Phillis had finished all the work he needed to do at the castle and returned to the little shabby house that Walter had been staying in with Scarlett and Grayson.
It had taken him much longer then he thought, but at least it was finished. Now, he reeked of alcohol and was a little bit drunk, but still stable enough to remember where he was going.

Walter had been talking with Scarlett some more while Grayson played in his room. The two had much catching up to do. And, to Walters surprise, she seemed the exact same. He couldnt understand it though, he felt something. He just didn't know what.
"I'll get it," Walter nodded, getting up and walking to the door. He smiled at Phillis, bowing. "Hello, my king! How did it all go?"

Phillis held up the official piece of paper stating that Paineston and Avaleur now held a treaty. He smiled happily. "Isn't that wonderful?" he asked, happily. "All I had to do was get my brother a little drunk and ta-dah! A treaty."

Phillis smiled as he stepped into the house. He waved to Scarlett. Scarlett laughed a bit before waving back. "You smell absolutely terrible. I had no clue our sweet little prince liked to drink." she joked.
Phillis laughed, he turned back to Walter. "Sorry I took so long. How did things go for you here?"

Walter looked at Scarlett for a spit second with a soft smile, but quickly turned to Phillis and grinned, "Quite well. Scarlett and I were catching up."

Phillis thought it over. "Well, I guess it would be nice to stay a little longer. I'm sure Namari is doing a fine job on her own for now." He said. He really did want to stay and he could tell Walter was having a good time as well. Scarlett clapped her hands together, happily. "That's wonderful. It would be great to have you all stay longer. Grayson seems to have taken a liking to the both of you. It is quite rare for him to like people that quickly."

"Really?" Walter raised an eyebrow, surprised. "To be honest, I do wonder why that is. Phillis and I arent really the type of people others like very quickly. Eventually, just not quickly."

Phillis laughed. "People don't like me in general, so that's quite odd." Scarlett smiled a bit and shrugged. "He's just a boy, and you both tried to protect him upon barely knowing him. Perhaps he looks up to you both."

"That makes sense, I suppose." Walter smiled, nodding. Turning to Phillis, he smirked, "Many people like you, Phillis, they would not follow you if they did not."

Phillis just smiled, pretending to agree with Walter. He knew that many people had begun to flee to Paineston after he became king and that only few people actually cared for him. He shrugged it off though. It was no big deal to him, really. Okay, maybe it did get to him a bit.
Grayson poked his head out of his room. "Oh, Hello prince! You came back, did ya?" he asked, grinning. "Papa, how long are you both gonna stay? You're not gonna leave already, are ya?"

"Well, we're staying for a little longer. A few hours or so." Walter smiled gently. "But I will visit as often as possible, and you are welcome to visit as often as you would like as well."

Scarlett shrugged. "I wouldn't mind getting him off my hands for a little while!" she said with a laugh. " Make sure you take good care of him, alright? He's a bit of a handful."
