench coat and offered it to the drenched boy "here so you won't freeze, unless you want to try lighting yourself on fire and putting it out really quickly" still chuckling a bit.

[Alex Magoro]

Alex glared jokingly at Sanaki, but couldn't keep the grin off his face. "Ha ha, very funny." he said sarcastically. Taking the trench coat, he briefly turned around to take off his shirt. He squeezed as much water out of it as he could before putting it and the coat on. "Thanks." he said as he turned around.

[Sanaki]

"No problem" he replied crossing his arms over his chest as he felt naked without his coat, "would you like to try useing water magic again or should we focus on another magic" Sanaki Was testing his detimination to learn the elements which would dictate which magic he'll end up mastering.

[Alex Magoro]

"I would like to keep trying with water." Alex is not the type to give up easily, and was determined to get it right, even if it took all day.
He cupped his hands again and made sure they were very relaxed this time. Closing his eyes, he concentrated hard on making the water ball. When he opened his eyes a few moments later, he saw a very tiny ball of water forming in his hands. He smiled and focused on making it bigger. When it was the size of his hands, he looked at Sanaki with a huge smile, proud of himself for finally being able to do it.

[Sanaki]

Sanaki smiled back, the boy had done it he would have patted him on the shoulder but he didn't want him to lose his focus "alright now trying tensing up your hands into diffrent shapes and extents of tension and expriment with it till your confident handling it." Sanaki instructed while holding back a thirsty Kumi.
