Magnus sat perched on one of the higher branches in the old tree. He looked below, the young boy Dakota had a habit of pointing to everything when he talked and as a cause of this he assumed the two men who were with him would talk to Yalis. The tribe's main medicine woman.

Jordan laughed a bit, lifting up his hand and creating some ice in it. He created a small dragon head made of ice, and handed it to Dakota. "Here you go, then, for the help. It wont melt, so you can keep it forever! And thank you very much Dakota, we appreciate the help you have given us."
"Woooooow," Dakota watched in awe as Jordan sculpted the dragon head, "hey, thanks mister!" and with that he smiles and ran off to find his friends so he could show them his new toy.
Kavanah chuckled lightly watching Dakota run off excitedly, "It is good to remember what we are fighting for, yes?" he said referring to the war that they were in the middle of.

Jordan chuckled, following the chants of the woman to where she sat. "Excuse me, if you do not mind us being here, we would like to ask you something," Jordan politely said, smiling kindly at the old lady.
The old woman opened her eyes and looked up at Jordan. Her eyes were glossed over and grey, she was blind. "Ah, yes yes. I am always welcome to the company of men as pleasing and handsome as you two." she smiled. A bit creepily.

Jordan smiled gently. He had met a lot of people in his life, and this woman did not seem to bug him. "Well, I don't suppose you know of a certain symbol, or carving? We found it on the road here, it was a sort of eye with a large tear, and triangles sort of bursting from the eye. Do you know anything about it?"
The woman chuckled. She had a tatto of the symbol on her forehead, "Please, a moment for me to evaluate you." as she finished the tatto moved. It changed form and then back to how it was. The eye had blinked. She looked the two over with her eye.
The eye made Kavanah a bit uncomfortable, but he tried not to show it. Yalis mumbled somethings that were impossible to make sense of and the had a puzzled look on her face, she pointed at Kavanah, "I have trouble figuring what you are... Inside and out you are pulled by different forces it seems. One light.... one dark...." she walked around the two a bit more and then stopped, "Nothing wrong that I can tell, but I must respect the thoughts of us as a whole, please allow me to question you further while we wait..."

"Well, we live in Avaleur. In our old castle, in the ruins, the same symbol is found. We want to know what it represents, and why it is in both Avaleur and Hollow." Jordan thought, watching the woman.
Kavanah nodded agreeing with Jordan. "We want to know the connection."
Yalis nodded, "Alright then. I will let Magnus speak to you." she turned and looked up. On the branch above them stood a figure dressed in garments with the symbol on the front.

"Oh hey, perfect, he's gotta know!" Jordan grinned at Kavanah, then looked back up at Magnus. The elemental then began speaking to him, "Hello! Would you mind telling us what that symbol is?"
Magnus was a bit shocked by Yalis' approve, as it was so soon. She must have seen many things she liked in these two. "It is a symbol to represent our goddess and her power. The tear she shed to the ground when she was killed."
