"I put my faith in you you then" Sanaki looked down at the book before asking "Do you REALLY want to remember? what if your not who you think you were?" he was concerned for Rez, if his past was dark then what kind of effect would that have on him?
"It would be better than not knowing. Sanaki, don't worry. It is not my past that will define me, but my present. There is always time, until death, for you to change what you were and become what you can be."
Sanaki was surprised by what Rez had said "Those are quite some words of wisdom there, and your right" he stared down at the book and opened it looking over the text "jeez i completely forget how this works; i always remembered it as a going into another and your own memories, but this text looks different then mine" he passed the book to Rez hoping he could make sense of it.
Sanaki stared lazily at the book as Rez held it, there was somthing about it that he was forgetting; then as if to answer him his memories came rushing back, he grabbed the book from Rez and began to rapidly flip though the pages, what was once was dense reading became words and intructions.
Sanaki smiled it was marvelous to see how this was done in his mind he almost lost his balence over his excitment "This is it! this explains hows to access other's memories!" Sanaki tried to calm himself as to not scare Rez.
Rez was shocked that the man just snatched the book from him, but he seemed to of had something click, plus Rez was getting nowhere. "So you know how to do it?" he asked anxious.
"Yeah, yeah it should pretty easy now that i'm finally remembering it, though i can probably only do the first 'level' of it, you see there are mutiple 'levels' the first makes the user fall asleep, like your powder, and then that person would have to mess with their opponent's mind untill he/she dies before the user is killed or disturbed from their 'slumber'; so you'll remain awake and have to wake me up in a little bit" Sanaki figured he shouldn't continue with the other 'levels' since they didn't matter and this wasn't one of his classes.
"Yes i fall asleep, but i have complete access to your mind so i can tamper with it or not so yes your right; however if i spend to long in your mind it will eventrually notice me as a threat and kill me faster then you can blink, also if i spend to much time it will mess up a large amount of things" this was a shortened verison of what the book said.
"Er... i don't know maybe i should give you a kick to the brain or something?" Sanaki was a little lost on how he was going to stop messing with Rez's mind only using the first level and begun to look for the answer in the book.
"Yeah the moment i find out how to signal yo-yup here it is! mental kick to the brain should work, alright let get this done" he stood up and pointed two fingers at Rez (y'know a finger gun? just that with two fingers and no thumb) and placed three fingers on the side of his head and focused, then without warning he fell to the ground, out cold.
Rez for a moment was shocked but then chuckled. Is that how he looked when he did something similar? It was no wonder everyone always seemed freaked out when he re-awoken. Now he just had to wait.
Sanaki had no clue where he was and began to shift though Rez's thoughts and memories, from simple math to to the most complicated words he knew, it was all stored here and was overwhelming until he 'saw' something that seemed to sing out 'lost memories' he reached for it until he found myself he a area he wasn't familiar with; he eventually realized: he was in the memory itself.
Rez walked threw the lightly crowed streets of Lyician. He was always an early riser so the marketplace wasn't filled with its normal rush of people. He was younger, his hair much shorter and his face much younger. He looked almost like a child but in reality he was 48 years old.
Rez tried to avoid the large clumps of people when he got to one, this was why he was an early riser, there were more loiters here than anywhere else in all the city. Their pointless standing was rather annoying. It was then when Rez reached a small stairway that took him down into a damp and dark lower alleyway. His footsteps splashed into small puddles here and there.
After a few minutes of walking, he approached a large, seemingly wooden door, although in truth it was probably layered so it would provided safety from any type of criminal acts. He lightly knocked on the door and the sound affirmed that it was not wood. Moment later a large and cloaked Goragonain opened the door. He was obviously a little drunk as he waved Rez in, "Rez, *hic* come on in me boy!"

Sanaki followed what appeared to be a younger Rez, or at least what he thought a young Rez would look like, he kept his distance though if he had any interaction with young Rez it could affect the older Rez, or at least that was what the book said "Hurt a man in the mind and the body shall follow" he said under his breath.
He fixed his coat looking at the city while he followed Rez and made sure to avoid any puddles that might alert him, the sight of creature was intimidating alone but it also posed a question: how the hell his he supposed to get inside? he couldn't affect the memory; his plan was to teleport and pray for a dark place to hide.
Rez walked in and the door closed behind him. The rooms were dark, that's how the lizard folk liked it. He followed Obadiah to the back rooms were a bunch of his kind sat at a table playing with cards, laughing at stories, and drinking.
Sanaki managed to get in just before the door closed and stayed low in a corner where he could hear everything, the only downfall would be the lizards if they caught sense of him there would be violence, but as long as Rez wasn't hurt it would be okay, though he doubt Rez would take kindly to him killing his allies; that didn't matter though as he focused in on their conversations, drunken or not.
